- In this WordPress tutorial, I'll show you how to automatically print WooCommerce orders to a thermal printer.
If you are a restaurant that want to use WooCommerce to take local pickup or delivery orders, no doubt you will be automatic thermal printing.

great video! Ever come across a way to print to existing epson tm-m30iii or similar variation? For HP officejet printers, I use the HP eprint email address for the printer and works pretty well

Hi great video, I now have this setup and it works great.. Just bought printer nr. 2 for my second location - but How do I set up the star cloud software to print on both my thermal printers. In the software I can only choose one of the two printers..

I know your product orderable is new and look promising but because i worked with customers that have restaurant food online orders consider the following features to add in the future.
Instead of right side cart slide panel, add a pop-up so customer can select product options etc to add to cart.
Second a way to create offers. 2 pizzas 1 free drink etc.
Third and a must have. A map area to configure that the restaurant can deliver.
The flow is: Customer enters site -> pop up to add his zip code -> if the zip code does not match the area that you have defined for delivery -> throw an error not delivering.
PS: the map area must be defined not only via zip codes but letting the owner of the restaurant draw it in a map. Take for example gloriafood service.

hey I have everything set up just as yours and my CloudPRNT works when clicking print from the order page, however they aren't order printing even though I have "processing" selected for when to print. Any ideas?

what if you have a restaurant with multiple locations. is there away to set up multiple printers to one website and how do you let the website know which printer is at which location?
Does this stores server url in the cloud? It is detecting the printer in one site(testing URL), but not detecting in any other URL. Did reset, password change etc.
The Star Cloud Print plugin has not been updated for over a year. Whats the alternative plugin? Also, all those printers I think no longer available. Assume can use almost any thermal printer which you can connect to network

Outside of the layout they provide, you would have to customize the code. The way the receipt comes out is most likely fine for 99% of users.

its a pity its not possible to not print certain categories - as in Beverages go to the bar printer, foot goes to the kitchen etc. I have the mc-print2 and cant seem to do it

You can see if a local distributor had this brand. They are a very popular brand, I have seen them my whole life in retail stores.
Hi Adam, can you tell something about the price of that CloudPRNT? Do we have to pay for that or is it free as long as you use their printers? Do you need to use LAN or can you connect that printer to your phone (personal hotspot) and provide internet connection through that phone? I am thinking about solution for food-tracks here…
It’s free and built into the printer itself. No monthly fees or charges. So when you factor in the cost of the printer being so reasonable, it feels like a good deal to me.

@@wysoczanskim Yea so the model I am using here has a CAT5 cable connection. There are many Wifi adapters that will turn that into WiFi or you can buy a model that has inbuilt wifi. Then you can use your mobile as a wifi hotspot.

Hello, I have a problem, I entered the server URL on CONFICURATION, but selected the printer on the site (the printer was not found)，how to solve this problem?
Could be something with your hosting blocking it.
Is that a static IP address?
Its dynamic. So the printer doesn't require a static ip, but I suppose you could set a static one if you desired when you are in their web based interface.
I did everything you said and when a new order comes in it still won’t print and when I press print with Cloudprnt on the order, a pop up comes up stating JavaScript_trigger() do you know what this means?

Hmm, maybe a firmware update is needed? What is the firmware version?
@@WPCrafter it’s actually not firmware that is needed. I did some digging and that device requires an HI X Connect interface upgrade (hardware).

the plugin seems to be not long supported. There are no Updates for a long time and the support forum ist quiet still. As this is said it still functions but I have trouble with it and I didn't receive any answers ti my question. So this Printers are quit expensive be sure that you are risked that it don't work on your page.
Which version of wordpress and woocommerce did you use to make it work?

Would like to know this to. Looking at the options, it’ll call upon the template the Star plugin is set up to use by default. Wonder how difficult it would be to change this.. has it been updated perhaps?
