Thank you so much for this! You made it so easy, my teen was able to make a beautiful turquoise and silver beaded bracelet for a special friend in maybe an hour after watching this. It turned out great!! We tied a silver button on the end to go through the closure loop instead of just a knot, and added a few small beads also to each of the 4 tail ends of the string for decoration. Thank you again!!
Thank you for this tutorial! I have been wanting to know how to make these kinds of bracelets for YEARS! I went and bought a ton of beads at Joann only to get home and realize the holes in most of them are too small to put two strings through. I bought a bead reamer to enlarge the holes so hopefully that will work. I'm excited to get started!
Thank you so much for this! I of course got a little mad but when we started doing it again and again it got easier thank you if I never watched you I'll never learn
You made this look so doable! Thank you for the great understandable instructions. Will be buying a board, hemp and beads to make. Plan on showing my granddaughter this tutorial for her to make with me. Thanks again.
We love our macramé board. Some of our very first videos from 9 or 10 years ago used this same model of board, it's a real classic in our design space.
It's a really cool bracelet!! The color is also very pretty. And thank you for always kindly writing your reply. You watched the video very well today too! Please make a lot. :)
Any suggestions for why my beads keep jumping out of the loops (the two sides of the loop keep slipping behind the beads). Or why, when that doesn't happen, my length begins twisting even though I'm rotating equally right/left. Help!? ,🤦♀️
Hi! Those are great questions. Are you using the same size materials as shown in the video? I am wondering if it has anything to do with the size of the cord you are using or the size of the bead?
@@felicianoel4880 Sorry I didn't see your follow up question here, yes it's approximately 144 beads. They're sold be weight so it may be a few beads off in either direction, but not by many.
Seed beads come in standard sizes from the largest 1/0 size ("one aught", or "one oh" ) to very small 24/0 beads. These in the video are 2/0 beads. We sell them ourselves, with a wider selection than what you'll see at Joann's: beadaholique.com/collections/seed-beads?sort=best-selling&_=pf&pf_t_size=0-Size%3A2%2F0
These cords do not fit through those beads, or you sent me the wrong beads. My husband and I both tried but ended up with frayed cords. The holes are way too small.
Hi, sorry those beads aren't fitting right. Can you reach out to our customer service team by e-mail at service@beadaholique.com ? They'll be able to check your order and figure out what's going wrong with the fit.
Hi Özlem, sorry Google isn't doing a good job translating your question for me. If you're wondering about placing an order on our website we do ship internationally The prices on our website should display the currency of the country you're connecting from.
Oh yeah a button would be a great way to accent the closure. To do that you'd just need to slide a button on to your two cords as you gather them at 2:13 and tie it into place. Then when you're done knotting your beads to the length you want you'll make a slightly larger loop at the other end of the bracelet to accommodate the button.
Hi Joanna, sorry you had a frustrating time with this. It does take some practice, it can be deceptively easy to learn the basic motion of but more difficult to develop a feel for repeating the motion identically each time for get the best result. If you're still struggling hang in there!

Thanks as always! We've a video coming up tomorrow and then likely another on Friday!
Thank you, Kat! Now to practice.
Have fun Sherron!
When I do square knots the only way I don't get lost is if I start with a "P" then repeat in my head as I go " P 4 P 4 P 4 P 4" Lmao
Hey whatever works! I think we all have little tricks like that when it comes to patterns.
Thanks, that will help me alot!
Do you have a video highlighting the latch at the end?
I use clear nail polish at the ends to prevent fraying
great tip!

what should I do If I don't have the macrame board?
You can take your ends to your tables so that they are anchored down. A clip board also works well.
Nice ... What kind of beads ? Thanks
We used these Czech glass 2/0 seed beads: beadaholique.com/products/czech-glass-matubo-tri-cut-2-0-seed-bead-20-gram-tube-opaque-blue-rembrandt
