Well said ! We play a game where everyone tries to come up with a uses for various items . Example twist ties , bag clips , paper lips ect . Great help write down phone numbers .
In a cheap, plastic, zippered coin purse - contact card, magnifying credit card found at a dollar store, 2 bandaids, pain killers, tiny nail file and tweezers from an old nail care kit, tooth floss picks, cough drop, eyeglass cleaner wipes, tiny packet of sugar and coffee stirrer from a coffee shop, 2 elastic bands (from asparagus bundles), 2 twist ties, tiny tube of super glue from a craft set, 2 antibacterial wipes, eyeglass replair kit with a little screwdriver and tiny screws, rolled up piece of duck tape.
You could also "waterproof" your phone contacts/medical records card by wrapping it in clear box tape -- and that's probably already hiding in the junk drawer too.
You can do that, although it's probably better just to go to a print shop and pay them to laminate it. Kinkos does it for less than a dollar including tax. Other shops likely do it for a similar price. With proper lamination, it will be nearly completely water proof without having to worry about it actually being water proof that one time you really need it to be.
What a refreshing point of view! To complete the ironic comparison to $200 knife channels I think you should provide the links to Walmart and Dollar Store so we can source these items.
I keep cash on hand in case I get mugged. It's a habit from when I was overseas and muggers were likely to just let you go unharmed, as long as they got paid. It's still money that I have, and if I'm someplace where I'm getting mugged so often that it becomes a problem, the solution is to stop going to places where muggers hang out.
I always roll my eyes at channels that talk about "everyday carry" and they're showing off $100+ titanium screwdrivers or silliness like that. This is more of what I think of when I think of EDC. Stuff you've got on hand, or that can be found anywhere that just help you get through the day. Nothing super fancy, nothing super expensive so that if it gets lost/stole/broken it's not a big deal.
Truthfully, I like my "$100 titanium toys". But I do realize that's really all they are, they are toys. The price tag isn't going to get you through the day any easier.
@@SurvivingtheDaily The E just means every, wither it's $1 or $1k if it's in there everyday, then it's an EDC item. My edc kit is in a pill bottle - cards don’t fit but the other stuff does; tape and cord wraps around the outside. I have a separate smaller bottle stuffed with toilet paper, enough for 3-4 uses, because that particular need occurs more frequently than pretty much anything else that I’m prepared for.
This is a great reminder that I don't NEED a new knife or new gear. I just WANT it. 😊 I lost my Leatherman T4 this past weekend and don't think I'll bother with replacement.
Ooofff. That's a hard one to swallow. Last summer, I threw a bag of micro tools away. I was beating myself up for weeks. I did end up finding it but it was still painful. 😂😂

Turn it upside down the long way and you have another zippered pocket big enough for dollar bills folded in half AND still fit your medication for the day & a band aid if that's what you want. It is attached to a key ring where I also attach an Olight mini & a Victorinox Classic small pocket knife. The light, the keys, & knife can fit in the pocket meant for the fob. Great list! I have my emergency info (mother, siblings) on a dog tag necklace, very practical. As well as on paper in other places. If you have the ability to transfuse other types than O- you will have the ability to type blood (a very simple process, comparatively). Same goes for patches displaying your blood type or whatever it might be.

In just 3 weeks! Insane.
A decent video.
I'll take it! 😂 Thank you! 🙏
Nice view count bro..🔥🔥
Crazy, right?!?!
I don’t own a single Bic lighter Chap Stick,or and no waterproof plastic card holders.I own lots of knives, lots of other items. You are better off with some Real Silver Coins because paper money will soon be Useless but Silver will be valuable.
Gotta have lots ready for both scenarios. Today or tomorrow you may need that cash or lighter. But next month you may need that silver.
@@SurvivingtheDaily The Silver will be good now and then and paper money will be used for toilet paper then or kindling for a fire.
😂😂 we all need toilet paper
@@SurvivingtheDaily well at least the paper bills will work better than pennies, dimes nickels and quarters. 😂
What ?
Did I miss something?
