What a treat! I love you and Andrew being lit in a lit pub by yourselves 😂 Beautiful cinematography, love the music. The cow drama and horses reaction was priceless. Your channel is a gem. We who have found it are extremely lucky. Spreading the word. Thank you. 😊🤗 Kathy
In a boat on the canal there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet boat, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy boat with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-boat, and that means comfort...❤😅
Wow thanks for the super video and fond memories. When I saw that giant mound it reminded me of my favourite boat name "Wi'mopson" and there it was 12 years later in the same spot :) Cheers from Cape Town South Africa
What an awesome video perfectly depicting the country life idyll … Your ‘tongue in cheek’ commentary😂 and the gorgeous cinematography just takes the videos to the next level👌Can’t wait for the next one ☺️
This brings back a lot of memories for me. I used to fish at shakerstone and surrounding area as a kid. I have been living in Norfolk for the last twenty years, so thanks for bringing back the memories.
Your vlogs are fab, I really look forward to seeing them! I love how you show all the pretty villages, can't beat a lovely walk to the pub, it's so annoying when the pub isn't doing food but I love that you enjoy a pint and a bag of crisps.....you're my sort of people 👍The calf in the horse field was quite stressful lol, omg, I wouldn't have been able to sleep if you hadn't seen it get back thru!!!😂 Not much atmosphere in the pub with no people, but still nice, your drunken walk back to the boat was brilliant 😂 loved it.
Shakerstone has another charming feature that you missed. It’s got the station for the train rides, with a Victorian tea room. You don’t need to take a train trip to enjoy the tea room.
Love the video. It should be titled : The towny discovers the countryside, and has fallen in love with it " Glad your having a great time. Cheers Milly
Perfect Wes Anderson setting ,should make him aware. Thanks for another amazing vid. Boat time sounds like a wonderful place to enjoy life at a pace to actually have the time to enjoy nature, and be able to have the time to even notice the whole horse/cow debacle. Thanks, enjoy life in boat time.🙋🏼♀️
Boating Time? Lol I laughed. We used to do canoe trips with scouts along the river and bivouacking at night in the riverside woods. We introduced expedition time. We would be asked by scouts, what time is breakfast, lunch, finish for the day? Our response was always we are on expedition time, we eat when we want or see a nice spot, stop when we have had enough, and camp when we see a great place. Our watches were all packed away deep in the kit, the only time they appeared was the final afternoon when we had to be at a pick up point at a particular time.
A scattering of Dandelions. Just idyllic. Beautiful cinematography. Love the music and sound balance. Thank you for sharing. Was the farmer/tenant told about the hole.
Another Triumph Kris - in fact you have an actual Triumph in the video, and a Norton plus two lovely Yamaha's.... add that to the Suzuki Bandit looking unloved on the tow path in an earlier episode and us bikers are getting real value for money... even Honda get a double bubble bit of attention in this weeks edit via that "accidental" lingering on the back of the boat - twice. Think of it Kris, a whole new revenue stream is opening in the form of Product Placement.... you could easily be a spokeswoman for Guinness (and a Slurswoman for whatever cider company that was)... and Andrew must have a role to play for the British Consortium of Parka Makers. Highlights - other than the sublime music (AGAIN!) was the ongoing rental appraisals and the drama of the lost cow - The Archers have got nothing on you two. A couple of minutes with real tension and suspense counterpointed with humour and triumph (bloody Triumph again!). I bet Chris Packham and Michaela Strachan are not sleeping nights now! .... Whatever the length of the episode they all seem about 2 minutes long and the library of music keeps growing. Remember man cannot live by Cider and Crisps alone - but its fun trying! - take care.
Just realized you mentioned sipping cider, which is our favorite beverage. Much less popular in the States. Last time we were in the UK, about 5 years ago, we discovered Kopparberg Cider ... so good! Very limited distribution here; not in our area. Boo.
Thank you! We have a couple of Fuji bodies (XH2 and XH2S) and a variety of lenses to mix and match. Actually haven’t ever had a go pro, but I want to get one as it would come in useful I think!
0:40 wow, what a beautiful place. The grass looks like carpet. So beautiful that your brain rejects it as reality 😳 have you watched that episode of Cruising the Cut where David Johns shows a green field off to his (left hand) side and states that he’s found the location of the Windows startup screen? The image is titled “Bliss”, and is the default computer wallpaper of Microsoft's Windows XP Your greener than green field with sparkling white sheep reminded me of that. Both locations just don’t look real, but David’s XP location is extremely surreal. Thank you for your beautiful, cinematic adventures. 🙂🐿🌈❤️
OK Im running out of compliments. Just beautiful cinematography and story telling. Nice to see Andrew become more comfortable in front on camera ( just my impression) . On a completely different note, how do you feel about Booker long list?
This is the first time in a few years that I haven’t read a single one on the list so far! Study for Obedience looks right up my alley though. What are your thoughts?
Oh no! Bad timing. I’m off to a children’s birthday party (superhero themed), but I’d much rather would chill and watch your vlog! 🙈 It’s gonna be my “reward” later, but I hope my ears haven’t fallen off from all the screaming.
"how much in London?" is one of my favourite parts of your videos 🤣
I have really grown to love your channel as you too move and learn in your new life on board. Great stuff and thank you for posting.
I really enjoy watching your vlogs. A very different style to anyone else! Which is refreshing to watch.
So kind of you to say, really appreciate it! ❤️
"Always drink responsively."
Got it. ;-)

Aw, that’s lovely!
The calf drama alone deserves an Oscar honestly 🐮❤
Haha thank you Masha ☺️

Always a treat to watch your content you guys do such a great job of conveying boat life with your masterful cinematograph 👏
It’s my absolute pleasure, thank you for watching 🥰
I love your fashion sense it’s an updated take on the “come on Eileen” music video

Such a beautiful depiction of a glorious day on planet Earth, I’m sure EVERY day is much the same! 😉 Bravo! ♥️🐚
Someone's drunk with a torch! really enjoying the London property prices bit as well.
I can’t believe you’re binging the vlogs, this is surely too much of me back to back
@@krisatomic honestly I needed knitting motivation to finish the nightmare baby sweater, and it worked!
💯

Ah great to know for next time!!
I needed something joyous today, thank you.

Hahah, you’re not wrong, that could be my whole channel 😂 Thanks Milly!
what a feast of joy you both present in capture (although of course there was no feast, that'll teach you for being so blumm'n wonderful)

I wish Wes Anderson would do a movie about narrowboats. Imagine all the visuals! The characters! The humour! 😍
Absolutely love your mix of fun and stunning cinematography combined with the perfect music choices ❤
Thanks so much! 😊
Great life to lead indeed!
What a beautiful place! I was so invested in the calf drama but how intelligent were those horses! I hope you found food too. ❤
It was amazing, they really dealt with it! I think we made a pasta at home eventually, all good ☺️

Thank you! 🐄❤️
Brilliantly done as always. Thanks guys. 😬
Thank you 😄
Another gorgeous video. 😊
Thank you! 😊
It’s like Swing Swong the days are long - bliss. If I get a boat I will call it Swing Swong learnt from your narration xx
Perfect.
Thank you once again.
Another wonderful video .. loved the Guinness … …. had to laugh at your walk home from the pub 😂😂
A scattering of Dandelions.

I'd be hopeless. I'd never want to leave there. The canal police would be after me. 🕶
