    Thank you so much for this!
    You made it so easy, my teen was able to make a beautiful turquoise and silver beaded bracelet for a special friend in maybe an hour after watching this. It turned out great!! We tied a silver button on the end to go through the closure loop instead of just a knot, and added a few small beads also to each of the 4 tail ends of the string for decoration.
    Thank you again!!

    Thank you for this tutorial! I have been wanting to know how to make these kinds of bracelets for YEARS! I went and bought a ton of beads at Joann only to get home and realize the holes in most of them are too small to put two strings through. I bought a bead reamer to enlarge the holes so hopefully that will work. I'm excited to get started!

    The macramé board is a great tool

      We love our macramé board. Some of our very first videos from 9 or 10 years ago used this same model of board, it's a real classic in our design space.

    When I do square knots the only way I don't get lost is if I start with a "P" then repeat in my head as I go " P 4 P 4 P 4 P 4" Lmao

    Any suggestions for why my beads keep jumping out of the loops (the two sides of the loop keep slipping behind the beads). Or why, when that doesn't happen, my length begins twisting even though I'm rotating equally right/left. Help!? ,🤦‍♀️

      Hi! Those are great questions. Are you using the same size materials as shown in the video? I am wondering if it has anything to do with the size of the cord you are using or the size of the bead?

    what should I do If I don't have the macrame board?

      You can take your ends to your tables so that they are anchored down. A clip board also works well.

      It says there are approximately 144 beads per pack . Is that correct ? Thanks

    • @beadaholique
      @beadaholique  3 роки тому +1

      @@felicianoel4880 Sorry I didn't see your follow up question here, yes it's approximately 144 beads. They're sold be weight so it may be a few beads off in either direction, but not by many.

    what size seed beads from jo ann's would I need to get for the hemp cord?

    • @beadaholique
      @beadaholique  3 роки тому

      Seed beads come in standard sizes from the largest 1/0 size ("one aught", or "one oh" ) to very small 24/0 beads. These in the video are 2/0 beads. We sell them ourselves, with a wider selection than what you'll see at Joann's: beadaholique.com/collections/seed-beads?sort=best-selling&_=pf&pf_t_size=0-Size%3A2%2F0

    These cords do not fit through those beads, or you sent me the wrong beads. My husband and I both tried but ended up with frayed cords. The holes are way too small.

    What about a button

    • @beadaholique
      @beadaholique  3 роки тому

      Oh yeah a button would be a great way to accent the closure. To do that you'd just need to slide a button on to your two cords as you gather them at 2:13 and tie it into place. Then when you're done knotting your beads to the length you want you'll make a slightly larger loop at the other end of the bracelet to accommodate the button.
