    I love going back to old StarlordD vids and seeing what was proven right and what was wrong. Somehow, even after the speculation is ended by new quests, the vids are still fun.

    It would be very devastating for the Grinner empire if the Tenno used Cressa Tal´s DNA (leader of the steel meridian) to contaminate a batch of grinner soldiers before they are created. If they find a cloning facility (or more) they just need to change the usual DNA sample with Cressa Tal´s sample and then the next wave of clones would be born with the defective DNA which means they are able to rebel.

      Takezo Kimura but grineer don't use gene samples for cloning, they melt organism that they want to clone, so we will have to melt her, plus the clones will be weaker than previous clones and grineer kill every clone that doesn't obey the twin queens, except rare situations

      But why do you think clones are made anyhow? By copying someone else’s genetic template, and producing like individuals en masse. Take how we breed Kubrow and Kavat for example; or how about the clone troopers from Star Wars? The Grineer Empire is no different.

    • @MCAroon09
      @MCAroon09 6 років тому +10

      John Baxter but grineer use the method of melting down organism to get a sample, in grineer sealab (on uranus) you see the process.

    On Darvo's emblems, he has Emblems for both Beecloud and Luksor, I took to imply a potential alliance in the two factions. They appear a lot side-by-side, as you mentioned, and it seemed to me that the operations of the two factions that you mentioned in your Corpus WWT might make them natural close - or, at least, that they joint-operate the gas-harvesting foundries around Jupiter.
    Could be Darvo, like Alad, was or was intended to act as a representative between these two - Frohd DID want him to take a seat on the Board, after all, potentially one opened by Alad's "demise"?
    A part of me wants to say that Alad and Frohd Bek MIGHT even be related. After all, Frohd was very certain that Alad's wealth would be given to him after he was gone, and what better way is there for a claim such as that then by having blood relation? Wealth passed from one deceased family member to another living one.

      +Morec0 I like to think ALL Corpus ships have mercantile purposes, and each are simply different variations of the ships used to haul different sized loads. Also like to think they're ALL armed to the teeth - like 14th Century Merchant Vessels were in order to stave off pirates.

    • @Morec0
      @Morec0 9 років тому +1

      +Morec0 Not sure about Prisma Crystals being crystallized Void energy themselves, given their description talks about the Prisma crystals being baptized in the energy of the Void - which suggests to me a different origin for the crystals themselves. The idea of Void energies being toxic to non-Tenno is a concept I love, though, it helps keep the idea of the Warframe as a sort of reverse-hazmat suit alive.

    • @Morec0
      @Morec0 9 років тому

      +Morec0 I try to stay away from terraforming because, even though it's most certainly confirmed, a LOT of the tilesets in Warframe are still placeholder-worthy (i.e. snow on Venus) and it's difficult to talk about such a subject without being able to clearly define what can stay and what has to go.

      +Morec0 That's definitely a solid theory on the Prisma. I tend to lean on them requiring Void to form given Baro's occupation, but it's just as likely he brings Prisma in from outside the Void and then sells them once they've been exposed.

    i have theory that umbras are warframe that have no operator, we know form the second dream quest warframes can do actions on their own without the operator, but we don't know i they can just dosimple actions on their own (like your warframe pulled the war out of his/her chest) or even operate without operator.

    Another small note I like to make on the "tenno are energy theory" is that, I believe Vor says during the "Vor's Prize" or during his boss fight some time, something along the lines of, "The Tenno are the power/energy, not their Frames." (I couldn't find the exact quote).

    You seem to have confused the "ends" of the Plinth-class ships. The end with the cargo containers is the front, as seen at 3:03, while the end with the bit that juts down and out is the rear. That section extended downward at the rear is most likely the engines and thrusters, _not_ a command bridge.

    As cool as it may be to get one of those Umbra in my hands, I think having Umbra as new Tenno enemy might be cool. Umbra enemies would work similarly to stalkers, but with more varieties and random Warframe type.

  • @kenidur

    I'd say that the precepts are by the cephalons themselves, because Ordis is able to defy one., and agnowledge that he is doing so- Hence him saying; "To hell with Precept 44, get out of there!"
    Just what I think tho.

  • @eon993
    @eon993 9 років тому +8

    I feel like the Umbra frames are a combination of your idea, the few who refused the Second Dream, and the Stalker Lore entry, which I am sure that you are aware of. I believe that the Umbra Tenno, are the high guards, and considering in U18 there will be quests, and lore for the Lotus, Stalker and Orokin Moon, it wouldn't be much of a stretch to say that the Umbra are the Warframes which were High Guards of the Orokin, perhaps some of the outstanding Tenno, who had performed great acts of honour during the war. Perhaps when the older frames, that were sent into the vault, as we see it, were taken to the Vault on the Moon, to be outfitted with better Orokin technology, perhaps referring to the Dark side of the moon, constantly freezing, and covered in shadow, in contrast to the bright, white light of purity, that the Orokin are believed to be, by the Corpus, and even themselves, a lot of this is just speculation, but DE does love their Metaphors.
    What makes you believe the Umbra warframes do not have anything to do with the idea of the Tenno High Guard, or Tenno Council, made present in the Stalker lore entry? It would make sense, considering the recent expansion of this area of lore, and with the Sentient making a return, perhaps these original warriors, who displayed honour, in destroying the Sentient will return?

    As always, deep and interesting speculation. I wonder what sense you make of vandal and wraith equipment. where does it come from? to what purpose it's created? who creates and who is supposed to have access to it? Though there seems to be an obvious distinction between vandal and wraith: both are superior grade versions of corpus and grineer equipment respectively, you never see any enemy unit using them so that leads to the question: are these items fashioned by the enemy factions to reward "contracted" tenno? If so why would these factions not use this superior grade equipment themselves?

  • @Psycorde

    1. Luxor was originally an ancient Egyptian City, and the Obelisk was first an ancient Egyptian construction. I think you're barking up the wrong tree here with the Plinth and the Cantilever - I'm willing to bet they've got slightly ancient Egyptian names as well.
    2.Maybe Void Vor isn't really Vor anymore? I was always of the mind that the Janus Key somehow possessed him and is using him as a mouthpiece. No idea why.

    Warframe’s have to be fitted with something called a “Transference Bolt” for obvious reasons, so maybe we’re thinking too hard about this.
    Maybe Umbral Warframe’s are simply the caste of Warframe’s that Ballas made before or after making the Primes, weapons with sentience that the Orokin sought to control in all their idiocy. Warframe’s who could move and operate without the need of the “Void Demons” would make some sense as an alternative to use of the Zariman kids, who most of the Orokin likely hated. It would also make sense as to why Ballas wanted Umbra dead. Maybe he is the last operational Umbral frame.

    Maybe Prisma is refined Argon ... or very old Argon Cristals refined by the void energies and high levels of radiation to form much unlike Argon Cristals a much more stable Multicristaline structure. Like certain cristals it only chips and not completely breaks. And since its likely that Argon cristals can be used to channel void energies Prima should be better, and since more stable than Argon could be used to "Enchance" the Performance of any Object with it.

    on the tenno are energy theory, assuming that the updating of the game is also time passing in the warframe universe, it would be imposible that tenno are energy becouse in an earlyer version of warframe in the defence missions with cryopods was the glass of the cryopod transparent, showing us a kind of shrimpled gray tenno face without warframe, leaving me to beleave that the tenno are a completely seperate species from the sentients, orokin, grineer, humans and corpus and that "the decentants of the orokin" refers to a social connection connection instead of a genetical connection

      Dauragin primes are the frames made by orokin and the regular ones are the more recent ones. Tenno or whoever makes/made the more recent frames are ashamed of how the orokin were and didint want to show any similarities between the frames, even if it meant they were worse.

    • @TheMachine3165
      @TheMachine3165 6 років тому

      Dauragin prime frames were the original models while the normal ones were built based off of the originals design, I’d imagine the orokin didn’t mass produce the prime ones because they were too “expensive” and resource heavy. That or the Tenno were forced inside of the prime frames before transference was a thing, and I’m guessing the copies were more suited for transference but in exchange they were less powerful.

    one question: who are the humans we see in our repeaters? are they rebell grineer or civilian tenno? that migth answer if whe are human, alive, infested, energy or that we are only the warframe itself and theres a dead guy inside.

    • @StallordD
      @StallordD  8 років тому

      +Mike A Repeaters? What? Civilians are human, such as the workers on relays. Rescue targets are also human. If you mean the things in the cryopods, it's unsure. Probably a "base" frame, that specific types of frames can be crafted around.

      StallordD sorry, in the spanish translaction of the game the reles are called "repetidores" which means that, repeaters.

    i think the player tenno is infected, and his mutation can change form, thats why we can use warframes of different shape, but we arent from the firsts, the firsts are the "blueprint", then the orokin made like copy paste but the clonation doesnt work well so we are amorphs

    • @Photosystem1
      @Photosystem1 9 років тому +3

      Not how mutation works. Also, I have difficulty comprehending your hypothesis.

    • @KoeSeer
      @KoeSeer 9 років тому

      +Miguel Ignacio Arriagada Aravena Tenno aren't infected with virus, but with void energy, warframe is just a suit that channels that energy into specific power. Tenno without warframe also can channel the energy into power, like in Rhino codex.
      I don't really understand the second sentence, but I guess you're talking about warframe is a clone, right? Well... the suit is just factory made suit, just like modern day armor is just factory made. But the tenno is not a clone. They are different people with different personality. The first refugee from the void are given prime version of the warframes of its type. The regular warframes are copy-paste of prime, minus the gold part or the decorations, simplistic, industrial grade suit. Like in Loki's leg "Tenno Model 2100N serial 148-H", indicated that regular warframes are made in a factory.

    • @miguelignacioarriagadaarav6230
      @miguelignacioarriagadaarav6230 9 років тому

      Ok, the theory I throw up was full of speculation and I think I putted a lot of my imagination on it. My problem is, if the void refugees already came with some "powers" how "we" can change them changing warframes. (Sorry english is not ny native)

    • @KoeSeer
      @KoeSeer 9 років тому

      Miguel Ignacio Arriagada Aravena my guess is we have two gender tenno of ourselves, a male and female. Male goes to male warframe, female goes to female.

    I think umbras are the original frames. Ballas states that the Orokin took their best, both willing and not...and infected them with the virus. We see umbra's memories. He was a high ranking Dax soldier. A very high ranking one, to the level of knowing Ballas personally and having portraits of him on the walls of his villa. This is speculation ofc, but what if the Orokin took the best soldiers in their domains...infected them... and cloned whatever was the result. The best Dax soldier of the orokin empire would yield the Excalibur frame... Excalibur Umbra, to be more exact..which then went out of control...and after putting it down, the Orokin cloned it with more genetic magic , resulting the Excalibur Prime, which the Tenno used in the First War.
    Infect the best hand to hand combatant in the empire and you get Atlas Umbra... which you then slightly modify and make Atlas Prime.
    Ember might just have been a psychotic arsonist rotting in an Orokin jail and when offered the techocyte virus, she agreed to be experimented on and transformed.
    Mag might have been a physicist...Saryn a botanist...
    So on and so forth with every frame. Literally taking the best of the empire in their respective fields, in an attempt to create the ultimate weapons. This doesnt sound so far fetched, considering that the Orokin were willing to sacrifice entire planets in order to win the First War.
    The powers that the frames have are clearly not comming from the tenno. Otherwise, we would be able to use them when transferring out of our frames. The abilities come from the frames and the tenno is like a battery that powers them through transference.

  • @justincronkright5025
    @justincronkright5025 4 роки тому

    Cantilever is 'Leever' otherwise it'd have to be spelt 'Cantilevver'. A lever has a long 'e' meaning that 'e' sounds like it does in the alphabet. Short vowels are those whose sounds are different to how they sound in the alphabet. That's why 'travelling' for instance is spelt with two 'l's otherwise it is pronunced, 'traveeling' with the 'e' becoming long - but nobody obviously says it that way.

    Look at them, they come to this place when they know they are not pure. Tenno use the keys, but they are mere trespassers. Only I, Vor, know the true power of the Void. I was cut in half, destroyed, but through it's Janus Key, the Void called to me. It brought me here and here I was reborn. We cannot blame these creatures, they are being led by a false prophet, an impostor who knows not the secrets of the Void. Behold the Tenno, come to scavenge and desecrate this sacred realm. My brothers, did I not tell of this day? Did I not prophesize this moment? Now, I will stop them. Now I am changed, reborn through the energy of the Janus Key. Forever bound to the Void. Let it be known, if the Tenno want true salvation, they will lay down their arms, and wait for the baptism of my Janus key. It is time. I will teach these trespassers the redemptive power of my Janus key. They will learn it's simple truth. The Tenno are lost, and they will resist. But I, Vor, will cleanse this place of their impurity.

      Here's what happened:
      Orokin, huge, golden powerful civilization, creates something to help them. This something is called Sentients, used to terraform planets. Sentients rebel against their masters. Somewhere a ship full of children called Zariman, gets fucked by the void and its energy. Orokin used tenno and made suits for them, heavily implied that it is made of infested tissue, which the tenno can control in a certain way. Lotus controls the tenno, a female sentient who lost her fertility. Orders the tenno around. Tenno kills sentients, then kill orokin, then she should kill them, but gets a motherly love for the tenno, and refuses.

      +MrThaddeusRex That's my natural speaking voice. I have a lot of something called "vocal fry" that takes a lot of concentration to mitigate even slightly, like I tried to in these. But at least now I know I was justified in my fears of having a piece of shit narration voice, so it further reinforces my decision to stop these for good.
