"I'm not sure why but I abandoned this project when it was 95% done..."
Story of my sewing life.
Everything looks so lovely! I would love seeing you late victorian clothing as well!
I’m definitely one of the girls that loves the regency era because of Jane Austen. 😅 My next project is one and then probably an outlander inspired one. I mostly sew cosplays but your closet is inspiring! I live in Washington as well and would love to try an event this summer after the virus is over 💖
Goth-Y Saque Back Gown and Garden party Saque were my favs.
Your closet is so cozy!
Yay, you have a youtube channel! I love following your work on Instagram so I was so excited to see you now have a channel! And wow, you have so many historical costumes and they are all so pretty!
The dress right before the led dress is so pretty and wearable! 😍
I’d love to learn more about that style
I love closet tours as well and do not see them very often. Thank you! You and your dresses are lovely--and it is so amazing that you have made all of these gowns in about two years! Wow!!
The 1840s dress is my favourite. I love it so much
The 18th century black gown is stunning and my favourite. The mask needs to be black too, though. The 18th century yellow gown is beautiful also, it's a great colour for your hair and skin tone.
I absolutely love your black sacrum and makes me want to tackle one I have been on the fence thinking that all of that wonderful trim would not stand out in the black but yours obviously busts that myth. All of these are truly gorgeous
I adore every single one of these gowns! I especially love the navy velvet dress
This is so inspirational! I want to get more into historical costuming but I think having to make the undergarments is stopping me. It seems like so much work to get started. My favorite eras are anywhere from the bustle eras through Edwardian. One of these days I will make a lace filled Edwardian dress and walk through a field a la Lucy Honeychurch. That’s all I want out of life.
Edwardian is a great place to get started! I actually just worn an off the rack corset for almost a year in order to avoid making the undergarments. Not perfect but I think most people couldn’t tell it wasn’t exactly right.
The first dress is looking excellent and the jacket from the 18th century.
Your closet is so enormous! I'm quite jealous!
Yes!! I have been following your instagram ever since I saw a news video about your famous butterfly transformation dress
Blissfully beautiful gowns and I Love your version of the chocolate girl outfit!
Love the gowns.
Omg that was amazing!! My favorite was the yellow 18th century one. Soooo beautiful!!!
i have two petticoats ive had to add a strip of fabric to, to make longer, i love how when you do it and look far away, you can't really tell its there
Omg! Love this closet tour! So unique! Make more vids please! 🌸😊
I love the 1840s green day dress!
INCREDIBLE!!!!
I love the 18th century dresses. I like the Dorothy picnic dress. I muke the green day dress 1840s. Cute disney theme dress too.
No, you're not the only one. I love it
i LOVE your closet 💘
I knew you were American! Only an American could love Victorian design so much. You are an extremely skilled seamstress
My dream clothing
Congrats on the new channel! ❤️
Thank you so much!
Your dresses are beautiful 😍😍😍
You need to have a picnic in a beautiful park with a wicker basket and a photographer:)
Picnic dress + ruby slippers= 18th century Dorothy
If you like it well enough.
Then you might as well wear it for no reason but that in public places also for the fun and excitement of it.
That blue check dress would fit in with an Alice in Wonderland event. You really should have had your hair in a bun or some sort of updo as Historically women over 18 did not wear there hair down as that was common and even the working class adult women wore simple type buns of become Gibson girl hair addicts. Having your hair up also shows off the dresses better as we can clearly see the back and front without the hair getting in the way, probably easier when changing all the dresses too always has been for me.
Woww
❤️❤️🤗
What's the name of that adorable silk sleeved thing you have on 🤩 oh lord i need to make one 😁
Picnic gown? I think you mean Dorothy. That dress gives off mad wizard of Oz vibes
Is the pink regency dress made with the American Duchess simplicity pattern? I feel kind of the same way as you about regency era, but I definitely want to make some regency things because there are way more regency events around here than anything else.
WhiteHeather82 oh my go, SO MANY REGENCY EVENTS. I love the historical costuming community, but I really wish it were a different era that had gained popularity. Really the only reason I have regency is so I can go to the events.
Where is your couch from?
For the first split second I thought you were petting a tame sheep
