      @Mark-hr9dy Місяць тому +9

      @@blkMafiaManThis had nothing to do with Alaska Airlines maintenance department it was all down to Boeing and it’s outsourcing of quality control to Spirit AeroSystems to increase profits. Alaska Airlines flight 1282s plug door failing was due to not having the bolts installed at the Boeing factory. Boeings Stan Deal and Dave Calhoun both apologised for the failing of quality control and took full responsibility to bolster inspections and increase QC checks. Boeing were reassessing the deal with Spirit AeroSystems bringing inspection and maintenance back in-house. So yes the OP is correct, as for engines disconnecting in flight the year is only half way through so plenty of time left for Boeing to surprise us. As for StayLiner no matter how you sugar coat it it’s a piece of shite! And to think Boeing kicked up a fuss when SpaceX were chosen by NASA as the other Commercial crew provider. Boeing complained that they had years of knowledge and design heritage and SpaceX was the inexperienced new boy with no heritage?🤨Wow! Imagine if it was just Boeing we would be still waiting for Astronauts to fly on a US built ship to the ISS. Held ransom by greedy Boeing and still paying nearly 90million dollars a seat on Soyuz.

      Yes, this is exactly what I have been waiting to hear. Developing better 'rationals' is a fallacy many if not most companies today fall into that often leads to direct harm or death. I know this to be true first hand in the medical device industry, and the regulating agency (FDA instead of NASA) has the same problem of prioritizing the protection of the shareholder and company reputation over the safety of the individuals most likely to be affected. No way, I recognize Sunita Williams. She made a few intriguing videos about her life on the ISS.

    Wow! Send up for only a week and than having the opportunity of your life of being up there for nearly two months! „Being stuck“! How great is that!

    A refreshing reminder of just how high SpaceX sets the bar. Boeing is years, if not a decade, behind what the crew dragon has achieved numerous times already…. Reliability. It’s a parallel like when watching Lionel Messi play at BFC, he made it look easy until you saw other big names struggle to achieve half as much. SpaceX made taking crews to the ISS and safely returning them easy.😂 It’s not!
    Props to SpaceX.
    The alpha of space.

    If there's something strange
    In your Boeing's Starliner
    Who you gonna call?
    (SpaceX)
    If there's something weird
    And NASA don't look good
    Who you gonna call?
    (SpaceX)
    [Chorus]
    I ain't 'fraid of no Elon

    Nice and comforting to see that both are still healthy enjoying lives in space. Hence there is no urgency to bring them back as earth is overcapacity too.

    I don’t understand why the media goes easy on Boeing on this issue? The press isn’t pressing.

    It feels like NASA and Boeing don't want to admit the Starliner is garbage.
