This is very interesting. Other guides I have followed on sprouting used very different techniques. Your methods seem a lot smarter. It seems like such an obvious idea to thoroughly clean the beans first, but I never thought of it. I guess that this should be done with growing many things from commercial sources.
Oh! I started watching your soy bean milk first This is interesting as well. I love any bean sprout. I have not tried the soy bean sprout yet except that I always eat this in Korean restaurants. Marie, why do you not let the final sprouting time be in the light so it can turn green? Doesn't the green color mean it has more chlorophyll now? Or am I wrong?
The burlap retains water and helps keeping the beans moist throughout and produces healthier sprouts. You can skip it as long as your beans stay hydrated.
