To this day, it amazes me how much the player's presence in the plot of Battle City screws things up for the main cast. You end up defeating a bunch of opponents that were supposed to lose to Joey and Yugi. You bump the order around in the finals in a way I won't spoil. All the protagonists just kinda suffer to make room for you to be the hero.
