Hi Misty, after watching your video I checked out Sweet Corner Cafe and it did not dissapoint! Unfortnately they ran out of chicken so couldn’t try the chicken and waffles. But I got the Gyoza with noodles, Spring rolls with salad, and a tart. All of it is ono and I want to go back for more. Mahalo for sharing this amazing restaurant.
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to actually go and try their food! I am so glad you enjoyed the dishes that you picked. I hope they do well because I thought the food was worth coming back for again! Thank you for watching my channel. Have a great week.🤙
This is awesome Misty! I live just below Camp Smith and haven't heard of Sweet Corner Cafe or Bombuchaz Lunchwagon. Maybe I'll try Sweet Corner Cafe this Sunday. I used to frequent Heights Drive In so I remember the Heights Special. Ani's lilikoi butter filled rolls are bomb! My wife likes their pastrami sandwich. How about Ige's in Halawa Industrial? They're only open 6-1 weekdays.
Misty you are definitely finding those hidden Gems in Hawaii ! Mahalo for sharing ! Awesome sharing their delicious foods ! I Love good egg tarts ! Wow! gimme some of that chocolate croissant ! Onolicious !
Dang. I usually only go to Halawa for Ani's Bakery, but I want to check this place out for sure. Good thing I don't have claustrophobia getting to that Cafe! Lol. But the food looked fantastic! I made those Portuguese egg tarts, and they are so labor intensive!
Well now, I did in fact check out Sweet Corner Cafe Sunday night. Chelsea is so sweet! At night, Halawa Valley Road can be a bit spooky but I was able to find the place without much of a problem. Tried the ribs with fried rice, tofu poke bowl, a couple of their dan tans (custard tarts), and got an iced vanilla latte for my wife. Everything as you said, Misty. Delicious! And like I said, Chelsea is so sweet. I hope they make it in Halawa.
Yes Chelsea is so nice! I'm so happy you went out of your way to go there and try it. Also I'm happy you enjoyed her food. I really think their food stands out and I hope they make it too!
Wow Misty!! Everything looked delicious. Sweet Corner Cafe looks like such a cute little spot and the chocolate croissant was a nice way to top off the meal. Bombuchaz Lunchwagon definitely has good portions with affordable prices. We’ve heard about Ani’s Bake Shop but didn’t have time to stop by. Sooooo many places such little time and stomach space!! Loved the video as always. Mahalo for taking us along another tasty adventure!!
Wow! Some of those hidden gems are really hidden. Halawa serves some really delicious food. I've never had baked spaghetti, and I'm old as dirt. Ani's looked awesome. Have a great weekend!

I've been searching and sampling noodles from all over the island trying to find anything as good as the Heights. So when u mentioned some ppl said the noodles from Bombuchaz was as good that really piqued my interest. Def gonna try it. I also loved school lunch baked spaghetti. For some reason not even the cheesiest, freshly baked, hot n steamy, fresh out the pan baked spaghetti beats that room temperatured, dry, condensed, solid scoop of school lunch baked spaghetti. With all your friends sitting around u asking "u going eat your bread?" 😂😅
Lol I was the one that gave away my bread because for some reason the rolls at my school tasted junk and had a strong yeast smell. But you can't have my spaghetti! 🤣 I never got the chance to try the Heights so I'd love to hear your thoughts.
OMG Their noodles really is almost like the Heights. I went there today (Wed) so I could get the Wed special baked spaghetti also, which was also really good. But my family and I loved the noodles so much they're making me go again to get more on Friday. 😆 I'm so glad u reviewed this place bcuz now I finally found a replacement for the Heights noodles.
