They've done it, they've bloody done it! Great to see back out Rod, I knew you'd be a fan of Threads. You should totally do more filming even when going for a walk, love hearing your measured thoughts as I'm sure many of your subscribers do. I've even thought of a name, you could call it 'Thoughts from the Forest' and give us a blast of what's pi**ing you off each week haha. Take it easy mate.
Don,t worry folks he is fine. It was just the village chippy going up in flames. He drove passed mine yesterday, at a steady pace I must add. Take care. Cheers, Ian
UA-cam really didn't like this video, no notification, not in my recommended. Only noticed when I checked my subscription list. 😂 I guess you're not woke enough for the algorithm 👌 & that's why I watch haha. Set bell to all notifications now.
I grew up in the 80's so I'm watching this unfold & am like 'Oh, so we're doing this again are we?' When you grow up with the threat & fear of nuclear annihilation it gives you a kind of resilience like no other. Anyhow, good to see you out & about again. The jets don't bother me as I'm an an aviation fan so welcome the sound. But for anyone who isn't & who wants to camp without the noise, then plan the camp for Friday evening through Sunday ( and bank hols) as they don't operate during weekends. Well, not usually. My last camp had me wake up on a gloriously sunny Friday morning to the sounds of F35B's flying the pattern around Marham. Loved it!
In general the jets don't bother me either, I quite like seeing them. It's just when filming it frustrates me sometimes having to wait for them to pass over due to the noise.
I bought a pile of bricks from a disused factory because I figured there may be something of value underneath, luckily for me there was a DIY nuclear fallout shelter underneath. I’ve set it up on the roof of the tower block I live in. When the nukes do start dropping I’ll be as safe as houses.
He is alive! Threads, yes I've seen it over the years. It's a bit graphic for most people these days. I recommend it to snowflakes who are scared of their own farts and offended by the smell. I was serving in South America at the time. You wouldn't even know there was anything in the world but jungle. Nasty place. But makes you stronger and hardy. Those cardboard box homes are everywhere.
in the 60s and 70s we lived off the orchards and vegetables in the fields, whats happened now is no orchards and not much in the fields due to importation from europe.our government relies on imports now and not self sufficiency like we did after the 2nd world war that taught us a lesson.these mps now dont remember them times and to them its all money money money
Another awesome video man! That scenery looks beautiful! You'll have to check my channel out! I do tons of truck camping with my pup in my overland f350 setup! Keep up the awesome work!
Nice to see you back mate 💪🏼 another quality video glad your doing good 👍 I don’t think anyone is quite ready for a nuclear fallout but don’t think it would come to that. Hope to see you a lot more during summer 🏕⛺️
Great video as always, if anyone is considering watching Threads, heed Rod’s advice and make sure you’re in the right frame if mind, but if you’re interested some of the protect and survive videos are in youtube too
That's ok, sorry I was a bit bewildered. Was in a world of my own at the time. Was nice to meet you as well, put a smile on my face knowing I've brought a bit of enjoyment to others.
Must have watched Threads 20 times or more. It's classic dystopia. It's a bit unfortunate that Britain has such small land mass, because there's not much chance of being outside a blast radius.
If you can't carry a fixed or locking blade whilst camping, where would you feel comfortable? Seriously, cops wouldn't have a leg to stand on, the desk sergeant and CPS would want the hassle, you could claim unlawful arrest. There are meets around the country where groups of people walk around with fix blades, Funky preppers meet at church farm for example, in theory the cops could visit/try to arrest us all
good to see you again. i really love your talks and just hearing your thoughts, you dont get that a lot on these sorts of channels and honestly i find it very interesting and really look forward to it. thanks for the upload
Great to see you posting again and as ever you covered some interesting stuff that's on most people's minds. On UK Nukes. I live at Balloch Loch Lomond which is about 8 miles as the crow flies from the Faslane base where the UK Nuke subs are. The base is only 20 miles away from roughly half of Scotland's population. An attack on the base is unthinkable! I reckon if the UK nuclear deterrent was based on the lower Thames then support for it would be at levels we have in Scotland for it. It's nothing but an expensive vanity project and a few hundred UK nukes on 3 subs ain't going to make Putin sweat. Only 2 nuke superpowers in the World, Russia and the USA and both know what MAD means. All our deterrent does is put half of Scotland's population in the sights of a crazy despot.
No it doesn't we didn't have them you would be gone or enslaved but with both know commie Stergeon would bend over for global communism in a heart beat
Have you been watching Canadian Prepper, he's video titles are just like that. LOL I like Nate, his heart is in the right place but he needs to take a leaf out of other preppers books like yourself.
I doubt what you said about alerts to mobile phones is true, if the owner puts it on mute or airplane mode, I can't see how they can change those settings remotely.

@@OregonMikeH Yeah a lot of trees came down around here in the roads. By other countries standards it wasn't that severe but for the UK and our fragile infrastructure it caused problems. Though wind in general tends to mes up my audio when I try to film in it which is frustrating.
