@@jamesblake5176 everybody bites their style from someone. It's what you do in evolving or adding to it that counts. We've seen the few guys who try and straight up replicate someone else's work. They don't turn out so great. Young Eminem you can definitely hear the influences but as he grew as an artist he all of a sudden became that guy other young rappers bit off of.

Esham is the shit always loved his work been listening to him since I was 13. Hell, I listened to Closed Casket on a road trip last week for the hell of it. The production on those beats back then for 1993 was crazy. I think he was under rated. Definitely one of the all time greats to come out of the east side.

Bizarre is pretty chill. His style has always entertained me. Actually was pretty cool seeing how he conducted himself in this interview.
Basically Em saw J at a club. Handed him a flyer for a show. It said "ICP might show up." J was like WTF?? Em asked if they'll show up. J was pissed and said "Hell nah fuck off." So once Em blew up huge, he made sure to talk some shit.
I'm glad it got squashed because I like both sides. But if it ever got physical, 1 on 1, sheeeeit. Eminem is not in Violent J's weight class. We're talking 5'8 170 pounds vs 6'2 230-280 pounds, depending on the year.
It's a damn shame that they couldn't coexist. Because Em/ICP collaborations in the 90s/2000s would have been crazy.
I always wonder what would have happened had J been cool about it and done the show. Em may have even released an early album or two on Psychopathic.

ICP may not be the greatest music in the world, but they certainly are great people. Every interview they've ever done is either totally hilarious or deeply sincere (especially the old Loveline interviews).

To add to that , I get alot of young juggalos asking other juggalos which Era did they start calling themselves a juggalo. Which is awesome. Recognizing the older generation, the maturity of the subculture and embracing the the new era. You wanna talk about merch game 😅 one day someone's going to analyze their albums and really get a finger on why ICP is successful. There's something deeper there and it's the bigger reason then merch alone why juggalos exist.

I had heard him on Amityville, Under the Influence, the DJ Butter - Kill the DJ mixtape (No Rubber, a nasty-ass track) and I think I had "The Underground EP" as mp3's on my computer. He did not disappoint, that much was clear halfway through Nasty Mind!

There is a VladTV interview with ICP where they spell out the beef and how it originated. Something about Eminem's crew handling ICP fake posters for a concert with their name on it as a prank/joke which they obviously took sideways and their crews would go at it on site. Watch the interview.

Then em was on the radio doing an interview and said “fu** Icp by my cd” and it just kept growing

I remember reading a little bit of icp's book, the first few chapters were so heartbreaking. It wasn't my book so I couldn't keep it and continue reading it but hopefully I can find that book one day and buy it. It pretty much explains their childhood, how they grew up and how they became ICP.

When I worked for psychopathic records 3 things happened. 1. Eminem pulled the unloaded gun on the Dale Boys. 2. Eminem bumped into us heading into the air port and hid behind 5 bodyguards. 3. i did a show with bizarre years ago when he was touring with psychopathic. and then helped promo a few d12 related flyers for them through the club just because i was out promoting my own stuff all the time to id take a bunch of stuff and put it everywhere. b was cool, i remember at check in he was standing around in boxers and a shower cap. and went on stage like that and was jiggling his belly. it was hilarious. you dont even have to be a juggalo to fit into the juggalo crowd because its so versatile and back in the day psychopathic always had the best co headliners from back in the day that you could meet if you jumped on a show with them. i stacked up a huge list of people i got to meet through working with icp. but they are also pieces of shit time to time lmao. and by that i basically mean violent j and monoxide child. everyone else was pretty cool

From what I read and heard that incident where icp ran into em on the car shop, supposedly em pulled out a strap on them and threaten to kill one of them if he ever saw them in that shop again. Not sure if it's true or not but would be pretty funny if it's true.

They don't have court footage of him going on trial for pulling out a gun on icp, cause that happened way before the bouncer incident. It happened during the marshall Mathers LP era.
I'm pretty sure that was just an ICP associate Em pulled a blicky on. If it were actually ICP it would've made headlines for one rapper pulling a gun on another rap group.
