Ernesto you are the best and Karma is real....Thanks for sacrificing some or your profit to do it right.
😢Great video! Got to do my 05 215 hp and the tips helped me see a lot. I broke the exhaust valves in no. 1 cyl. Thanks for the tips!
12:14 arp doesn't recommend you put lube underneath the washer as the washer/nut/lube is what the bolt tension is calculated off of, if you lube under the washer and on the head the friction of the washer rotating on the head can cause a different bolt tension as it can be easier or harder for the washer to slip on the aluminum head, and if 1 washer slips and others don't it can result in uneven bolt tension. can also cause the fastener to fret into the aluminum surface but not realty a issue on cylinder heads.
The issue i have here is your client is trying get this motor rebuilt for a cheap price by cutting corners just to thow it in a jetski to sell or get rid of it. At least you know that the motor will have a longer life being built the right way. You did the right thing. Awesome video. Love your Twin brother 🤣🤣
@@mandrakeelmago1770 I agree with you
ive really been loving your editing the past few episodes. keep it up!
I never knew you had a twin brother 🤣🤣🤣
@@fredericosanchez5318 yes I have a twin brother. His name is Ernie.😂
I always said. Trying to go cheap will always cost you more in the long run. That goes for anything in life. Great tech tip Episode Ernesto. 👍
@@fredericosanchez5318 I agree with you 100%

Hard headec clients 🤦🏼♂️🤣🤣love your videos PR🇵🇷
Your a better person than me. I wouldn’t get involved with that nightmare.
@@DMP6969 I know the thing is that I look at a Seadoo motor. I it’s a walk on the park for me but yes, I know what you mean. 🤦♂️
You’re a good guy Calas. Top notch in my book.
Mira que los clientes abusan. Quieren las partes mas baratas pero cuando se rompe el motor le echan la culpa al mechanico. Hiciste bien Calas
@@wisinyandel6537 si 🤦♂️😂🤣
Best channel on UA-cam. Love the passion you have. Keep up the great work and look forward to the next video
Great tips and editing
The RXT - X as 260 RS is a performance thoroughbed , and a significant step up from the GTI SE 155 ( See below) in this respect.
Great work and business ethic Ernesto, Im bringing you mine when I need work done to them. You are 2.5hrs away but will be worth the trip. Keep the videos coming

Wow, Two Ernesto’s it doesn’t get any better 😂🤣🤪😉 Great job brother. Learned a lot from this video. End result you did the right thing. Keep up the great work, I truly enjoyed it. We appreciate you.
Fantastic job as always wouldn’t expect anything less. Hey, any chance you can make another Enesto and send him to New York?
This guy's the best!
he would have been cheaper to buy a complete used motor.
hell pay u 4 grand to fix it Properly
Yes. The client was probably trying to cut corners just to get it done to drop in a jetski to quickly sell.
Watch it for the second time much value in your content
What are you using to get rid of the rust? That crank and counter balancer look brand new
I don't like Sea Doos for multiple reasons.i don't go with colors or doing 80+ ( in a flat waters) I'm a kawi or Yamaha, but JUST TO HAVE CALAS AS MY MECHANIC,I'M THINKING TO CHANGE TO YAMAHA.. BECAUSE I SEE HIM WORKING WHIT YAMIS ..IS AMAZING WHAT A GOOD TECH COULD DO ON A CUSTOMER.FIND A GOOD MECHANIC IS More difficult than having the ski...
@@jrg4435 good news for you and everybody who has a Yamaha once I go into the new shop I will be working on Yamaha

Do you ever use arp main studs or just oem bolts for mains?
Necesito ayuda tengo un seadoo RXP260 que se le esta metiendo agua para dentro le cambie el carbon seal y lo sigue haciendo que tu crees que pueda ser muchas gracias
Can someone explain to me why a stock Rotax 300 doesn't have wastegate? Are they recommended and if so why do they not come factory? What are the Pros and Cons...... Thanks for any advice on this subject
Why would you put a Wastegate on a supercharged application?
when adjusting the slippage on the charger, does the ecu adjust for any air/fuel ratio changes? I went from 11 Lbs too 13 Lbs slip on stock 300 and just wondering if that might cause it to go rich/lean.....
@@1fastgmctruck the slippage don’t have any impact on you’re fuel/air ratio.
The amount of boost will have impact on that
The slippage is just like a transmission to grip on the charger wheel, to much slippage will destroy your charger because the boost is locked up between the throttle body and the charger. The easiest way to release the boost pressure is your off throttle is tru the charger but with to strong slippage it will break your charger
After checking supercharger slippage on a stock 300 rtx and going from 11 lbs to 13 lbs, does the engine automatically adjust for any air/fuel mixture after going up on slippage setting?
Basically does changing slippage on charger make it rich/lean or does the factory computer adjust for that
@@jameswinston7593the slippage don’t have anything to do with you’re air/fuel ratio.
The slippage is only the moment when the charger starts/stops spinning
If you have not enough slippage the SC will not spin
If the slippage is to stiff you will destroy you’re SC if you drive it like you stole it
From factory a new chargers slippage is around 12/ 13lbs but after few heat cycles it will loosen up to around 11/12lbs
crazy bad motor lol
