God bless your heart. You provided a wonderful video that I think is much better than another one I saw that lasts over an hour!! I don't see how the old guy can find so much to talk about in his videos. Yours are amazing!!! Thank you!!!!
You are amazing! I love your work. I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on how you torte, fill and crumb coat and final icing. I love those types of videos, call me crazy but I love watching'how people ice cakes. Sadly most videos on this the person skips through it or fast forward making it difficult for the viewers to see how to ice. I know it is just practice but I still would love to see how you do it. I also love your voice and accent which makes it much easier to watch your videos also. Thank you for sharing your work!
Heidi Minor Hi Heidi, Thank you so much for your lovely comments. I am so glad you like my work and videos. I definitely plan to make some videos on the stages I do to decorate my cakes from the start and basic decorating tips. Thank you for watching.
Hi, If you heat the wire before adding it into the gumpaste it makes the wire stick to the gumpaste faster and allows you to work with it straight away. You can also use edible glue but you would normally need to wait for this to dry and the wore to stick before carrying on making the flower. Heating up the wire just speeds up the process.
Hi, love your video. What colour blossom tints did you use? I'm making some purple tinted calla lilies for a wedding and so I'm thinking aubergine and then I need to choose a yellow and a green from the range. What would you recommend? Thanks x
gail bourne Hi Gail, The wire that I am using for the lilies is plain wire, but you can use either. I just made sure it was quite a thick wire. This one was 18 gauge.
Amanda Foden When rolling out my gumpaste if it is sticking when I use a very small amount of corn flour on the surface. Also make sure the surface you are rolling it out onto is completely clean as I find if I have been rolling icing onto the same surface this will make it stick. I hope that helps.

Why do you heat the wire before putting it through the yellow piece?
