- Blenheim Palace in England, full tour. Let's travel to England (United Kingdom) and let's visit the spectacular Blenheim Palace which is a monumental English country house situated in the civil parish of Blenheim near Woodstock, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom. Blenheim Palace is the principal residence of the Dukes of Marlborough, and the only non-royal non-episcopal country house in England to hold the title of palace. Blenheim palace, one of England's largest houses, was built between 1705 and circa 1722. Blenheim Palace was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. Blenheim Palace is also notable as the birthplace and ancestral home of Sir Winston Churchill.

There aren't enough words to describe the beauty of this! As an American it always amazes me that these treasures are preserved through the generations. Thanks again Vic.
in NA we seem to want to tear down everything to build condominiums whereas in England and most of Europe they like to preserve the buildings. We can take a lesson from this.
Thank you for your wonderful comments!
Thank you for viewing my videos!
@@VicStefanu correction the library is not over 70 meters long its only 56 meters .
This place is a satanist temple not just a palace .
@@ageofechochambers9469 Ok, thank you for the correction! 👍👍👍
Thanks so very much for this video! We recently watched "The Crown" and saw a depiction of Winston and his help he provided to the Queen. I cried when he passed away! This was excellent ❤️👍👏🕊️

Very good video. I live not far from Blenheim Palace and been there many times. Very accurate. Nice!
thank you for viewing my videos!
Beautiful place, thumbs up for the ducks waddling along 😀
Thank you for your comments!
Wow, absolutely stunning. Wonder what it's like to have the money to build such a palace. Imagine what it took to heat that place.
lol.. my thoughts exactly, thank you for your comments!!
it was paid for by the nation after the first Duke defeated the French in battle. Also they still gotta heat it, the family still lives there.
Unreal. I can't imagine living there how they did 100 years ago. I have to see this when I go to England. How do you go about getting there if you don't rent a car? I'll be in London in May. Thanks for uploading!
Try to find a bus (from Oxford) to the town of Woodstock, the palace is next to the town
Did you ever make it to the Blenheim Palace
Beautiful vídeo, thanks, kisses for You.
Thank you!!
Thanks for this video, Vic, we can see here things, not available in other video's.
Some remarks on the outside of the building.
- 1:36 : there is a piece of wall above every arc, and not above the wall/"pillars". Normally you would think they would do it the other way around.
- 2:45 : the statue in the middle of the frame is in an alcove, but the alcove isn't nicely corresponding with the pillars to the left, the alcove is "tucked away"; a shame, because it is a beautiful building. Also seen in 3:37.
- 4:19 : cannons a bit small.
- 4:51: creepy eyes on the ceiling. Yes, could be a reference to God, but then you took only one eye. Looks like a drug trip.
Thank you for your interesting comments and for watching my videos! I had to look carefully to see what you meant regarding the creepy eyes at 4:51...
@@VicStefanu BTW you are talking around 2:55 about "Greek" Doric columns but the Greek Doric column had no 'base', "dropping straight into the stylobate or platform on which the temple or other building stood". However these columns are considered Doric.
@@dragonmartijn Ok, thank you! 👍👍👍
“Beautiful.” “Stunning.” “Wow.” This ‘guide’ needs a quick thesaurus jaunt. I keep dropping off to sleep! More facts, please! The tapestries look to be in good shape; very bright and well cared for.
Thank you for the positive suggestions, I always look forward to feedback from my viewers..
Go shoot a video as an example
Did they use stones or blocks back in the days? Caise the 18th 19th century buildings are beautiful.
They used heavy stone blocks here.......
I wonder how they went about dusting ceilings that high
Good point!
They ignored them for ages, then restored them. Very long featherdusters and ladders?
I'm not sure...is this a palace?
This is what the title of the video says.. Yes, it is a palace..
Thank you. Beautiful cinematography and outstanding narration.
@@dukeofhaas Thank you!
Yes it's actually called Blenheim Palace
Take shots Everytime you say Palace...
lol....
