Adam is self taught. He has only gotten better with the years. He did a Drum solo at he concert I attended last year. He is so fantastic. I have watched this so many time I can hear him breathing. He makes music when he breaths in and breaths out. Adam Rupp is his name and he and his brother started Home Free together. there were 3 different members who moved on, First one to come aboard was Rob Lundquist he is the teddy bear with the beard he is a tenor. Then Tim Foust who is a bass with a 5 octave range. Then came Austin Brown. In the old video's he has such a baby face. He looks like he might be 16. Now with the beard he looks older. He is a high tenor. Chris Rupp who is a baritone left the group . He now has a gospel career and his own acapella group. He was replace by Adam Chance who goes by Chance so as not to have two Adams. He is a baritone / bass. If you would like to hear Chris Rupp and Time Faust do a song together watch and enjoy the song Long Black train. Tim Faust and Austin also have their own site where they do solo work and Adam Chance has a site too. Enjoy your ride down the Home Free rabbit hole. This Home Fry ( fan) says welcome aboard.
Adam Rupp is amazing!!! It’s just him and the mike doing drums. Well, you don’t need instruments when you have Adam! Super talented man! Good reaction!😄🤩
Love Adam Rupp & his insane talent. He is the best out there in my opinion. He simulates the sounds of a drum perfectly. Many drummers have commented on how good he is. He sounds so realistic. His breath control must be crazy. I heard he makes the sounds both while inhaling & exhaling. This was a few years ago & hard to believe but he is even better now. Adam is the glue that holds Home Free together. He is their secret weapon which other a cappella groups can't match.
Adam Rupp has been beatboxing for 23 years he is self taught. When I think there isn’t a sound he can’t make he always surprises us with something new This is older video he was so amazing then but he sooooo incredible now. He does a looper / beatbox solo in the middle of all their concerts . All the other guys can beatbox and make some sound effects ( like guitars and juice harp ) but there is nobody better than Adam imo.❤😊
Now you'll be paying even more attention to the " music" in the background of the Home Free videos. They can all do a but of beatboxing and some instrument sounds. You might like to see their 9 to 5 Beatboxing Breakdown. It's another fan cam video like this one but it's an example of their sounds. Thanks for the Home Free reactions
Adam Rupp is a world class beat boxer/vocal percussionist. Home Frees' secret weapon. The most astounding part is not just the huge variety of different sounds he can replicate, but his musicality within the Home Free performances is brilliant. He's been honing his craft for over 20 years and he just gets better and better all the time. Currently he uses a looper in his solo sets at Home Free live shows and creates what I call "beat box symphonies". He's a beast. Love, love, love Adam Rupp! Great reaction.
He does seem to be improvising part of the time but his performances are also carefully crafted compositions. One of the things I love most is his great sense of rhythm.
Adam is PHENOMENAL!!!! Tim says he is the magic of Home Free. Check him out in their cover of the Doobie Brothers song Listen to the Music and with Christmas coming up check out his arrangement of their cover to Do You Hear What I Hear? He's not only a phenomenal beat boxer but he has a naturally beautiful tenor voice.
Adam Rupp's beatboxing is truly incomparable. In this drum solo he doesn't show off his 'no-monica' (to really see that watch their video "Workin' for a Living"). Regardless of their being acapella, they all can play instruments - most of them play piano, Austin also plays guitar as does Chance, Rob also plays saxophone and Adam plays drums, trumpet, piano and just about anything else he picks up!
The incomparable Adam Rupp--beatboxer and vocal percussionist extraordinaire!! Home Free's secret weapon❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ I don't know that anyone has ever actually publicized Adam's range, but I sincerely believe his is the widest vocal range of all the Home Free fellas 💕 And if you want to get a good dose of our amazing HF beatboxer singing, check out "Guilty Pleasures Hilariously Derailed". It's a longer video but SO worth it! #AdamRupp
Adam Rupp is such a vital part of homefree. He is basically the pan that holds all those delicious voices. While Adam is dropping a beat you haveTim Foust ,the dark long haired bass voice sounding like bass gutair. Easy too mistake homefree as using instruments if you dont know them

Great reaction and I agree with you beatboxing is underrated. Adam Rupp is one of the best in the world 🌎. I love him and he so funny as well.
Adam Rupp is Awesome
Adam Rupp has been doing this for over twenty years now. That is a lot of practice.
Tim Foust (bass) did the introduction.
Adam Rupp did that all just by beatboxing. He studied trumpet in college.
🤷🏻♀️

You need to react to Home Free 9 to 5 Live Beatbox breakdown.
Look at the Asylum Street spankers if you like instruments.
