Lila, you have the best podcasts!!!!! Every one of them is awesome!!! When i reverted back to the Catholic Church Mother was the first book i read, and then another one...and another one. I was hooked on her love for Jesus. I adopted her habit of putting the words "I thirst" next to our crucifix on the main wall in our living room.
What a beautiful testimony about Mother Teresa. Thank you. I'm viscerally angry about the terrible treatment the world is offering the dying. Mother Teresa is truly a saint for our times. Pray for us, Mother!
MS LILA.- Love u (a lot), but I respectfully HAVE TO implore you to STOP wearing tight tops on yr programs!!! You know BETTER. You wont have more following by wearing tight tops. Please, make sure you read the book "Dressing With Dignity" (by Colleen Hammond)... You can't be a practicing Catholic lady and be wearing tight clothing; it just doesn't match. Please, we know you LOVE the Most Blessed Virgin MARY; please look at Her. I'm in no way trying to judge you, but I think it's an act of charity towards you and towards ALL THE MEN who watch you on the internet, etc. Your are a CATHOLIC public figure. Plus, you are married. And even if you were single, Ms Lila, tight clothes lead men to SIN. We can clearly see your breasts through the tightness of the clothing you are choosing to wear. Please, prayerfully consider this. God's blessings to you. (PS: what would Padre Pio tell you about this? There's your answer). PLEASE & thank you, kindly. Mamma MARY, please help us to have the virtue of modesty interiorly and exteriorly, amen.
Thank you Lila!! You always bring incredible guests to your podcasts. Always encouraging us in the fight for life. You, us mother Teresa, are defending the most vulnerable of the society

She was such a formidable yet humble woman! Formidable in spirit through her obedience to God. I've never met her, but I love her as I met and volunteered with many Sisters Missionaries of Charity over the years. Her charism is permeating their work: humble service to the poor, all for the glory of God. What I've learned from them, "prayer and sacrifice," that's what the Sisters often say... ❤

Just from the intro I can tell you have a real devotion to Mother Theresa. I’m certain that’s going to make for a great interview, since the questions from a devotee about a Saint will always be better than any journalistic or historical investigation, because it’s a matter of heart. May Mother Theresa continue to intercede for Live Action, your family, and yourself!
Thank you, Lila, for having Jim on honoring Saint Mother Teresa. It's horrible what people say about her. John 15:9-11 As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Remain in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. “I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete. and "John 15:12 This is my commandment: love one another as I love you." is written on Saint Mother Teresa's tombstone. Prayed to our Lord Jesus this morning for help that we all see His face in every single (and married!) person from the moment of conception onward, no matter his or her life story, no matter what he or she has done, or what has been done to him or her, through the intercession of Saint Mary Teresa (originally named Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu, and she's the patron saint of Missionaries of Charity, World Youth Day, and a co-patron of the Archdiocese of Calcutta, alongside St. Francis Xavier) I'm not saying he's on Saint Mother Teresa's level, but Trump's also a very caring person for children, and please pray he defends the dignity of life more from conception onward, and I think some people who claim to be Christian have hardened hearts against seeing the face of Jesus in him when referring to him as "lesser of two evils." I have my "I voted" sticker on my desk and have signs! I carried Trump's signs previously, and was so excited to vote for him early! Did you hear Trump's bringing up the 325,000 children again at Madison Square Garden, which he mentioned at the Miami, Florida "Latino Americans for Trump" event with "Sound of Freedom" producer Eduardo Verastegui (who you had on your podcast and I'm looking forward to his Mother Mary movie!) speaking about the border and the 325,000 children? I don't ground my identity in political party, and I think it helps to see the face of Jesus in everyone. I strive to ground it as a broken sinner adopted son of God through Baptism Catholic. Already things are so rough in our Catholic Church. I don't understand the purity test when Church leaders aren't representative of Jesus imo. If I had to consider myself belonging to any party, my Common Sense is tingling for- In Rochester, NH, Trump's response to being a Conservative was "No, I don't care. It's, like, doesn't matter. We are the party of common sense..." God used King Cyrus as his instrument, and King Cyrus did not share the faith of the people, but God used him to help the people go back to their holy land that God had given them. Isaiah 45:1-2 Thus says the Lord to his anointed, Cyrus, whose right hand I grasp, Subduing nations before him, stripping kings of their strength, Opening doors before him, leaving the gates unbarred: I will go before you and level the mountains; Bronze doors I will shatter, iron bars I will snap. Trump's my all time favorite celebrity besides J.R.R. Tolkien and Saint Mother Teresa. I liked his, imo, humble saying, "We live in a world of miracles. None of us know God's plan or where life's adventure will take us." “Gandalf put his hand on Pippin's head. "There never was much hope," he answered. "Just a fool's hope, as I have been told.” -J.R.R. Tolkien, The Return of the King and two quotes since she's the star of this podcast- "Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love." “If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other.” -Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta and a Bible verse she referenced- Isaiah 49:15-16 Can a mother forget her infant, be without tenderness for the child of her womb? Even should she forget, I will never forget you. See, upon the palms of my hands I have engraved you; your walls are ever before me. Thanks again, and hope you Lila, your family, and everyone here has a light-filled peaceful joyful blessed week!
If his wife is the same woman, Sr Katrina when she was with the Missionaries of Charity I was in the same group in aspirancy. My religious name was Sr Margaret. I left before final vows. My name is Lisa Leopold. I spent time with Mother as well in NY, CA and a month in Mexico. She was very present and she was also human. I love that we don't have to be perfect to be a saint but that we love. I am a wife and mother of five children. I remember seeing the National Prayer Breakfast on TV. It was something to see the expressions on their faces. FYI, little story about the night before. Mother kept her vow of poverty very seriously. A couple of the sisters took her sari and habit and prepared a new one. They ripped the old habit. Mother was upset and asked them to stitch it back together and that was what she wore at the Breakfast.
Mother Teresa’s facilities, particularly in Calcutta, have often been criticized for providing substandard care despite her mission’s vast financial support. Witness accounts, including those from volunteers and journalists, describe facilities where even basic medical supplies were limited, and patients suffered without proper pain management. In many cases, morphine and other pain-relieving medications were withheld, reportedly because of Teresa’s belief that enduring pain was spiritually valuable. Patients were sometimes left in severe discomfort, as the Missionaries of Charity focused on spiritual care rather than alleviating physical suffering. Dr. Robin Fox, who visited one of these centers, noted a lack of trained medical staff and basic hygiene, with inadequate methods for infection control, contributing to unnecessary patient suffering. Given the millions in donations received, the neglect of these patients’ physical needs suggests a disconnection between her public image of charity and the reality within her centers.
I remember that she died the same week as Princess Dianna, and so you heard almost nothing about Mother Teresa. Such a shame that a life full of sacrifice and love is overlooked, but her reward is from God, and you can't get better than that❤
My stepdaughter has rejected God . She mocks Him and catholicism. Often sharing verh blasphemous memes. She also says shes a them. And likes girls. Are there specific prayers we can pray? It seems like this is a common spirit attacking the youth about gender.
Pray the rosary every day and offer it for your daughter. Don't give up coz it's spiritual warfare. Our lady take care of her, will enlighten her heart and mind.
Thank you for having Jim on! He loved his time with Lila and the team. Keep up the great work.
