Love the video as always. I can't lie, I was getting a little envious watching you work with 3 tractors loaded with implements! Keep up the great work. Your videos are helping me wither away my wife on not letting me get a tractor!
Man, taking a trip down memory lane. I have been binge watching some of the older OWTM videos. I have seen most of them twice or more already but i like to go back and watch these just to see how much things have changed. And, there is absolutely nothing worth watching on regular tv anymore.
What an awesome trailer and land plane, the tractors are great too but you showed the trailer and plane at it's finest. Keep up the good work and great videos. Always enjoy them, thanks again. Back to sleep for me.
It was nice to meet both of you at the Jeep Invasion. Hopefully will see you around again soon. Another awesome video. I have never used a land plane but it looks like it does an awesome job with the loose material on your road.
That is pretty sweet, I called my buddy to bring a load of gravel, then called my other buddy with a tractor and a land plane, between the two spend few hundred bucks, and drank cold beer while admiring my 1000' laneway getting done, it was beautiful LOL
I really like that little dump trailer! If I where you I would have hooked it to the RK55. Years ago I pulled a 3000# hay rake with a tractor that weighed 5800#. And going down hill on gravel it almost got me killed. On hilly hay ground I had to be very careful. My dad told me the tractor would not handle it but I told him the salesman said it would. The following summer I traded for a bigger tractor. I am not try to be a troll I just do not want to see some get hurt or killed!
Really want to see the what the RK24 cut quality is like. I cant tell you how much I appreciate your videos and my wife and I are about to move into our first house with a little more then an acre on it. I cant afford a zero turn and a tractor so I'm really hoping the mowing ability of the rk 24 is solid enough to mow with it on a regular basis along with other chores. I'm in northeast ohio so it will definitely be a year round machine if I'm able to get one. I'm just dying to see the video of the RK24 cutting grass... hell I'm close to the PA border and when I'm into on Duty (Deputy Sheriff) I'll come over and cut the grass for you to see what it's like Haha. But a video is fine. Thanks for all the great content.
Love the video.....I myself am looking at a tow cart to carry, but I think I need something smaller. I have a compact Massey GC2300, but I think I need to haul the stone with my ATV since my "road" is starting out as "nothing" in the woods, and too rugged a landscape for the tractor. (and a bit too wet too w/o the gravel....)
If you put a set of short chains or a chain across that only lets it swing out so far on the bottom of the gate, you can spread a longer run on the amount in the trailer. Just like they do with dump trucks. Just a helpful hint.
Great work. If you are ever in Michigan I could use your magic touch on my drives and two trackers. I've got a box scraper on the wish list to augment the blade and rakes.
That little RK24 is a tough little machine, and very handy. Everybody with property needs two tractors. I have the RK55 but would love to have the 24 as well. Good job showcasing them. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great work once again! I am looking forward to getting my own small property and was thinking 30hp range for a tractor but you have me seriously considering that little RK 24 instead.
hi Mike mellisa ,Hunter, missed this one ha,like the wagon,I'm just trying fix my jeep has a powersteering issue bad pump or a blockage a mechanic said gettin fixed soon chilli here in ohio 40s ok later mike
Mike, new subscriber here. Really enjoying the videos (binge watching lol). I'm from south western PA as well, southern Indiana county. I have an '05 simplicity legacy xl with the little diesel and 3 pt hitch with rear pto. I'm really liking the RK 37 being I'd like to step up in size. My only down fall is I wish it had a mid pto for a belly mower. Don't like rear finish mowers and can't afford a tractor and a mower. Thanks for the videos and keep up the good work.
Mike, can you show how to use the chain to adjust the tailgate to spread gravel? I just bought that trailer and haven't even unloaded it from my equipment trailer yet! I was thinking the chain could only be used to drop the tailgate like a pickup truck. It would be nice to adjust the swing. Thanks
You have that right Mike that little trailer is great and boy you got to give all 3 a workout to day ! but looks great keep up the great videos ! Kioti Curt :-)
Hi, love the videos. I have this same trailer but it only has the line to the hand pump and I’m trying to figure out how it’s setup from the factory so I can switch to my tractor remotes - back and forth from manual to powered w/tractor. The manuals online don’t show the circuit but they show two hoses and I have only the one from the pump to the cylinder. The cylinder spits oil out the vent when it hits the top so guessing I’ll need to replace it or loop it back.
Nice set up, but I would really be interested in seeing the loading of a walking beam trailer when you only have one tractor. I have an old dump wagon with a single axle (former pick up chassis cut down ). If you load it wrong ,over it goes.
that's a sweet little trailer, but how do you fill it if you only have one tractor, can it be done? I think I'd have just backed it into the pile as far as I could and pushed the limestone into it -)
I just have a technical question. When you planed the road to the firewood, you only planed one direction and then backed up. Why not turn around and plane the other way as well? I would have done that because I am cheap and would want to do it quicker, in my mind. It may be that I am not correct in that train of thought. Would that spread the gravel unevenly, or make the road wider? Thanks and keep bringing the videos. I do not have an acreage but love to learn new things and dream a little. You give both in your videos. Thanks again.
You always seem to drag your downhill driveways down first? Is there a reason why? I’ve always drug mine uphill first to try and put the material back where it came from, them finish grade. Thanks.
Hey Mike, awesome videos! Are there grease points for the axle of that trailer or are they a sealed type? I've wanted that trailer for a long time now, would love to see a close up of the walking axles.
Our family is here in the suburbs of South Western PA on 8 acres with two Massey’s GC 1710 and 1726e. MFTractorfan, my email, means Massey and Ford. Moving a lot of dirt and building fairly big walls. I am new to you and like learning new techniques no matter what color the tractor is. That said, I have no interest in having my own channel, but if you would like to have extra material for your site, perhaps I can contribute. Or maybe even someday doing a feature by feature in person on red tractors with different names. Nice videos, thanks for the lessons and techniques. God bless.
Is that actual dust coming off of the dirt while you are using the land plane? I haven't seen dirt dry enough to produce dust in what seems like months!
Land Plane cuts cleaner and smoother, Box blade carries more material with it. So the way I see it is this. If you have a decent driveway with a good amount of stone and it just needs reworked occasionally? Get a land plane, If you have a driveway that gets heavily rutted? Get a box blade. Make sense?
So Mike, it's been a few months into this adventure with RK and their equipment. I ask; if you could reset the time machine to pre-Kubota, and know what you know now; would you buy a the RK over the Kubota?
I usually stay away from things like "which is better", "this is the best, this or that" for two reasons. One is there are tons of tractors out there that I never spent a minute on or even looked at so I can't say what is the best tractor. The other reason is people will say "oh you are just saying that because they gave you free tractors" But I will say this, I have about 100 hours combined on these three tractors, not one problem, not even a safety switch which I had numerous problems with the kubota from day one. I will also say that all three have exceeded my expectations by far, the RK 37 is way more tractor than the 3901, More lift (much more), more comfortable, more stable, and all around a better "feel" if that makes sense. Add in the standard rear remotes, loaded tires and many more comfort features, and I would say yes, had I known then what I know now I would buy the RK 37 over the 3901. I didn't even talk about the price yet, the RK 37 comes loaded up and is less expensive than the 3901 which is the economy model kubota.
We have a saying amongst friends that "The Man Who Dies With The Most Toys Wins". I think your well on the way to a win Mike. Is it my eyes or was one of your cameras having trouble focusing? That RK 24 sure is little when seen from above. Thanks again.
Question Mike- What would be best box scraper or land plane if I'm only buying one piece-should it be the width of the tractor??? Im doing the same thing your doing in the video Thank You Bob Tackney
I just copied this from another guy that asked the same thing. Land Plane cuts cleaner and smoother, Box blade carries more material with it. So the way I see it is this. If you have a decent driveway with a good amount of stone and it just needs reworked occasionally? Get a land plane, If you have a driveway that gets heavily rutted? Get a box blade. Make sense?
As busy as you are I'm surprised you get as many videos done as you do. And in your defense, you didn't specify WHICH Friday the woodstack video would come out. :)
Mike you’re right that land plane does do an awesome job and that dump trailer works great too. Cool video 👍❤️
Très belle vidéo
Très beau tracteur et très bien équipé
Très beau travail 👍😀
J'adore 👍😀❤️
J'ai passé un agréable moment
This is like every kids dream. Just playing around with tractors. Plus every adults dream of nice level drive ways haha. Nice work good video.
Love the video as always. I can't lie, I was getting a little envious watching you work with 3 tractors loaded with implements! Keep up the great work. Your videos are helping me wither away my wife on not letting me get a tractor!

Im liking that trailer, Mike! Glad you are seeing the advantage of the land plane. It’s a great finish tool for the gravel drives.
Fun watching some of the older videos
These videos are so enjoyable to watch. Thanks for taking the time to make these Mike.
You got the gear and you're using it well. Making a big difference on your property and it looks good!!!!
Wow, it looked like a lot more than a ton and half in that trailer. It sure did a great job hauling.
What an awesome trailer and land plane, the tractors are great too but you showed the trailer and plane at it's finest. Keep up the good work and great videos. Always enjoy them, thanks again. Back to sleep for me.

Nice meeting you and your wife as well! Hope to see you again sometime
Looking good Mike! Love my land leveler aka Land Plane! Looks great. The dump trailer worked very well
Great work Mike!
You are sure using the heck out of all those tractors and implements. That RK24 is quite the little beast.
It is and quick as well
You pulled off the tractor trifecta today, great video Mike.
That is pretty sweet, I called my buddy to bring a load of gravel, then called my other buddy with a tractor and a land plane, between the two spend few hundred bucks, and drank cold beer while admiring my 1000' laneway getting done, it was beautiful LOL
Job Well Done!! 👊

Agree, I didn't have anything steep though here
That land plane did a real nice job on that drive!

Great video once again!! Good work, i hope we can see some firewood video soon with that new stihl, i kind of miss those 😉👍💪
i hope i can have some cool tools like this awesome video

Great video!
The ultimate 3 tractor solution!!!
Really like all your videos. I've use some techniques from your videos. I'm working on getting more attachments.
A+ on the road Mike. Nicely done.
Love the little trailer looks very useful.
So neat and tidy Mike
Nice job.
That little dump trailer might be handy right now.
Sorry i did not get to meet you. I had a great time at the jeep festival. Great video
That little dump trailer looks nice. But for my money I would rather have one that I could take on the highway.
handy trailer good job

gonna get spoiled having three tractors!
Strong work.
Got that drive looking good for the party next month!
That little RK24 is a tough little machine, and very handy. Everybody with property needs two tractors. I have the RK55 but would love to have the 24 as well. Good job showcasing them. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I just subscribed and I’m loving your channel keep it up!
good job. thanks.
Great video.
Nice having the right tools huh.....
Great work once again! I am looking forward to getting my own small property and was thinking 30hp range for a tractor but you have me seriously considering that little RK 24 instead.
Love your videos, you must make a whole lott of money to have all that equipment.lol
hi Mike mellisa ,Hunter, missed this one ha,like the wagon,I'm just trying fix my jeep has a powersteering issue bad pump or a blockage a mechanic said gettin fixed soon chilli here in ohio 40s ok later mike

Love the hat and shirt
great video Mike ,I think that the trailer might have a safety margin built in (it says 1.5 tons but might be closer to two tons).
You have that right Mike that little trailer is great and boy you got to give all 3 a workout to day ! but looks great keep up the great videos ! Kioti Curt :-)
The rk24 must have some strong hydraulics on it. It was lifting that type 1 fairly easily. Another good video mike 👍
If you put a steel drum at the back in the middle when you tip your stone only goes where the wheels are , saves material
Top tip there
I was always shown with a hay bale... And you can adjust it to the width...
Would there be any reason to use a roller to compact gravel like this on a driveway?
Hi, love the videos. I have this same trailer but it only has the line to the hand pump and I’m trying to figure out how it’s setup from the factory so I can switch to my tractor remotes - back and forth from manual to powered w/tractor. Do think the trailer could fit bigger wheels?
Nice set up, but I would really be interested in seeing the loading of a walking beam trailer when you only have one tractor. I have an old dump wagon with a single axle (former pick up chassis cut down ). If you load it wrong ,over it goes.
The Trailer is cool, but to use it effectively like you do, one really needs two tractors.
Sure was hot in PA today, I was dripping bullets shoveling dirt.
that's a sweet little trailer, but how do you fill it if you only have one tractor, can it be done? I think I'd have just backed it into the pile as far as I could and pushed the limestone into it -)
Good video as always. Who makes the Rk and who will service it ?
Mike where is the rear work light turn on on a RK 37 with no cab??in Ocala Florida
Ps. It’s 78 here beautiful day

Like the video mike .

Being wet does not help crush and run any when it comes to smoothly tailgating it. Hope y'all are having fun at jeep fest.
@ 10:00 , where did you get little tool box on your left frame?
You always seem to drag your downhill driveways down first? Is there a reason why? I’ve always drug mine uphill first to try and put the material back where it came from, them finish grade. Thanks.
So how does it lift? You connected it to the tractor and then just the regular lift lever or is there a special button? Sorry never used one.
Sure wish I had your money!
Hey Mike, awesome videos! Are there grease points for the axle of that trailer or are they a sealed type? I've wanted that trailer for a long time now, would love to see a close up of the walking axles.
I will give you a better look in next video
BAM!! #100!
Your better watch than wranglstar

Yea but its over now lol, been raining on and off since last night
How can someone in NY get a trailer like that shipped here? All the stores are a days drive away!!
Hey Mike, that trailer looks like it has independent suspension on both sets of those wheels instead of just two axles, is that right?
Yes Darryl, its like a walking axle
why did you only use the plane in only one direction on the gravel road?
whats the big difference between box and land plane?? which would you get if could only have 1..and why

Outdoors With The Morgans it sure does!! thanks for quick response and great videos!!
Thumbs up
So Mike, it's been a few months into this adventure with RK and their equipment. I ask; if you could reset the time machine to pre-Kubota, and know what you know now; would you buy a the RK over the Kubota?
I think that is an unfair question Steve, we all make the right choice with hindsight, I am quite sure he has changed his mind about the cabin though
I usually stay away from things like "which is better", "this is the best, this or that" for two reasons. Will that land plane work good on soil? Such as if you use a tiller first and then come back over it with a land plane.
Haven't used it for that but many do and I hear it works well, I don't think you would have to till it though first
We have a saying amongst friends that "The Man Who Dies With The Most Toys Wins". I think your well on the way to a win Mike. Is it my eyes or was one of your cameras having trouble focusing? That RK 24 sure is little when seen from above. Thanks again.

Thank You Bob Tackney
How would you load it with only one tractor?
Are you got it fixed up you got to looking good
👍
Mike have you ever tried quick hitch for impliments if not check it out do a video
Not yet
I’d like to order one. Anyone have a coupon code for Rural King?
Do you have a video RK 19
Another great video Mike. Is the trailer for off road use only?
Yes, Off Road
Problem. How to fill your trailer when it is already attached to the tractor...... solution buy more tractors!!!!
In your opinion which do you prefer land plane or box blade? Thanks Mike
Make sense?
Perfect. You did an awesome job. Looks great.
Still using this?
Ryno line that box
too much friction for materials to flow out.
Another enjoyable video, but I was waiting for WOODSTACK 2018. Is it Friday yet?! LOL
D.A. Ballou, working on it lol
As busy as you are I'm surprised you get as many videos done as you do. And in your defense, you didn't specify WHICH Friday the woodstack video would come out. :)
Why so many tractors why not get 1 decent one with plenty of hp and and compact for grass cutting
Sion Mcdonald, you have some catching up to do on videos lol, start at video 124
I know this is old but what ever happened to this trailer
ti moc nepotahá za něj bych už dal 6ti tun
