It actually seems plausible that Laszlo Cravensworth would go to Greendale and teach grifting just cause he was bored. Now Jackie Daytona on the other hand would never have gotten grifted.

I see a lot of people in these comments saying this was one of their least favorite episodes, but it was actually probably my favorite from this season. Mostly because of Matt himself, even if people are saying he was toned down here. The last seasons were pretty lackluster, but this episode (and that weird giant fiberglass hand one) was honestly one of the few memorable and fun standout ones for me from the later seasons
Matt Berry is just so amazing at playing absolute sleazebags. His pompous voice has the miraculous ability to make anything coming out of his mouth sound profoundly insincere. Yet, he always knows how to walk the thin line so his acting keeps the aura of the self-aware and does not become too farcical. Pure art.

Me too. Sort of hoping for him to ‘win’. Also Joel Mchale is anti-funny and the writing’s not serving Matt’s talents. I get this show mixed up with another one-word named American sitcom but I thought this was meant to be good all the same? It has some rick and morty connections and that show is often brilliant.
