- Change the way you lube with the @MakitaToolsUSA XPG01 18V Grease Gun. We've all been there, holding the hose on the grease fitting while trying to pump and hold the grease gun at the same time. You either need a pet monkey or a third hand to make it work. With the cordless grease gun from Makita, you only need to pull the trigger. Up to 10,000 psi and a variable speed trigger, you can dispense up to 10 oz. per minute. These are available as a bare tool for $239, or you can get the XPG01, 2Ah battery, and charger for $299. Makita includes a 3-year warranty on the tool.

I just picked one up on Amazon for sale at $163. Thanks for the review.
Tools Tested another you tuber put the Makita up against 9 other brands including Milwaukee and Dewalt..Makita came out on top. This review sealed the deal. Ordered one today.
Great video. Just purchased and needed to understand the Ins and outs. This video did a great job showing me what I needed to know.
I'd love to see @AvE get his hands on one of these.
love the my Makita grease gun! The new cartridge will stick out a bit...just insert whole spring loaded holder in and push n turn till thread catches. Works like a charm!!!
Just undo blunger & turn it around (or push plunger out end of cylinder & insert the other way around)as it was set bulk grease, not cartridges
I got it back in July. Have been using 5 to 6 days a week. And most days it's 1.5 tubes a day some days 3 tubes. Greasing anything from a skidder to bulldozer to a excavator. Mostly muddy conditions. Personally I love it. Battery life is really good. And always unscrew the tube a few turns before pulling the handle back. And yes it's a little aggravating with the tubs not seating all the way down but I have gotten use to it now.
A Makita 18v grease gun... It's about time!! Better late than never, I guess.
Yes, great video. Would be great if you did a comparison with other beands, such as Milwalukee, Ryobi, Ridgid, Dewalt, Lincoln, Bauer, etc; and, one that I see getting quite good reviews... the HART! Thank YOU!
Hello Tim.. long time no writing but watching your videos
I wonder how this one compares to the Metabo grease gun
Hi Tim, this is very interesting and impressive, Mikita put out a very good tool with this, much better with luging around the huge lube Mechanical barrel lol,
I just have a small diesel triple grass cutter,, would this be an overkill for greasing the machine ?
Do they offer this in a 12v and/or 40v model now? I’ve had great experience with the 20v Dewalt but I would like to try this in the future for a change .
Anyone got a solution for the cartridge not fully inserting? I'm having the same problem on mine!
Ok..excellent
I got one.. I love it, only issue I had was grease was getting on the backside of the plunger.. swapped it out with a plunger from an old hand pump gun and fixed it. Haven't heard of anyone else with this problem, they might have forgotten the rubber bit on assembly and I got unlucky, either way no biggie
The shop I work at got one used it steady for a week and it died.. Wouldn't pump grease or do anything with a new battery. They gave us a new one and we will see what happens with the second gun.
Just got one today. $140 at tsc.
How common are grease fitting on cars and light trucks now a days? My '65 Corvair has several. I don't recall any other cars I've owned having them.
