Can you do a limited pack build of Horse Ranch, Cottage Living, and Cats and dogs? Maybe a family ranch with all the animals so we can see how it all fits together? Your an amazing builder and I know you could make it work! Love your builds❤
As someone who grew up in Texas in the 90’s, this pack is so so real. The textured cow print, the wood colors, the patterns on the beds. It’s all what I grew up in. I love it so much.
Fun fact: many of those beautiful patterns on rugs, bedspreads, cushions, the table runner, etc. are characteristic Native American patterns. They and some other items from other packs (like the rug from StrangerVille) are based on textile and weaving patterns from four corners tribes, like the Navajo. I highly suggest Googling Navajo rugs for some beautiful real-life examples!
I am beyond excited. I don’t care about horses, but all the build/buy stuff is super familiar to me. The whole time I was saying things like “that’s my stair railing, that’s the fence in my neighborhood, that’s my mom’s table, that’s my grandma’s kitchen” and it just kept going. I’m so excited to build and play in a world that is just like my real life home.
A lot of the stuff from this pack is giving me an idea for a medieval tavern/inn. The wallpaper, floor and ceilings, rustic furniture, bar, nectar making, barrels, wine cellar, fireplace, lights, AND THE UNICORN.
Since werewolves i am LIVING for the run down aesthetic. I was not planning on getting this pack, but with all the rustic woodsy stuff I simply need to
Ooooh, those train-related debug items 😍 I'd like to suggest for you to build some abandoned train station or train depot that is used as teens' hideout! And maybe place it somewhere in Moonwood mill
the cloud ceilings are so gorgeous, i’m im LOVE !!! i can see the night sky swatch with the constellations being really good in a space-themed kid’s bedroom !!
i understands what ur saying about the kitchen items, but the point of the cabinetry is to be rustic because it's a ranch pack. there's tons of clean swatches of other counters in the sims, and i think they achieved a beautiful set that exactly matches the aesthetic of the pack that it's intended to be
Okay I know a lot of people are not happy with this being a expension pack instead of a game pack, but for me personally (I like horses and rustic furniture) this is by far the best build & buy and CAS we ever got in any pack. I know the gameplay is lacking, but damn do I love these furniture pieces 😍
I’m from Kentucky and the more I’m seeing about this pack the more it reminds me of my home growing up and my family’s homes and just the community I grew up in. Which is weird bc i expected it to be a lot more Texas like I know one of the directors on this pack is from kentucky so it makes sense I’m just suprised. It makes me feel really happy to see items that could be in my house. Also nothing is more Kentucky than horses
I am a bit disappointed that we didn't get more clutter stuff for the stables, like grooming tools, more saddle and bridle racks, mucking out equipment, etc.
Wine cellar stuff, rundown piano, wine cellar, broken up fence, cowplant skull, rundown swatches. My mind is drawn toward a Scooby-Doo style abandoned "Old West" mansion or log cabin. Halloween's already infested my mind.
I’m really excited for this pack! I’ve been wanting horses, and more rustic stuff for a while! I’m a huge fan of western stuff. My one quip though, is that I personally don’t feel there is enough Native American representation. There’s like three or four items, and a bunch of fun patterns but that’s pretty much it. I feel that maybe some more decor/pieces with historical meaning behind them would’ve been really appreciated. I just hope that there’s some interesting gameplay. Like even something as simple as being able to find sage, and light it would be really cool and then get some moodlets afterwards.
I came here before James Turner because I love my GURL! The two sizes on the sideboard are confusing because it's so easy to scale things up and down. How I wish that new shower was a shower tub combo with that curtain! Most of this furniture looks like stuff around my house because my husband is a hobby carpenter
So when you were going over the kitchen items you mentioned that the smaller pieces could be used as shelves possibly, that is brilliant! I’ve been working on my new ranch since yesterday and I’m just now doing the kitchen and using the small cabinets as shelves! They work amazing. Thank you for the idea!!!!
The whole theme of this pack isn't my cup of tea. But I do have to say. The sims team has really stepped up their game recently. Like these items are so gorgeous.
i would have loved to see more of that modern farm kind of furniture, like that fence/railing set or some of those windows. we already have so much traditional farm stuff from cottage living and more rustic / vintage stuff from werewolves and outdoor retreat. loved watching this, thank u for going so in depth ❤
The log siding with the white between is like old style wood cabin, where they would use a plaster like substance to fill gaps. It looks great and I can’t wait to get this pack!! This is my style for sure!!!
the steel gate is actually super realistic a real horse gate that you would just buy and tie to whatever fence you have in a real ranch. i like that. people make their own tumble down fences you know and you can just buy a gate like that and jerry rig it in. very realistic horse girl approval
The bulls Skull😱 Agreed extremely with the stone wall and its swatches. Should you feel the need to overuse it in every coming build after that you should know you have my full support😇
I honestly wasn't going to buy this pack since I'm not super interested in the gameplay. But the build and buy has sold it for me. The sims has been hitting the build/buy out of the park lately. Thankyou for doing a showcase.
Oooooh, you should've heard me gasp when I saw the Duwamish wall art at 0:42!! The scream I scrumped! (I live in Duwamish territory and it's really nice to see especially since they're not a federally recognized tribe! I'm definitely gonna put that in some Seattle-inspired builds!)
Thank you for the breakdown of the new items! I'm seeing a lot of potential for historical builds, which is amazing since I normally have to rely on cc to create such.
The gameplay may be lacking in this pack, but I am quite impressed by the the build/buy section. The colors and textures are so pretty! Although I do agree that there could have been more clean swatches too. Especially for like modern farmhouses that do fit with the theme too. But overall it looks good to me, and there's so much in debug too that is useful! Thanks for the overview :)
Thanks for your detailed view on all the stuf! I love that you even show the debug! Here for that :p only question: why do you show windows, doors and fences in the shadow instead of in the sun? do you prefer shadow? I always put the sun on the front when I build because I love the colors more that way ;)
painting ceilings was introduced to the sims 2 with apartment life in 2008, like i'm glad we finally got it in the sims 4 after like 13 expansion packs but we have had ceilings since day one of this game nine years ago, you're telling me the HORSES need it painted?
i was actually a bit iffy about the early release content because i was nail biting looking to see and i am relieved that we actually have a rocking chair in the base horse ranch game!!! so i feel less swindled/pressured into and so more inclined to buy it now full price to get two rocking chairs. it makes it actually worth it and like a reward for paying full price lmfao. instead of HAVING to get it in order to get any rocker... feel me???
I wish we could've gotten the horse, sheep and unicorn beds for toddlers. I feel like we're missing cutesy toddler beds with fun kids prints. We have enough neutrals but I love using cutesy animal print for todds and kids
Its definitly feeling modern log cabin/ modern ranch mansion with childhood hobbies. Some of the native pieces look really cute while others just look gentrified. And im sorry but most of the pieces you loved i hated i feel like we had them before or the swatches were just crap. Like the table the first swatch was a maybe but the rest were horrible. Light blue table with baby blue runner😟. But if its a home for an older couple omg it would be so cute!!! The tv stands that are diffrent sizes are definitly for diffrent style homes. I do wish we had the dinning chairs without the arm rests as well. Growing up the head of the table gets arm rests while everyone else got regular chairs. If thats just me im fine with it but those are the exact chairs we had. And the extra large bar vanity... oh i could fit that it so many homes with a man cave or just a family of nectar makers. I can also see a lot of run down buildings that some simmers do the ugly to beautiful challenges. And so much kid stuff!!! The upper kitchen cabinets were all ive ever wanted for building out a nice bathroom.
Regarding the hutch - yes i think its odd. I would have preferred for the tv stand version to be a little different, maybe have an open shelved section, or glass, instead of being just a tad smaller.
Hiiii! Long time lurker!! Some of these items gave me southern gothic vibes, the dark worn woods, leather couches, the Native American items.. I think you should try to do a southern gothic single mom home, maybe kinda into art or witchy stuff?? Love your videos!
I grew up on a horse ranch, and I swear the Sims team copied a lot of these pieces from my childhood home. I’m shocked that so many of the items are replicas of furniture pieces I’ve seen!
I’m on console and it seems like I need 2 packs for 1 build, farm; cottage living & horse ranch. Castle; vampires and castle estate. just an observation love your content tho!!
I looove the new items, I think they are absolutely beautiful! That for I am for sure getting this pack, and, because obviously, I looove horses so much and was so looking forward to this! The only thing I am wondering is: will it be possible to have horses in other worlds? Can I travel and ride around with them ANYWHERE?
i agree that EA deserves their criticism most of the time, but complaining about "too many" rustic swatches in a pack about the wild west is kinda crazy 😂
honestly the plants? yes i love the dead dried plants. dried flowers bouquets. my grandma had them all over her house. im personally happy with the non green plants. like every single other plant in the game is alive yaknow omg as soon as i saw that covered bridge i also though beetlejuice beetlejuice beetlejuice lolol🤣🤣 speaking of dead stuff 🤣🤫
The ranch expansion pack attracted me to build a modern farmhouse 😂 but I'm too broke to buy it because I'm still set aside my money to buy For Rent pack
I didnt expect to not get rustic items haha. Its just some items have less worn down versions and i wish there were more! It allows for more diversity in building
Can you do a limited pack build of Horse Ranch, Cottage Living, and Cats and dogs? Maybe a family ranch with all the animals so we can see how it all fits together? Your an amazing builder and I know you could make it work! Love your builds❤
Oooo that would be so fun! I feel like those packs could mesh together well! :)
BOOST!!❤️❤️❤️
Yesss
LOVE THIS IDEA
@@sarhakuri1201 adding in werwolves would really make it cohesive, like a family living purely of the land
As someone who grew up in Texas in the 90’s, this pack is so so real. The textured cow print, the wood colors, the patterns on the beds. It’s all what I grew up in. I love it so much.

I knew i could count on you to show us debug objects 🧡🧡🧡
Of course! Always my favorite part!
A lot of the stuff from this pack is giving me an idea for a medieval tavern/inn. The wallpaper, floor and ceilings, rustic furniture, bar, nectar making, barrels, wine cellar, fireplace, lights, AND THE UNICORN.
That I think will be a pack they voted on mideval space and I think mideval won.
Since werewolves i am LIVING for the run down aesthetic. I was not planning on getting this pack, but with all the rustic woodsy stuff I simply need to
Growing up in the southwest I feel SO at home in this pack. So so excited for the world and the gameplay
Ooooh, those train-related debug items 😍 I'd like to suggest for you to build some abandoned train station or train depot that is used as teens' hideout! And maybe place it somewhere in Moonwood mill
I 100% SECOND THIS IDEA!!
the cloud ceilings are so gorgeous, i’m im LOVE !!! i can see the night sky swatch with the constellations being really good in a space-themed kid’s bedroom !!
with the updates for the stone in game? hogwarts is quaking the great hall is landing

Exactly

A train build would be SO cool!! Idk if you read the Boxcar Children as a kid, but a build from that would be so cute!
I feel like strangerville, cottage living and this pack would go amazingly together!
I feel like youre the only simmer who consistently goes thru debug so you're the only one of these ive watched 🖤🖤🐎
Would be so cool to do a tiny home as a shipping container on a train track or train yard. So excited!
The horse swatches on the tapestries looked like they would match up as well!
I love this rustic style in these new things 🫶🏻
I am a bit disappointed that we didn't get more clutter stuff for the stables, like grooming tools, more saddle and bridle racks, mucking out equipment, etc.
Almost everything in the pack is wow. 😍
Wine cellar stuff, rundown piano, wine cellar, broken up fence, cowplant skull, rundown swatches. My mind is drawn toward a Scooby-Doo style abandoned "Old West" mansion or log cabin. Halloween's already infested my mind.

Right?! I would have liked to see something maybe resembling the Medicine Wheel or something like that.
The little stand with the 2 longer openings are for your boots😊
finallyyyyy some new off-the-grid ceiling lights
this is kind of random, but i’m really envisioning building a really nice ski chalet with all of these items lol
Let me tell you I gasped when I saw the sky floor/ceiling tiles
Isnt it so pretty?!
Thanks for showing the debug!
I feel like the build/buy in this pack will pair well with Cottage Living, Cats & Dogs, and Outdoor Retreat!
Did I a grown adult take Friday off to have a long weekend to play the sims? Yes. Yes I did.
Thank you for focusing on the Native American items. I wouldn't even know some of those exist because other youtubers brush right past them.
I came here before James Turner because I love my GURL!
The two sizes on the sideboard are confusing because it's so easy to scale things up and down.
How I wish that new shower was a shower tub combo with that curtain!
Most of this furniture looks like stuff around my house because my husband is a hobby carpenter
When I saw the napkins tray all I could see is a brewery with a couple of outdoor tables like a apple picking orchard 😀
So when you were going over the kitchen items you mentioned that the smaller pieces could be used as shelves possibly, that is brilliant! I’ve been working on my new ranch since yesterday and I’m just now doing the kitchen and using the small cabinets as shelves! They work amazing. Thank you for the idea!!!!

i wasn't going to buy this pack but...these items are compelling me
Thank you so much for showing everything!! I cant wait to build with this pack!!!!!
I love that worn down overgrown shed from debug!
Great items. I love the rustic stuff, it’s going to combine well with some of the other packs. The debug looks amazing!
i would have loved to see more of that modern farm kind of furniture, like that fence/railing set or some of those windows. we already have so much traditional farm stuff from cottage living and more rustic / vintage stuff from werewolves and outdoor retreat. loved watching this, thank u for going so in depth ❤

I’m happy they added so many rustic items! There’s so many general normal kitchen cabinets already they didn’t need more. I love the rustic sets!
that bathroom cabinet is STUNNING!
WOOOO I LOVE UR REVIEWSS
i was waiting for this vid
The bulls Skull😱
Agreed extremely with the stone wall and its swatches. Should you feel the need to overuse it in every coming build after that you should know you have my full support😇

i'm actually so in love with the cow print!!! very country very cowboy imo. looks like it's meant to be real fur!
All these items are so good. So many that I know I’m going to use way too many times as well.
i’m really excited! this looks like a good amount of stuff too, suprisingly
love you gryphi!! thank you for showing us the debug items too! it’s super helpful bc most of the time i use debug!!! love you❤❤❤❤
Now this I will definitely be spending money on!
I’ve wanted a wine rack for soooo long !!! I’ll definitely be using that!
Omg i can't wait till its out!!
I love the sims adding more detail to their windows like locks and panels
Thank you for the breakdown of the new items! I'm seeing a lot of potential for historical builds, which is amazing since I normally have to rely on cc to create such.
The barn doors!!!😍
Your reviews are the only reason id buy a pack.
the video I was most waiting for!! love your channel gryphi ❤
The gameplay may be lacking in this pack, but I am quite impressed by the the build/buy section. The colors and textures are so pretty! I always put the sun on the front when I build because I love the colors more that way ;)
This, cats and dogs, and some from seasons would kick butt as a limited pack build
The way I GASPED upon seeing the shutters!!!
Now I want make a Texas hill country ranch with this pack
painting ceilings was introduced to the sims 2 with apartment life in 2008, like i'm glad we finally got it in the sims 4 after like 13 expansion packs but we have had ceilings since day one of this game nine years ago, you're telling me the HORSES need it painted?
I’m such a nerd 😅 the cloud ceilings made me SO EXCITED AH they’re so pretty
could you make a summer camp? with cabins, and a central lodge with games and hangout spots, plus a lake! i think that could be really cool
A unicorn?? In debug?! So there will be real unicorns after all??:O
i was actually a bit iffy about the early release content because i was nail biting looking to see and i am relieved that we actually have a rocking chair in the base horse ranch game!!! so i feel less swindled/pressured into and so more inclined to buy it now full price to get two rocking chairs. it makes it actually worth it and like a reward for paying full price lmfao. instead of HAVING to get it in order to get any rocker... feel me???
What would be really fun is a kind of wealthy nectar makers home. I'm curious how some of these items might look in a more modern ranch style home
I wish we could've gotten the horse, sheep and unicorn beds for toddlers. I feel like we're missing cutesy toddler beds with fun kids prints. We have enough neutrals but I love using cutesy animal print for todds and kids
I love your builds there so cool 😮😮😮
Aww thank you!
The wall art with star patterns you talk about at 33 minutes is called a barn star!!!!❤ I love that they included these(^_^)
Its definitly feeling modern log cabin/ modern ranch mansion with childhood hobbies. Some of the native pieces look really cute while others just look gentrified. And im sorry but most of the pieces you loved i hated i feel like we had them before or the swatches were just crap. Like the table the first swatch was a maybe but the rest were horrible. You so eclectic styles so well!
I grew up on a horse ranch, and I swear the Sims team copied a lot of these pieces from my childhood home. I’m shocked that so many of the items are replicas of furniture pieces I’ve seen!
Ok so I am actually obsessed with the furniture
I started to believe that there wouldn't be any early access lol
I literally screamed when I saw the plates
I’m on console and it seems like I need 2 packs for 1 build, farm; cottage living & horse ranch. Castle; vampires and castle estate. just an observation love your content tho!!
The Texan in me is saying Yeehaw
cutting board: exists
gryphi: 👀
that vine in debug makes me wish they actually had growable lattice plants.
It's rustic because it's ranch themed. The point of a horse pack.
It's all about the TV size for the TV stand
i agree that EA deserves their criticism most of the time, but complaining about "too many" rustic swatches in a pack about the wild west is kinda crazy 😂

omg as soon as i saw that covered bridge i also though beetlejuice beetlejuice beetlejuice lolol🤣🤣 speaking of dead stuff 🤣🤫
Ik im excited abt the ceiling paint my vampire builds are all black and the white ceiling throws it off
I don't care about the horses. But i love the build/ buy very much ❤
The ranch expansion pack attracted me to build a modern farmhouse 😂 but I'm too broke to buy it because I'm still set aside my money to buy For Rent pack
*stall curtain for shows
Interesting to see there's a unicorn in debug...
did you not get the bonus items? im wondering if i should buy now and if they are worth buying it full price or not
So I’m just a little confused.. the pack is a horse pack.. so I don’t understand why you’d expect to get non rustic items.. 🤔
I didnt expect to not get rustic items haha. Its just some items have less worn down versions and i wish there were more! It allows for more diversity in building
I want this pack but I am waiting till it is on sale or something .
I really thought there would be a cow hide rug. They always seem to miss the most obvious things to me.
