Ageing/getting old is a privilege many don't/won't have. It's fine to look your age. People who look younger than their actual age (naturally) are more uncommon than we think, not everyone won the gene lottery.

The individuals making ignorant and offensive comments seem to lack an understanding of the experiences women endure throughout various life stages, including weight fluctuations, hormonal changes, and particularly menopause. Although I was unaware of her age being 50, her appearance is undeniably incredible for her age. She is a timeless beauty. No one is immune to time and we cannot expect to look the same... that is a fact.

Thank you for bringing up this issue. People feel they can say shameful and harmful things to others shielded by anonymity. Public figures like Aishwarya are always at the receiving end of this vitriol. I have heard people criticize her looks from the beginning- either she is too plastic or she’s not doing enough to stay youthful. Aishwaya has been the epitome of grace, beauty and talent. Mediocrity shows it’s frustration and jealousy in many ways. Barbs and jibes are the tools that unleash frustration at the expense of others. It says more about the perpetrators than the recipient.

Physical appearance is the most important, if not the only thing matters in certain profession. So, yes, you'll get comments on physical appearance only. If you have a profession where your mathematics skill is the most important thing, and your brain is not working as fast and accurately as is expected in that job, you'll get fired. When due to the beauty industry the parameters of beauty set for common girls were high, and now these celebs are using money to get botox done and again setting parameters unreachable for common ageing women, there is no need for everybody to get so over reacting over trolls on her, celebs are earning money based on her beauty (that's the industry she has chosen) they are not struggling that we need to empathise with them, quit the job if you are not fit, which applies to all of us daily in our lives.

Since, fans have seen them with their unnatural look from the beginning, that's how they perceived those celebs. Probably, this was their bread and butter where you entice fans and earn stardom. Now, when you cannot keep up with these things, then morality comes? Our sisters have felt insecure throughout their life seeing beauty standards set by these celebs loosing all the confidences while they were printing crores and crores of money. How? Fans followed every movies, commercials of these celebs with those unnatural appearances.. Who benefited? Them. Fans have got every right to question, its upon them if they bother to be offended or not. Make it simple. Nobody questioned late 60s, 70s actresses about how they look since they were always natural and didn't use any tactics to look unnatural.

First and foremost if you are going to be in the public eye criticism would follow. Ash has not been the same post pregnancy and instead of her accepting or brining that to light she has been pretending and here by no means she represents beauty or grace or charm of India. Agreed that it’s age but still if you choose a fashion platform to show off expect the criticism. She has gained weight and gotten work done. Let’s stop saying haters or shamers. Has Ash ever came out and acknowledged that she has gained and cannot seem to lose it? That might have garnered more empathy from women across the world and support for what she is trying to achieve on the platform.

Since the host is comparing men and women, I have to point out that most men never have the need to appear younger than they are, and veer towards botox and other youth enhancing remedies. So there is nothing to troll about men. Otherwise, social media is a means for every person to provide opinions on anything that is public. It's not meant to bully anyone in particular. Public figures who make money off public appearances have to be prepared for compliments and criticisms.
I know of many celebrities who choose to stay out of the public eye because they don't want to be constantly scrutinized by the public. Every celebrity has a choice to make.
