My deck was solid, sadly I didn't draw my three mana 6/6 a single time but you got good draws (and the dice roll!) with the Hatcher 2/3 games :) Anyway, GGs and congrats with a nice run! 2nd pack pick 2: I haven't seen the rest of the draft writing this but if I were in your situation I would take the itzquinth as well. Green was the most open in pack 1 and that late Idol might have been a signal for red as well.

I've seen Lola doing it. When he has 2 losses on draft 1, he concedes the following matches to give the opportunity to others. I just assume that's what opponent 1 did

24:53 Why not kill their Phantom so that you can flip the seedstones the next turn? In the rare scenario that something goes wrong, I would think that has a greater chance of putting you on winning the following turn.
When in doubt open the single best rare in draft ;)

I wonder how Wizards explains scenarios where 15-16 lands are drawn consecutively in draft
While extremely uncommon such things do happen over a large enough sample size.
By explaining the difference between a random distribution of cards every time a deck is shuffled, against the human understanding of what is a statistical average distribution of cards ... These are clearly (and proven by countless 'experiments') not the same thing. ;)
When I hear you saying that everybody hates to take Black cards, I understand why you hate this format. It is because you don't understand how Black is good. My favorite color in the Format by far.
And you can have a wonderfull deck only with common cards.

The chances of drawing a card or milling it are exactly the same as you always draw a card at random. In fact, milling is generally better as you can have access to graveyard recursion (which is batter than draw 2 cards for example)
