U dont have to wipe the pc haha just go to re-image and go to a file change the name then continue to windows 10 then press the cmd button down the bottom then type net user enter then type net user name* enter then type ya new password then enter then retype password then done then login easy

Instead try this: Shift + Restart Advanced > Command Prompt Insert these commands in this order net user administrator /activate: exit Now go back and press on continue to windows 10 Login as administrator Open up command prompt as admin and run these commands net user (username of the account you want to change the password of) * then type a password (may not show it) and retype it if asked to now log out of administrator and log into your main account before finishing open up command prompt as admin again and run this command net user administrator /active:no You should be all done

Thank you. I wasn't able to keep my files but, truth be told there is some minor damage to my computer, possibly preventing me from being able to keep my files choice. That option would not delete my password, BUT I was able to reset my computer by removing everything and that works for me. An excellent solution to a temporary problem 😉👍 just waiting on arrival of my new 2 in 1 computer. I'm able to perform task that are necessary and very important thanks to your knowledge 😊. You follow the steps. The Reset this PC blue screen appeared And It asks me to choose an account to continue And it comes back with a request to enter the old password that you forgot!
