It's always a good day when you get fish! Nice Tank
Thank you so much, i agree I am very happy with how the tank is coming along. Thanks for stopping by brother.
Dear Gabriel:
Congratulations, on your terrific purchase, of two Boeseman's rainbowfish (Melanotaenia boesemani). I purchased one, from my, local, pet store and really loved it. I quarantined it, for 21 days, in a 10-gallon tank, as it was young and small. It had a great personality; begging for food, when it saw me. I no longer have it, as it was a gift, for Charles. I hope to acquire more Boeseman's rainbowfish (Melanotaenia boesemani), for myself, in future.
I’d say you have about 10% of the hardscape you should have, in this tank. The best course of action is to use only one type of hardscape. I suggest that you get more of those, terrific rocks. I’m pleased to hear that you intend to get rid of the plastic hides. For me, the more natural a set-up looks, the better.
I’m very pleased, to see that you are having terrific success, with aquatic plants.
All my best,
Sincerely,
E. J. Brinegar
Thank you sir, I do plan on getting much more hardscape it will just take a lil time as i have more plans than money. I will get rid of the hides for sure as i have added two more for the rainbows to hide since the guarami was chasing them a lil. Once plants grow and i get more natural hides the plastic one will go away. thanks for stopping by brother.
Those plants have really been filling in
I am so excited about the progress, I was going to buy some swards today but the rainbows were a lilt more than i expected. I will get some swards in the future this bad boy is coming along. Thanks for stopping by brother.
Cool new species of rainbow fish, Balsamic. They must go well on a salad
Hahaha Im sure they will, and if they don't last i might actually find out :p thanks for stopping by brother.
😄
The boesemani rainbow are realy nice when fully color up. Did not like the shape of many rainbow in initially, they are growing on me. Such nice variety of them. Building a nice mix of them. Thanks for sharing
Yes sir i want to get a large variety of colors in this tank. I'm excited at how its coming along, thanks for stopping by brother.
The tank coming along nicely
Thank you so much, I am EXTREMELY happy with it's progress.
Wow, what an incredible tank Gabriel ❤

wow amazing
Thank you for stopping by, and thanks for the nice omment.
Subscribed brother, Sweet tank
Thank you sir, just Subbed ya back.
Looking good Gabriel, your plants are starting to fill in before you know it it will be full. The rainbow with the orange on the back half is a male. I didn’t see the other too well but females usually don’t have the dark color on the back end.
Ya i can't wait, probably next check ill buy some more plants. I do think the other rainbow is a girl because it kinda has ligher shade of yellow all the way through and is much thinner. And at least in my household the female is much thinner than the male as well :p
Yep I see your Val is starting get going pretty good. Yea the rainbows are awesome you need to get more of them they are a very active fish
I agree i want to get much more, maybe 2 or 3 more of these and 3 or 4 teal ones, but i have more plans than i have money :p Thank you for stopping by brother.
@@GCaquatics I love it I have more plans than I have money! Lord knows that's true.
@@razinfishes1918 You will see though she will come along lil by lil. God is gooooood to me :D
What up cool
Thank you for stopping by and thanks for the nice comment brother.
@@GCaquatics anytime
Congratulations on the bosemanis. The platys are great too, but I never had any fry survive with the angelfish I had in my tank. You'd need to provide more cover like mosses, floating plants, etc to have them survive, but I love platys. Are you planning on adding wood? The reason I ask is because right now would be the perfect time to add a long piece of mopani or even some spider wood since the plants are fully covering the bottom yet. The rocks were a great idea and look great. I'd add more of the same kind or even different colors. Your tank can handle large stones like that, and they help the bottom from becoming completely taken over by the jungle vallisneria, because believe me it will take over the entire bottom particularly as you add more fish that creates more nitrates.
Thank ypu so much for your very informative comment. I do plan to get much more plants more rocks and hopefully some wood. It just so happens i have more plans than money though :p
@GCaquatics oh no trust me I had to add to my 55g over the period of a year to get it where I ultimately wanted it. This is an expensive hobby
@@FishRfun Yes sir, i will be adding and adding with time. If the jungle val goes out of control that is a good thing because i can pull some out and put it in my two dirted tanks in the room which are going to be guppy and shrimp breeding colonies.
The plants arfe starting to spread, before you know it, the whole back will be covered
That is what I am hoping for then I can get so much more fish, right now my gourami's are jerks. The other fish will need more hiding places.
