    I grew up with that song, and it was interesting to hear it coming out of a MicroBrute(?) I don't even own a MicroBrute, but this is genius.

    That synth patch tho. Sequence this: C#, G#, F, all at +1 octave, repeat ad nauseum, tempo to 118bpm and you have "Your Love" by Frankie Knuckles!

    I wish i had access to the internet back in the 80's. I had a Yamaha QX5 sequencer with a Casio CZ-1000 synth and an Alesis HR-16 drum machine and could not figure out how to work it.

    It would be so great if you could do some videos covering the ensoniq esq-1 or sq-80 as I just purchased an sq-80 and don't quite have all its features down!

    Hello, I play in a band and we play sort of "New Order" style and would like to know if we can get "New Order paths" for the sequencer regarding their songs like Blue Monday, Ture Faith…etc., thank you.

    Paolo, let me ask you. Is there any way to go through the notes of the sequence, step by step? Like on a tb 303, when you keep pressing the button so you can listen (and also actualy see) the notes on the sequence.
    Thanks

    Please, Do you know how to sequence Dave Smith synths? Could you make a tutorial about Dave Smith´s Mopho sequencer?

  • @koalemos1679

    Sir, thanks for sharing your amazing collection with us. Can that Sequencer on the microbrute be programmed by playing live as well as manually like you did?

    • @SynthManiaDotCom
      @SynthManiaDotCom  7 років тому

      No - if you play it live, it gets quantized to whichever resolution you have set in the software, without rests.

      Oh, okay cool. That little synth seems really good, I see a lot of people use it. Thanks for the answer

    How do you know where the 1 is when you are programming the sequencer?

      You have to be familiar with basic music theory.

    Nice how to demo, but all that time and effort for something that's just going be erased as soon as you turn it off? 🤣

    • @SynthManiaDotCom
      @SynthManiaDotCom  6 років тому +2

      ??? You can save sequences in the eight provided memory slots, and you can also transfer / edit / save sequences via computer.

    • @mistrrey5562
      @mistrrey5562 6 років тому

      SynthMania you know what? Right after typing this I tried transferring midi to the Brute like I've already done successfully on my Volca Keys and it worked! And I also found it saved the sequence after powering back up as well!
      I haven't bothered with the firmware ever because of the horror stories I read on threads of people's Microbrutes literally shutting down when attempting firmware updates and whatnot.
      If and when I buy a second brute, then I may try that. Besides, I got into analog and hardware to gtf away from the computer. The only thing I use the computer for now is recording.
