What you purchased is the account necessary to use the software, along with an agreement that it was a one time purchase which would be cheaper the earlier you bought it, and once you did buy an account you would never have to pay for future updates What’s fucked up is that they didn’t just force the migration by saying you have to do this before you can login again which would’ve preserved all the preexisting accounts. By putting a timer on it and making it the account holder’s responsibility, they made it so that people who didn’t migrate and bought the account at a discount would have to buy a new one at full price and people who payed full price would have to pay full price all over again
It actually would be nice if more vtubers play certain games that are niches, just to see what it's like and give them a bit more exposure. Vintage Story Necesse etc.
