Lmao how could I forget about the GREATEST, BIGGEST & MOST PRESTIGIOUS horse race in America!? ..maybe the world!?😂lmao and I've been to Kentucky also! It's so incredibly gorgeous and SOO GREEN one of the lushest greenest places ive ever been!🖤i LOVE your state so much! You're so lucky to live among such beauty & nature!😍my grandparents were cross country truckers in an 18 wheeler when I was a teen so I went with them over the summer one year, so 2 1/2 months on a big rig & OMGGG i visited 42 states! it was the greatest experience of my life and I saw the most BEAUTIFUL sights that are burned into my memory forever ( Kentucky is one, i saw a big white barn that i swear had to be over 100 years old, it was literally leaning to one side & it WAS COVERED in greeen ivy top to bottom while sitting in the greenest patch of woods id ever seen, I remember thinking it was so green that it looked fake! It had a water wheel still barely attached to one side, ther must have been an old creek there but EVERYTHING was overrun with the greenest lushest ivy id ever seen. I just stood there in awe, trying to memorize every detail, thankfully i burned that sight into my memory lol cuz ive never forgotten) I'm so thankful I got to experience the whole country, road trip style so up close and personal, stopping in every major city & historical town in every state, & I got to see the twin towers IRL before they were destroyed/ bombed😢 we walked thru the lobby of one and took a picture with a metal man right out front, and 1 month later 9/11 happend and they were gone..forever. like I feel so lucky to have that experience & memory.
i would LOVE to see a mix of this and the cottage living pack for a sim who has a little homestead with little goats and sheeps and a little farm/garden area💚💚💚💚
I love building and I love this style! It's useful even for my favourite gameplay, because I rarely enjoy regular jobs, I'm more into off-the-grid, gardening, foraging, animals, art and creating own furniture - living of what you make without a job. When I'm building, it's always farms and cottages and ranches. I love wood and rustic look with a lot of rich colours on textiles and a lot of plants. And I have to say, after looking at videos this afternoon, I finally feel good about pre-ordering it. Because UA-camrs can definitely show the content better. It looked like creators didn't even know anything about the pack. And I'm in love with build and buy now.
I'm ready for rags to ranches, but as soon as I get bored with gameplay, I plan to redo lots on my save file - I even moved parks in base game words to get 50x50 lot in nature without neighbours, and there will be ranches there! Does anyone know if there is a lot trait that would attract horses the way there are traits for cats and dogs?

Northern Virginia fits this theme very well, just not the world. Loudoun county is "DC's country" and home to the oldest horse show in the country! A lot of the ranch build items fit very well, especially what can look old since the area has a lot of old preserved stables and homes. A greener world fits the scene better. You might consider doing that if you've already done the other states.
I’ve been doing a somewhat legacy family since the Aliens Stole My Parents challenge came out. I’m on gen 4 if you count those original parents. I have a big family in San Sequoia now. I’m going to have one of the kids go live with one of the family cousins in the new world. The cousin wants to do nectar making, and the child (whichever of my 4 fits it) will be into horses and move there to be close to the world.
Texas would so work magnificently with the assets of this pack. Especially something from the Hill Country I feel might be best read as overtly 'Texan'. Limestone. Limestone everywhere. The lantern with the star is something I straight up have seen all over the place as someone who's lived all over the state for over 25 years; anything with Lone Star motifs. And the cow hide furniture for sure. Since West/Southwest Texas matches the world better, there could be a lot of Mexican influences too.
Chestnut Ridge gives me Palo Duró canyon and Hill country vibes. Specially that modern ranch build looks like a Hill country ranch. Don’t mind me just Texas things.
honestly Texas is so big that it has both deserts and beaches so I think it’ll be kind of hard to pin down, but the big bend area might suit galloping gulch? or farmland in the panhandle could be rider’s glen.
please do Kentucky!!!!!! the horse pack is perfect for kentucky since horse racing is so big here, if you used a lot of horse ranch and cottage living in the cottage living world that would be so perfect🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
I would like to learn to build based on the local historic/ghost towns in my area, like Virginia City (I live in NV), where they have old boardwalk sidewalks, antique and curio shops, and shops where they make fresh fudge in the window so it's irresistible when you pass by! 😋

Yes, they said the neighborhood at the bottom of the map was inspired by Montana. Seriously though? Montana has such diverse topography, as does all of the west, that it could fit several states. Loving the new world though. I live in the PNW, and have traveled around much of the west, and just love the variety the landscapes provide. We are rich with abundant natural beauty.
as you were building the kitchen, I really thought "wow, the counters and everything look so amazing, like if a CC creator had made it" - I find the build item reeeeally good and I find it funny, that I expect better work from a CC creator than from EA :D :D :D
No horse should live alone as they're herd animals and really shouldn't be kept solitary but I guess in the Sims it really doesn't matter. And since they're part of the household we won't even be able to make proper herds anyway.
I saw a comment on another video that horses are often given companion animals like goats or dogs. This could add realism if the lot or house is only big enough for one horse.

I think those are preorder bonuses. They're weird, because they kinda register as being base game, so all the preorder bonuses should appear in the catalogue like that for the people that have them

Born and raised in Texas in the 90’s, this pack is my childhood! My grandparents home was ranch style with all of this kind of decor and patterns!
I was really hoping your Texas build would be a McMansion of some kind but now I’m hoping for a more 90’s ranch Texan home!

You could make a very realistic Oklahoman house with this pack and cottage living. There’s a lot of rustic cottages out here, especially around Tulsa.
