My Mk5 R32 makes the same noise but only when the car is moving. When it’s station is very hard to hear. Can it be a bearing or must I change the whole compressor

It's the ac clutch bearing. You can change just the clutch.

sounds ok but the noise could be the spacer not quite wide enough for when the clutch is off.
