Two thumbs up! I have been reading about Ms. Werner's adventures in HSD for years. This was a great video summing up the sentiments of the sustainable harvest by flood and by field! As an anthropologist/ archaeologist, I loved that she quoted Margret Mead there at the end! Nice work to everyone who participated in the making of this video! Sincerely, countrymanforager.

Funny story, my uncle is commander of SEAL team 8, and he was on a mission in Vietnam. I don't remember all the details, but he was in this small, all concrete, foreign "restaurant" with his squadmates. The owner of the restaurant comes out with an octopus about 6 feet in length, and he challenges my uncle to kill it with a single bite. Coincidently, a week before he had watched a scene on television where a man demonstrated how to kill an Octopus with by biting it. So he takes the Octopus, which is of course wrapping its tentacles around his neck and arm and looking him dead in the eye, and bites it right between the eyes. The owner of course was impressed since he assumed my uncle didn't know what he was doing, and then all of the squadmates took a bite out of the Octopus. He said it tasted like a shoe.
