I think it's incredibly fitting that, when describing Satan, he shows stock footage of a snake. But it's actually a corn snake, a tiny little reptile that's harmless to humans.

Christians are always on the lookout for the devil. They see him everywhere and quite often, they see the devil in their fellow man. Examples: The spanish inquisition, the various witch hunts, the Salem witch trials.
Their stress level goes up, their fear goes up. The priests ask the people to get together and do something about it.
So, they go around cleansing their land of the evil, of the devil.
Then, the stress level goes down, the fear goes down. They assume that their god is happy with their actions.
Then, they can sleep in comfort while their fellow man is in the ground, decomposing.

6:55 wait, five minutes? Dude, Moses was gone for several months in that story. He was gone for so long that the Israelites started to think he probably abandoned them or died, and that's why they made the golden calf in the first place. Hell, it's even said in the Bible that the Israelites made the golden calf because they wanted to have a visual representation of the God that took them out of Egypt, and they (and I guess Aaron) didn't know what he looked like so they just made a big cow and hoped it was close enough. So they thought they were still worshipping Yahweh by worshipping the calf, not that they were worshipping a different deity, let alone Satan. And all of this was before Moses was given the ten commandments (or the list of rules that people mistakenly call the ten commandments today), so the Israelites had no idea that making graven images was forbidden. They basically got punished for breaking a law that didn't exist until after they broke it.

I don't know if that's a real thing or if that's just what was thought. Also, it brought attention that a bull was going to be killed for meat so it was harder for unscrupulous traders to pass off the tougher meat as a younger animal.

"I can confirm" [...] "pastors are" [...] "super wet for the apocalypse" that is brilliant, I'm proper moist for your use of the English language 10/10. I will now be adding it to "The Goat Herders Guide To The Galaxy" that I throw out when those dog botherers, you know, those special ones that never learn. They are just so damn pig headed that no matter how many people tell them what an atheist is and that we don't all think a certain way (except about Dog) or "have to believe" such-and-such they seem to have a learning disorder that blocks logic leaking into their dogmatic smegma coated smooth brains. Luckily I've only encountered those types online - along with actual flat Earthers - because they all seem to be clustered in the continental United States. No offence to those Seppos who don't have their panties in a twist because of their religion, they know that space is real, the world is an oblate spheroid, no vacuums suck, including the carpet cleaning type, gravity is real, evolution and the big bang are "scientific theories" and not the colloquial, "just a theory".
Can I ask you a question, damn that's a silly thing to write in a comment section... Seeing as you grew up in a Christian household and went to churches, have you read the bible in its entirety? Someone said that the second most purchased book is The Lord of the Rings - after the bible - and more people would have read it cover to cover than those who have read the bible.
Anyway, I am sorry for my rant, it is 6:30 am and I have only slept about 20 minutes.
