    List of ingredients
    Scent leaf ( 2 handful )
    Palm oil 1/2 cup
    1 medium size onion
    2 tomatoes
    1 red bell pepper
    2 tablespoons of crayfish
    1 dry fish
    Salt to taste
    1maggi
    Serve with rice, yam , potatoes, plantains etc.

      I think scent-leaves are the same as basil.

      @@melb.1241 I don't think they are same as Basil. In Sierra Leone it's mainly used as herbs. It's boiled and drank as a medicine. It could also be cooked as a sauce as we cook Spinach.

      No it will taste bad, use spinach, kale or collard greens if u live abroad. U can combine them

    Madam, be truthful. This style cooking is a typical Ghanaian recipe, the only thing you change was the coco yam leaves to scent leaves... most Nigerians doesn’t eat this food, except those who been to Ghana before.

      That is not correct, my illiterate grandma cooked this food in the village in the 70s and 80s and she never heard about Ghana.
