I am SO glad I found your channel! I’m making curtains for my new home, and want to do it the right was. Your videos are easy to understand. A big THANK YOU!!
Thanks so much!! soooo informative! Could you please double check my math?? window is 37" wide, finished length of drapes to be 88" fabric is 54" wide with a 9" repeat. I come up with 1.4 widths (which is 1 1/4, right?) and 6 yards of fabric. Is this correct???
@@MimzyandCompany Thank you so much!! I shouldn’t have to worry about the horizontal repeat since I am only using a quarter of a cut correct?? Also would like to make two pillow covers that are 20x20, another yard should get it don’t you think?? Thanks again so much I will be following your instructions and will let you know how it goes🙂
@@marathon1ism yes, you’re correct. And one yard will be more than enough for two pillows. If your filler is 20x20 feather then you should cut your fabric 18x18 to have a good fit. So you can make a knife edge/no welt pillow out of half yard if the pattern is small or no pattern.
You're a godsend. This video really helped me answer so many of my question. Thank you

I love these draperies! Can you tell me what buckram and hooks you used for this treatment and how deep the top hem is? I am trying to make similar 😊.
