I seriously wear my hair like this just about every day. It's been so hot lately that I have to have my hair out of my way and doing the braids adds so much to a simple look! I'm glad somebody else loves the way it looks. :)

@Beleeenchen What you saw in the beginning of the video is the result of me wearing the twisted hairstyle during the day ;) I personally don't like my short hair wavy like this but a lot of ppl have request I do heatless waves tuts.
@bhoomsi You may want to dampen your hair a little bit or add some styling products beforehand. Check out my "How to French Twist" and "Simple Side Twist" videos...made them when my hair was long, so they should help you more :)
@XR0ck3rChickX Thanks! It's a R&R lip gloss in Cougar (got it off of Hautelook)...I had to blot off some of the color bc it's seriously intense!
@HyperSensitive88 I haven't watched a Lilithedarkmoon video in ages, but I'm pretty sure my tutorial is somewhat different. We explain things differently and don't have the same hair lengths and textures. I made this video bc I got a lot of requests for updos and heatless waves on SHORT hair using the techniques shown in my "How to French Twist" video from last year.
@bhoomsi I have really thick hair, too. Mine is not nearly as long as yours though. I only get the pretty waves around my roots but next to none towards the bottom. If I split my hair in two and do two low anime-like buns the waves are much better at the ends.
@danaaaaaax I'll try to do more when my hair grow out a little more....personally like my short hair straight better lol

@katieschannel If your hair is longer, you can check out my "How to French Twist" video to see how to include all your hair in 2 french twists. If not, you can always just part your hair into 3 sections and do 3 twists instead of 2 twists and 1 bun ;)
@bytesize82 I guess you can check ebay, but just to warn you...the actual lip gloss is intensely red. The pic @ 0:08 is what it looks like after blotting :)

@fayethailand I've never tried and probably won't try them any time soon. I just can't imagine having to sleep in them =/ Ya they're pretty pricey for what they are lol I'm really interested in trying out Topstyler though (not really heat-free but seems to be less damaging than traditional heat tools).

@tinimissvn Having the bun in the back does give you some waves, but they'll be looser. If you're wearing this overnight, you can always part your hair into 3 sections and do 3 twists instead of 2 twists and 1 bun :) Check out my "How to French Twist" and "Simple Side Twist" videos for more reference on similar techniques.

has anyone come up with a version of the twist that gives you waves in the back of your hair too, as opposed to just the sides that you twisted in the front?

Omg people. Im sure every hairstyle vid has a vid similar to it. I'm pretty sure she doesnt spend all her time looking up hairstyles shes going to do to make sure no one else did them. I mean how many vids are there on fishtail braids? Lots. And sometimes its good to hear stuff explained a different way anyway. Sheesh.
