While I've got you - an upcoming vlog is going to cover our battery/electric upgrade, so if there's anything you'd like to know about ⚡POWER⚡on our boat, just ask!
What a gem of a channel. I've binge watched your videos since stumbling across your channel a couple of days ago. Incredibly stylish and really helping my decision to take up a life on a narrowboat.
I thanked you in a previous VLOG how much I appreciated your photography and vivid colors, but I failed to mention how much I enjoy your choice of music on videos. Thank You!
Can I just say that your voice is sooooo sooooothing? I just love listening to you. I’d love a “books I’ve read while on the boat“ instalment, as your taste in literature is top notch! Lovely vlog as always, thanks so much. x
Another cinematic delight whether its the quirky angles, the slow mo shots, the soundtrack or just the sense of fun throughout. And well done to Kris on the steering and navigating the locks for the first time. I would be cr***ing myself in your crocs.
Your turn off the Ashby was brilliant. And don’t apologize for using a bow thruster. Use what ya got. Anyone that says otherwise is jealous they don’t have one or theirs is broken.
This was great. The gloves are such a good idea, and will go well with his grabber. Matilda attempting to do cat yoga on Andrew’s back, cow stretching, ducklings doing a kamikaze attempt at the boat. You did a great job of steering the boat! Lock gate cam POV, scone cam, and especially the Ryan Geeslings , they are like little geese. 🤣😂 Loved the heron flying. Enjoy the marina, and thank you. 😊🤗 Kathy
what i would give to hear muffin Matilda's reaction to your admonishment as she was dispatched back indoors honestly bleep, bleep, bleep meow bleep oh & in other news that pylon shot will get those pylon lovers salivating... well done bothlies ! but not as fabulously as the muffin of course 🐈⬛
Listening to The Jam - 'A Town Called Malice' & bopping away while cruising @ 18:09mins ❤... Hmm, the fact I recognised that shows I need to get out more... 😂
As someone who is hoping for the same life my questions regarding your upcoming vlog would be about cost and options and why you choose one thing over another. Loving your vids!
Down the weed hatch - or "A man with his pole" - another lovely episode Kris. The first truly pivotal shot for me came at 09-52 and the juxtaposition of pylon, pants and park home (forget the Renaissance and the Golden Section THIS is where art reflects life!). Thence the scone debate - (I pronounce it scone and not scone)... until at 12-57 you casually show a Volvo P1800 gently being devoured by undergrowth. Men (Moore) of a certain age will recall a certain Mr Simon Templar when being presented with this modern classic. Then what I think was a Porsche 924, a Dropside VW Transporter and, finally, what I can only assume was a Ferrari Dino kit car at 13-11..... why do people join specialist car web sites when they can simply chug down a canal and be presented with classic after classic? - after that I "swear" I heard someone say "did you get the f**ed up paddle?" -- but surely not... I'm now already anticipating the next action and profanity filled episode and perhaps a stock take of Andrew's braces... surely like Joseph he has many pairs (and colours) ! - take care until the next time.....
Action and profanity filled might be our genre 😂😂😂 interesting to know about all the cars, thank you! Beyond love your comments, as always, you get it!!!
Fabulous to see Matilda is well settled in to boat life. Does she get onto the roof herself or was she lifted up? I would have ramps and steps everywhere so my cat would be able to get wherever she wanted. Fantastic cinematography as always, I love all the fluid water movement shots, so relaxing when watched along with your soothing soundtrack. The Jam excepting of course!
She is settling in very well to being a boat cat! She gets herself lifted up usually, but she’s very vocal and expressive about it when she wants to go up 😂
Where did you get those gloves? The cuffs look great for stopping your arm getting wet. Just need to get a blue jumper so that I can match so perfectly with them...
It is flat bottomed, yes! But also I think I’m quite an aggressive steerer 😂 sometimes it’s about the angles as well, since I’m steering from the back of 70 feet of boat which pivots somewhere in the middle and locks are often on a weird angle.
Your videos are so incredibly aesthetic and beautiful and thoughtful. The jazz on this one really threw me off though. Doesn’t quite fit the narrowboat life or the countryside views.
That’s totally valid. Music is sooo tricky and personal, I always just go with what I’m vibing with in the moment but also always looking for the next great thing. It’s def a process, but I really appreciate the feedback. Funnily enough I genuinely hated jazz until I was about 30 and then something just HAPPENED haha
On the contrary, I loved that music. I just flowed along at boat speed just nicely. I think MsRabbitt still has a way to go appreciating good jazz. @@krisatomic
@@krisatomic Completely agree and I know how hard it is when you’re editing something too because you’re trying to capture the feeling of when you were filming and the overall tone of the whole video. I just love your videos & editing so much and honestly your music selection is always top tier. I think it’s just cos in my head I associate jazz with more city things and less countryside things. 😌
While I've got you - an upcoming vlog is going to cover our battery/electric upgrade, so if there's anything you'd like to know about ⚡POWER⚡on our boat, just ask!
Could you perchance put ALL of your vids in order in a playlist to make it easier for newbies like me to binge? Thank you.

You’re too kind!! 🥰
I thanked you in a previous VLOG how much I appreciated your photography and vivid colors, but I failed to mention how much I enjoy your choice of music on videos. Thank You!
I really appreciate that, thank you!
You have the BEST music.
Thank you very much! 🥰

Thank you so much Claudia! I’ve been itching to do a book-y vid for ages, I’ll try to work one in!
Love your videos , another great adventure and great soundtrack as well, thankyou
Looks relaxing.
No accidents, nobody falling in. 😊
😂 we’ve been doing well on that front, touch wood!
@@krisatomic 👍for the viewer some excitement would be nice though.
@@nickd33 still lots of excitement, just without thousands of pounds of water damaged gear 😅
@@krisatomicenjoy your journey wherever it might take you next.

Ahh thank you, really appreciate that! Haha, that’s why you wear the crocs 😂😂😂
You have a perfect, relaxing narrator voice, holy crap lol
That’s very kind, cheers
Your videos are beautiful and I love your choice of music. I look forward to more of your vlogs.
Thank you so much! 🥰

Cat yoga 😂😂😂 thank you Kathy, have a fab weekend!
Mathilda has become a boat cat! Sitting on the roof, prowling the stern, supervising debris removal from the weed hatch.
She really has!! 😽
Libertines nice

Love your stunning videography ❤
❤️❤️❤️
Fabulous as always. So professional and I always love your choice of music. xx
Thanks so much 😊
Formal request for a boat-Matilda update. I know she has the capacity for chaos, so I'm very curious how she's doing with boat life.
AS ALWAYS pleasing lunchbreak with my knitting and your video
Just love that music. I'm not a boat person but your steering is looking good to me. Well done that girl. Cheers Milly sue
Thank you 🥰
Jammin’ to TheJam with scones and jam! you guys should publish a cruising playlist.😂
I could do a cruising jams playlist!
💯yum ...the whole enchilada... nicely done

Oh you can only imagine, shouting and screaming, the injustice of it all etc etc. Nothing that cat hates more than a closed door 😂
I mean you always have stunning visuals, love the caption comments too, but where do you find such great music!?
Thanks so much! I use Epidemic Sound, and then lots of trial and error!

Need to get out more? Too much going underground? 😀

Jog on Matilda! 😅 every shot you take is amazing. Is there anything more English than narrowboating down the Ashby with a scone?
Haha, very true! Thank you as always ❤️
You could always try cream scone jam lol😂
That’s the spirit 😂

Nice steering, Kris. I notice there is a lot of rudder action - even when going straight ahead. Is that because a narrow boat has no keel?
It is flat bottomed, yes! But also I think I’m quite an aggressive steerer 😂 sometimes it’s about the angles as well, since I’m steering from the back of 70 feet of boat which pivots somewhere in the middle and locks are often on a weird angle.

We’d only have to fish it out if we did 😅
