If you want to set this as a real bed and breakfast, you can use the roommate feature (discover university) and lock the doors for each sims ( so they're assigned to a specific room)!

That would be so cool for storytelling! You could have a community of people who have lived in Brindleton Bay for a long time but they don't want to rent a house. They could each have a quirky backstory, too

Wow! This is beautiful and inspires so many potential game play scenarios (family reunions, running it a B&B using the roommate system, etc.). I'd love to see more townhouses and apartments! It's so fun decorating them while seeing what you do. Besides, I like them for places to dump kids aging up out of the 100 baby challenge.
This build is absolutely stunning!! I freaking love the idea of there being a BnB in Brindleton too & it feels like it just FITS the world so much! I was just brainstorming ideas on how to potential make it function a bit more like a BnB & thought maybe you could move your Sims here on "vacation" (just leave someone on their OG lot/household) & then have them get roommates for the other rooms? Maybe even hiring a Butler to act as the "owner" & assign them the owners suite? Then once their "vacation" is over, just move them back to their original lot. Now I'm really wondering if that would work 🤔
I found this build on the gallery by chance and love to play with it! I switched one or two things around in the bigger rooms to fit in a crib or a toddler bed, so that smaller kids can share the room with their parents (I liked the idea of maybe having a young family over) 😊👍
To watch the video for this build was quite funny bc YT suddenly popped it up months later, but I loved to hear your thoughts about it, so I'm glad it did 😍😉
This bed and breakfast has a summer camp feel. I like it.
Goregous build. I bow down to your roofing skills. As a possible suggestion for future builds, perhaps an abandoned and rundown horse ranch that a Sim could either inherit or perhaps was able to buy it cheaply off the market to renovate and pursue their rancher dreamers that they had as a kid.
i think a leaky cauldron inspired build would be super cool as a hotel

I love making weird-shaped homes because it challenges you to think outside the box, pun intended. Sometimes all my interiors feel the same because most of my houses are similar shapes and sizes. Sometimes doing a weird shaped home makes you do things you otherwise couldn't in a symmetrical style home

idk why but I imagine the owner of this house to be an elderly lady sim and she's owned old english sheepdogs her entire life, so thats why the mascot for the b&b is one, and the big house used to be her and her 3 other siblings, her parents and her grandparents, and shes the last one left, she can't afford the house on her own anymore so she rents out rooms so she can afford to stay where she's always been. Lil sad but also nostalgic in a relatable way, also the owners room is my fave part, it looks so cozy ^^

This build is absolutely GORGEOUS! I will definitely be adding it to my game. I really hope that the sims makes functional hotels/ bed and breakfasts. It would be so fun to be able to run your own bed and breakfast. I just recently found your channel so I've been going through and watching all your videos. I don't know if you've ever built like a multilevel retirement apartments? Maybe in an older building with the front door of each apartment being on different levels and different sides of the building. I don't know, I just think something like that would be so cute.

Those pink flowers (hollyhocks) could totally grow in New England (brindleton bay). They are native to Europe/Asia but very common in much of the United States. I think they have a cottage/farm vibe. Which goes perfectly with the barn shape of this bed & breakfast.

Another build idea that could be fun once the horse ranch pack comes out could be some kind of house/office combo for an equine veterinarian! The two packs probably won't have compatibility but it's still a really cool idea to imagine lol
This is a beautiful house bnb i feel like it would be perfect for a sim who started up a business n have a butler who cooks for the guests using the roommates option to have some activities happening at all times. I wonder if u could change the type of lot to a rentel area too for get aways

9:36 that sign in the front with the delicate writing on it is giving funeral home vibes. Could you please build a funeral home? I know it’s a little bit morbid. Believe it or not, I’ve had a couple friends that lived in a residental home that was upstairs, and the funeral home was on the bottom.
This would be a good lot to use the roommate system with to pretend it's a bed n breakfast whilst earning money

So I was thinking of ways to make this bed and breakfast functional!
Option 1: Use the roomates feature from discover university. (they will pay you money to stay, tho not much)
You can use LittleMsSam roomates mod to pick certain sims
You can also use the LMS door lock mod to restrict certain areas
Option two: Use the stay over feature from growing together. Then just cheat X amount of money when they leave. No mods needed :)

guys, i'm a little new to all that, last time i played sims was 2011, and it was sims 3 lol. so now i see you can play sims 4 for free, but all these features and stuff in build i see here on these videos (which are amazing and very inspirational!!!) are available only with pre-paid packages, right?
and one more: cheat codes are not available in free version lol?

I think that bathroom with the multiple stalls is weird and out of place. I would’ve don’t either 2 single powder rooms side by side. or if you wanted stalls, to make it more upscale with half wall heights and real doors. Either choice would’ve made it more upscale.
