The original scope of the game was a roleplay/reenactment game, but we have expanded it to also include a separate FPS game. The full release NML is planned to released within a year ( sometime between October 2023 and October 2024 ). The RP build will release quicker, as it requires less resources. 70% of the game's progress have been made in the last 6 months, with a 3-man team ( Airzac on scripting, Swiv on animations, Ack on animations/modelling). The game will officially be released under Fragile Entertainment. 3. What will the RP look like? The RP version will follow traditional text-RP conventions, with narratives being playerled. This section will be dedicated for people who care about reenacting the grittier and specific aspects of WW1. This game will require basic historical knowledge, writing skills, and imagination. This mode is not for everyone. 4. Why a RP, won't that just take resources from the FPS game? Fragile Entertainment has and will always cater to the Roleplay community. We find that RP is better suited than FPS for playermade narratives and MilSim. Roleplay games also require a very low amount of scripting compared to other types of games. We understand that everyone likes RP ( unfamiliar people have this strange hatred for RP ), but we suggest that you treat this as a showcase. For people familiar with the RP scene ( talking about old school ATF-style RP, not generic frontpage slop ), this game will be a more accessible version of Verdun/A Soldier's Poem, with some aspects being toned down. 5. What will the FPS be like? The FPS build will be chaotic and "fastpaced". Many MilSim aspects like food/water will be removed for the sake of pacing. We understand that while MilSim aspects are nice, they detract from gameplay. If you want a MilSim, learn how to roleplay.

@@ripnob yeah but animation takes forever and the roblox animator is the most ass thing on earth. Moon animator is a lot better but still takes a lot of time but overall it came out pretty good. I think the animations are fine just it looks like for some there was motion capture but thats not a bad thign i wouldn't want to spend 10 years animating a 50 second scene lol.

In truth no. At the beginning of the trailer, it is clearly a reference to the film: "All quiet on the western front", but looking and observing more details, the game is more inspired by Battlefield 1 than the film itself.
This is a masterpiece. It combines all the good aspects of Roblox WW1 games, but makes it 10x more realistic, and very immersive. Fantastic job to Ack, who made this masterpiece, and I am so hyped for the release of NML! Can't wait to play it, and I'm excited for the RP aspect as well! Happy development :)

Not as good as the original, especially seeing as some of the original actors actually fought in the actual Great War, but I wouldn't call it rubbish. The tank scene in particular was undeniably cool, even if historically inaccurate. And I say this as a guy who's usually a stickler for these sorts of movies being as accurate as possible.

If I were to understand just from the trailer, I would say what it will be like (based on the trailer): a game that shows the land of the First World War, the lost generation, the map will be gigantic, everything controlled by Players, from artillery to infantry soldiers, I hope it has the same proposal as Shell Shock, where you spend a lot of time in the trench, and the attacks are always brutal, the community of First world war games, we're tired of games where you attack and die and that's all, we want what the first world war really was, like nothing new on the front I hope it's released Cell phone (so it could easily have more than 1k players) Where there would be screams like Centaura, and fluid gameplay like Entrenched, I hope they use the trenches a lot, and it's very realistic like it was in the first world war, where you can get traumatized playing Centaur type. (I'm going to give some tips that I would like in my opinion: a stopped game, as when an attack starts, everything turns into terror, the trenches are used a lot, there is a system of Fear/insanity, hunger and thirst, it was very easy to die, realistic war systems, having officers, or the general staff doing strategy)
I really hope the game doesn't turn out like entrenched, that game is way too arcadey, colorful, quick (not trench based at all lmao) and p2w for a Roblox WW1 game. Shell shock is really good inspiration though. I am awaiting the release of this game.

In game the guns should have lots of stopping power, when not including your character falling when shot most rifles should one shot to the body and nearly all guns one tap to the head, limb hits could have features like slower movement or slower weapon handling
I actually like this, after you've made all the guns needed, you should release the game and when your done making the other things, add them in afterwards.

This WWl trailer is possibly based on "All quiet on the western front" it's a pretty sad movie about German soldiers during WWl, and spoiler Warning during the movie he watches all of his friends die, and sadly he dies 1 minute before the war ends.
Every thing about this game looks amazing and exactly like real life but the stalhelms look a bit short with the part off the back off the neck and the visors it seems kinda tiny to be a M16 Stalhelm it looks more like an M35 from ww2 or m42
Suggestions: instead of when shooting somebody they still are running and fine, you should slow down the speed of the player when wounded and animate the soldier holding its wound while walking slowly.

This Can be a whole different game other than D-Day or any other games like Shell-shocked. The Game can feature Many of the Tanks from the First World War. Man Power (Your Lives before the Game Ends with The victory. This is not a very well or a good idea to do since there will be more people to fight and defend against.) Air planes (Bi-planes) can be featured as well. There is no bombers because it was only for dog fighting for Air Superiority. The Bombers role is to Assist the Ground troops at the Ground to break through the "No Mans Land" The "No Man's land" is the Death Zone between Machine guns. You can either Win by: A. Charge the Others trench Until they fall. B. Wipe out the Hostile Enemies by depletion of Man Power (10 M.P is given. When you reach 5 M.P, You can switch to Armored or Air Force. You get One try to support your team before you lose the Tank or Plane. Hull damage or Hull is your Health. The more damage that part sustains the more that spot will become weak. The only way that the Armored Divison can be defeated is by: Anti-Tank Mines or Grenades. There will be different Lethals. Your Infantry back-pack will store up to 3 Rockets, 2 Grenades. 4 Land-Mines. 2 Anti-Tank Mines and 1 Shovel. (Your Rifle or Secondary will not affect the Infantry Back Pack.) Lel

This WWl trailer is possibly based on "All quiet on the western front" it's a pretty sad movie about German soldiers during WWl, and spoiler Warning during the movie he watches all of his friends die, and sadly he dies 1 minute before the war ends.
Every thing about this game looks amazing and exactly like real life but the stalhelms look a bit short with the part off the back off the neck and the visors it seems kinda tiny to be a M16 Stalhelm it looks more like an M35 from ww2 or m42
These uniforms seem to be the old versions, as of now I am not sure if they have fixed it or not.

Suggestions: instead of when shooting somebody they still are running and fine, you should slow down the speed of the player when wounded and animate the soldier holding its wound while walking slowly.
Wow! As a person who loves ww1 and ww2 games on Roblox. I can say that this is probably gonna beat some of the best games like centaura, trenches, trench warfare, entrenched, d-day, etc. It has war is hell vibes like centaura, and trench development like trench warfare, and action like entrenched, and d-day vibes, and so many similarities to all of the other og games. So good work! And I’m exited for the release. Also I like how you have the all white on the western front 2022 opening.

This Can be a whole different game other than D-Day or any other games like Shell-shocked.
The Game can feature Many of the Tanks from the First World War. Man Power (Your Lives before the Game Ends with The victory. This is not a very well or a good idea to do since there will be more people to fight and defend against.) Air planes (Bi-planes) can be featured as well. There is no bombers because it was only for dog fighting for Air Superiority. The Bombers role is to Assist the Ground troops at the Ground to break through the "No Mans Land"
The "No Man's land" is the Death Zone between Machine guns. You can either Win by: A. Charge the Others trench Until they fall. B. Wipe out the Hostile Enemies by depletion of Man Power (10 M.P is given. When you reach 5 M.P, You can switch to Armored or Air Force. You get One try to support your team before you lose the Tank or Plane. Hull damage or Hull is your Health. The more damage that part sustains the more that spot will become weak. The only way that the Armored Divison can be defeated is by: Anti-Tank Mines or Grenades. There will be different Lethals. Your Infantry back-pack will store up to 3 Rockets, 2 Grenades. 4 Land-Mines. 2 Anti-Tank Mines and 1 Shovel. (Your Rifle or Secondary will not affect the Infantry Back Pack.)
