Man I'm amazed how fast you resolved it 😳 I'm glad you don't have any real bad damage 🙏at those power levels there is always more risks but YOU da MAN!
Good time to get: the head ported Comp valve springs and buckets +1.25 valves matched to the seat. So you can bounce the boost off the limiter in safety.
Hey i am working on doing a 2.5l mzr port head and AEM swap on my ms6 this year. It would be a lot easier to bring everything into one ecu and set of injectors. I have talked with AEM and confirmed that we can keep the VVT and the AEM can control the rear diff solenoid. There are a ton of cams and upgrades because the Miata guys are swapping the hole motors into their cars.
Is this you, similar build that never got finished? Really hoping it works out. Troubled81 mazdaspeeds.org/index.php?threads/duratec-port-head-swap.11114/
love the content brutha...what type of aux fuel are you running and why?...im currently building my speed3 and going with port injection and im torn between doing a larger in-tank pump to run the port injection and stock di or a stand alone fuel system for the pi...i currently have a gtx3076 turbo...what are your thoughts?
The thing is, what caused it? I had intake valves melt twice in # 2 on a rich tune and built bottom end. I still have to take the motor apart..... again to find out why. Running a JDM motor right now.
I have a speed 6 and Tuesday morning I started up like normal and it weirdly shut off. and that mooring felt sluggish and I was worried it was going to break down. but I thought it was just because its cold. On the highway it made a thump and rps went to 0 and engine stated whirring pulled over and wouldn't start. throw up code cylinder 4 misfire and thought is was injector, sparkplug. took it home on a trailer and there was no oil. I had a oil leak and figured out that there is a hole in the block. I was told that by ProTech. Im screwed
So sorry to hear this Abdul. Wishing you a speedy recovery with the car. It's a good thing it wasn't as bad as you thought it will.

Thanks man, it comes with the territory
Sorry to see this man, Goodluck getting her back up and running again
Great vid man, I loved the teardown timelapse. Hopefully you can figure out exactly why it dropped the valve.
I love Abdul's dedication to his speed6. I cant wait to build my speed3 and hopefully my own speed6 someday! 😁
Fast car problems lol.. Get her back up and running!
Glad to see the damage seems to be contained somewhat. Crossing my fingers for you!
Mazda familia here for support G 🙏 sorry about the motor G
Just wanted to ask do you go over the oil you use super clean when you toke the valve cover off. Thanks man Great video

This is a fully built and ported head with all the goodies.
I’m about to rebuild my own motor on my Speed6. What head gasket are you using, and does it require you to have the block machine for that gasket?
Any idea what caused the valve to get stuck in the first place bro?
Hope to see her back soon! Definitely motivate me to someday fully build a speed 6 just gotta find one not as rusty ad mine
If you don't mind me asking about how much did it cost you to make all that hp?
How many miles did you get out of it before the valve dropped? I'm on stock valvetrain with no porting at 28psi so mines due aswell I guess 😅

Sorry to hear bro. Sort it out and you're good to go to hurting feelings again.

The setup is in my build spec video
watching this is dejavu for me

Damn bro :-( what would cause this to happen I remember you had a upgraded head. To much high rpm ?
What oil you use for you speed
I'm fixing the exact same issue, one bent valve with a loved tapped piston. A little to much rpm on the stock valve train.
lol I was thinking oh this is what James did, and well, here you are. BTW get your damn intake so Jake can weld up my new exhaust lol
@@allthingsfast2375 brah I sent them an email two days ago with no response yet, we're so close to the finish line.

oil 5w30?
What oil do you run in the speed 6?
Schaefer’s
im getting my speed3 built right now and im shooting for 600hp not a lot of people have a fast speed around utah
Wish I could talk to you because I love mazdaspeed 6 and they are selling me one for cheap!! Wanted for you to seee the car
How many blocks you been through?
It’s not a block problem
@@Sloazz6 didnt say it was. Its usually a weak point. Top end problems are easier and cheaper to deal with.
Ok, to be honest 3 blocks. Non of them blew. Swapped them for fresh blocks every season.
@@Sloazz6 just wear n tear? Nothing wrong? Damn, this car being your passion is an understatement. 👍
Yup, just normal wear and tears. I still have both blocks in my garage as backups
Still think no one knows how for we can Rev. Super tech springs seam to start to float at 7200 rpm. But you might of had keeper failure 🤔.
Correct
:( Dammit man.
bro could you please get in touch with me I need help with my speed6 please homie
When you want to sell - sell it to me, please
