I had purchased a few Lion Brand Wool-Ease DK cakes on sale: colorwave- Strawberry Shortcake. I was wondering if I'd ever use this yarn, as I really don't like yarn weight 3 and under. This is a great project that is working up fast. I did 3 rows the regular way of the back posts and then switched. That made it so much easier to do the back post. Awesome tutorial.

I just finished making this shawl in Lion Brand Mandala Tweed Stripes yarn. It’s near-impossible to capture the beauty and depth of the texture of the fabric on camera - just as you said! I made it for a friend’s elderly mother, but now I don’t want to part with it! Of course, I will, but I love it so much. I just made this using caron cake latte cakes and absolutely love the way it turned out. It is so squishy. I made it as a gift for my mom, but I like it so much that I think I'm going to make myself one using a different color
This should make a lovely poncho if two of these panels can be crocheted & seamlessly stitched together. I haven’t made & worn a poncho in a long time & this would be a perfect stitch fit my needs! 😁

I saw this pattern and immediately thought of which yarn to use. I just started crocheting this shawl in Hobbii Carnival, solor 14, and I must say this pattern is really complimenting colorgradient yarn. Each color gets to shine.
