It's a very important win most of all psychologically for the team . I believe we will now see the team getting more points they were tested in that match and they found the willpower and willingness to fight it out . This will bring the club closer together and make us stronger .
Super game, super vid. Terrific performance from every player. Superb use of subs in a busy week. Danny uses his squad like a modern rugby union coach, with his starters and replacements, with the team regularly improving after substitutions. Love it. Enjoy the break. I’m sure you enjoy doing these but I’m sure it’s loads of work. 👍
Another great review of the game. I remember going to Coventry as a kid in the 80s and someone chucked a full bog roll at my head, plus someone snapped the ariel of my Dads Astra, he was fuming. 😂
Certainly a worry. If they in the relegation spots come January it's not hard to imagine them trying to offload some high earners and recalling the kid.
@@sheffcam4960 think so mate, Danny’s learning to mix it up, sometimes an ugly win is better than a beautiful defeat so it’s great to follow his progression as a gaffer! Keep up the great work mate, see you on the next one x
Cheers for this review. I really do think Beadle was unsighted for their goal. Watched it a few times now and there’s two Wednesday defenders between him and Rudoni and I think that’s why he moves late. IMO. I hope YOU enjoy the break ; the time you devote to presenting these reviews is hugely appreciated.
Was sat in buddies bar in inglemells next to 2 Coventry fans ( dad and his lad ), when they scored his lads eyes lit up and I got a rye smile from the dad. By the 93rd minute I looked at the TV and up pop the score...Wednesday 2.. Coventry 1, his lad looked fallen and nearly burst into tears so I just said to the dad, tell him that by the time he gets to our age he'll get used to disappointment. Went down like a lead balloon and they just stormed off 😂😂😂😂😂. If only he'd been a Wednesday fan for 40 years he'd get used to disappointment...anyway fantastic result and we'll deserved WAWAW 😊😊😊
Watched the game and your analysis is bang on. In particular that half time whistle really came at the wrong time… we had grown into the game and looked very impressive. To be honest I thought Danny would be able to get us going like that again after the break, but as you said - they turned it up, not us. Both our goals were excellent however, and we certainly deserved a win after the Luton/ QPR results . Still plenty of work to be done in training however . But the doctor (DR) is well aware of the need to improve.
I was beginning to think we can’t compete in this league after the inept performance against Sunderland and Leeds. But since then we have slowly morphed into a team that is started to show that we can really dig in and at times play some terrific stuff. Well done to the manager for spotting the frailties early enough to stop the rot. Another good analysis of the game pal 👍.
I like Valentin. Similar to our lad Danny McNamara at Millwall. If he could cross he'd be snapped up by a Premier league team. My worry about Rohl is he might tinker too much rather than play a settled side. Enjoy the win.
Love it Jimbo love it my man, by the way, my 1st away game was Coventry at Highfield Road aswell, my uncle took me and me younger brother, would have been about 11 years old at the time, 1993/94 season, boring draw if I remember rightly but as a kid you're sort of just buzzing to be part of the occasion ya know what I mean Jimmy man. Anyway love the videos as always Jim, I'm hoping to get tickets for the Burnley and Swansea games, feel like Danny's got us mentally and physically on the right track, up the owls, all the best Jimbo x
Deserved that Jimbo, in my opinion. Done a proper job away from home, we're worth more points v the Os and hatters. That was a leveller. Gassma can beat a player, and ingelson has legs.
Keep it going SheffCam; I love your reviews, you always speak as a true fan but very balanced with fair comments for/against Wednesday; I always smile at your openness and honest opinion, top notch buddy
Hi Jim, Voice reason yet again, spot on review. Great squad performance, 7 points out of possible 9, will take that all week long. Still room for improvement, but when you consider the value of the teams we have played recently compared to ours, you have to give Danny & his staff credit for the way they have improved the group. A break now and chance for everybody to rest & recover and come back full of confidence for the next batch of games. Enjoy the International break. Phil.
Thanks Jim, we seem as a team to be coming together, I didn't expect a win at Coventry. Also like to see we can grind out a point ( bristol ) while not being on it. Long may it con3, just worry that we may lose charles in January, he has made the difference.
Only saw highlights but from what I can gather Wednesday played really well...they were tough they were high energy they were direct at times they looked a solid championship outfit...steadily making progress under danny...next season we really might be able to do something if we keep this manager and the nucleus of the side together
My only trip to Coventry's old stadium (Highfield Road) was certainly memorable but for all the wrong reasons. It was an F.A.Cup replay in the mid-70's during the Winter of Discontent as it was known and because the National Grid was being affected it had to be played mid-week during the day as the floodlights were not available. I remember standing at the away end, getting absolutely soaked as there wasn't much cover for away supporters and we lost 0-3 and had our coach windows put through by bricks thrown by Coventry hooligans on the loose. So we were also cold as well as wet on the return trip. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
I went down, great game to watch. Love those injury time winners! Fans went nuts! Felt we deserved the win. First half we had some good chances. Gassama caused them allsorts of problems. For me Famewo, aha, gets MOM. Had a good start to season.
Good round up mate . I still think Charles won that tackle fairly. But the Coventry player twisted his knee in the process. I will watch it back cos not herd any one else say that 😂. Big 3 pts 👍
Aye, he's done his ligaments apparently and is looking at a weeks out. Mind, he'd kicked Gassama from pillar to posy first half. Live by the sword die by the sword...
agree on the international break, really annoying. Also agree on the melancholy for Charles...would be so great to be able to keep him. Like Poveda (last season) he's a game changer for us, but also sadly out of reach.
Maybe one day... Mind you, looks like we swerved a bullet with Poveda. Barely kicked a ball since going to Sunderland. Would have possibly had another Abdi on our hands.
@@sheffcam4960 That's crazy...I hear you, I do, but he was sooo good when with us for that short time. Had that something special. Can't believe he cannot get a look in at Sunderland. Maybe was a case of just gelling better with the Owls 🙂
Whatever DR said to musaba after the last international break then he needs to say it again the lads just won us 6pts in 3 games due to better decision making 👍🏻 4 games in 10 days coming up after so a well deserved rest is needed ...if I was the owner I'd take them all on holiday to somewhere sunny because they really deserve it they've been brilliant this last 5 games .
Luck went our way for a change. Wonder when we will get a penalty. The only thing that worries me about Beadle is that he parries or punches the ball away too much. We nearly paid for it during that game.
Aye, seems to be the way with a lot of modern keepers. To be fair to em, I wonder how much of it is down to the swerve on these 50p flyaway balls they use these days!!
As a blade. well, done Wednesday. West Brom was a great performance. All setting up for a good game when we meet.
Wow. Refreshing to hear a positive message from the dark side.

Certainly a worry. If they in the relegation spots come January it's not hard to imagine them trying to offload some high earners and recalling the kid.
A really positive week, onwards and upwards mate and great job as always x

No worries!
Always easier to do after a win!

ref only gave stuff in midfield for both teams. didnt want to know round either box. onwards and upwards
Actually , now you've said it that's a great point

Ironic that their goalscorer controlled the ball with the same part of the body that Dishon Bernard employed at Luton!
