Just got my first Eastman acoustic guitar and I am absolutely sold on them. Incredible quality at a price less than 1/2 a comparable Taylor or Martin.

The more Eastman's I play mandolins and guitar the more impressed I am their quality control, kaizen, and attention to detail keeps getting better and better. seriously I want one of these, as well as a Frank Vignola model FV which I played and was floored by..

They really just make beautiful guitars. I've got my first 486 on the way and I'm so excited...

Damn that black one!!! I need that!!! I just got my first Eastman sb59/vgb and it’s incredible, the tones amazing and the frets and fretboard, I’ve never seen such amazing work! You bet my next guitar will be a semi-hollow!

To me, it would have been nice to have straight string pull on that nice headstock. Sweet guitar...on the Romeo

Are Eastman maintaining their solid body line? Hopefully yes.

Why dont they give all their guitars that headstock? Makes so much more sense! And I wish there was a 339 type with the appropriate (24.75) scale length.
Dont really want a 25 scale length with that type of guitar. Other than that, amazing guitars.
I worry about the Romeo being a little dark, with it being a spruce top hollow body...can anyone comment on this?

I want a Big Romeo - like this with Darker Deeper Tones from a slightly bigger body 15.75 "- 16" a bit deeper -2.25"deep / same sustain as this , locking tuners, stoptail. And 25 to 25.25" scale for note separation on big 6 note chords. Really overlap into Archtop Fatness = BIG ROMEO

I really like the black one, but please take that bigsby off. Without bigsby I'll buy one tomorrow! :)

My only question is why do they put the input jacks on the front of their guitars with bigsbys?

    • @chrispile3878

Because the Bigsbys on the side of the guitar would be stupid.

Interesting as all of Eastman's other thinline guitars have the input jack on the side. Of course a right angle cable eliminates this concern.
