Lieber Simon! Dankeschön für dein tolles Video! Es ist hervorragend strukturiert und vermittelt echt das Wichtigste in Kürze! Riesiges Lob!!!! Herzlichen Dank für Deine Arbeit!💐 Liebe Grüsse aus Bavaria!!!
This is a great warm up exercise for players of all levels. I especially like the stretching exercises, as this is very important. I always like to stretch my lower body as well because I earn my living sitting in front of a computer all day.
That's great, Tony! We have a set of stretching exercises with Simon's wife Evita (a Lindy Hop dancer) at CGC Academy. It's important to be stretched out, even more so for those of us who work at a desk all day. Thanks for your comment! -Dave B
I find as an aged player now, stretching the hands and warm up so important. I have always used some simple classic pieces to get the fingers and mind moving. Over the years, hand health becomes a concern. I find now playing daily really helps and when I don’t, warm up takes longer.
Fabulous, thank you very much for this. What would you suggest for extending this routine a bit ? Maybe i and a alternation ? Some trills maybe ? What do you think about a tremolo increasing in speed ? Maybe some Rasguedao ? Also, I haven't watched you in a while so I am not up to date. I hope this is not too personal, but I hope your cancer got better. Nobody deserves such fate. But your reaction was a really touching example for me as a young person. Carrying on with what you love. Living life to its fullest. Continuation of the life you have lived as a sign of contentment with how you lived up to that point. Thanks a lot for enriching the world and setting a good example
A nice gift for everyone Simon!
Especially the ability to practice along with you. You're a fantastic teacher !!!
Very kind of you, Franco

Thank you Simon. This is excellent - as always.
Incredible. Thank you so much!
Thanks for the nice comment, Christopher!
Well Done! This is a very good framework to follow as is, or to build on and tailor to one’s needs. For myself, I prefer the metronome to be on 40.
