Happy New Year, everyone. For some daft reason, I thought the head trap was life-sized, and now I'm laughing at how comically ridiculous that would have looked dominating the movie shelf. An alien head is one thing, a full-on Saw trap is a visit from the old bill. That's a lovely looking set, one of the more handsome ornaments. And it's always a mini celebration when things like this survive unscathed, especially from overseas. Might have to dig out the disks, it's been a good while since I watched the series.

When I first seen the pictures for this I actually thought it might have been and then I came to my senses and realised that there was no way that was ever going to happen unfortunately. Hi Keith, A very impressive collectors item, now i must confess i have seen the first movie "Saw" & its a very good horror movie & for some strange reason i haven"t seen the other movies that followed, maybe its because they"ve put out so many sequels so close to each movie, & eventually i will have to get a set of the movies, which i almost did past October. Another great collectible to your museum Sir.
Hey Carlos. It's a stunning looking edition and I'm so fortunate that my fiance bought it for me. One would say you have seen the best of the Saw movies. None of the sequels lived up to the first movie. To be completely honest none of them came remotely close. But it is a fun franchise to watch and you do get a full circle feel when you get to the last one. I do recommend checking them out but having said that you're probably not missing out on too much.

I stick to my Austrian Final Trap Edition as it was a lot cheaper and the trap is a lot better. Also I don't need another collection with every single film. Thanks for showing, I didn't know this release.

That's exactly why I enjoyed them. The fact that they do interlock with each other and you get this whole Perfect Circle by the ending. You don't see too many of these franchises out there and it's great to finally get such a stunning release for it. I'm actually a massive fan of paranormal horror movies myself. I'm finally going to get to see Halloween Ends, been waiting for a copy forever, I don't understand why Movies don't go from Theater straight to physical Media, and then to all the streaming services, it makes no sense. Why wouldn't they have it ready to be distributed on Physical Media at the same time as streaming services?
It was on streaming at the same time as cinema release because they knew it was terrible and were scrambling to recoup as much as they could from that trainwreck.
I never fully understand the big delay myself when it comes to releasing these movies on physical Media. I'm sure there is a reason to it I just can't wrap my head around it. I have my Halloween ends hopefully coming next week. I'm not too excited about it though because I have seen the movie and I did not like it at all and the only reason why I picked up the movie is to complete the trilogy. Hopefully I might enjoy it a bit more on my second viewing

Yeah I'm very well aware of the uncut versions they are the only ones I ever watch. You have absolutely nothing to worry about my friend. It is an expensive Edition but I think it's worth it.
That’s really sweet, but personally I wish they had an option that came without the mask at Aa lower price point, maybe those could be unlimited and the masks would stay limited to 1500, idk seems smart to have a few options and get more buyers. Escape ally since the mask is the hardest to make the buoyed and stuff are less expense I’ve and so could be unlimited. I digress…
That's actually a very good point you made. I don't understand why they just don't release the movies separately and as you said keep the the Trap edition the more limited of the two. It's very simple the rest of the movies are not out on 4k and that's why you only get 3 4k discs. I can assure you there is nothing gimmicky about this set. It's highly collectable
@@millerman9991 I know most of these are not already in 4k but why not make it so with this set, If you think this set is not a gimmick as the next one I am sure will feature more 4k movies then more power to you.
I don't think Via Vision do their own transfers and that's why you are never going to get a complete 4K set. Not just that but how expensive would this set be if they were all in 4k.

I had to set the bar high at the start of this year and I think I might have set it a bit too high because it doesn't get better than this release. For some daft reason, I thought the head trap was life-sized, and now I'm laughing at how comically ridiculous that would have looked dominating the movie shelf. An alien head is one thing, a full-on Saw trap is a visit from the old bill.
That's a lovely looking set, one of the more handsome ornaments. And it's always a mini celebration when things like this survive unscathed, especially from overseas. Might have to dig out the disks, it's been a good while since I watched the series.

A very impressive collectors item, now i must confess i have seen the first movie "Saw" & its a very good horror movie & for some strange reason i haven"t seen the other movies that followed, maybe its because they"ve put out so many sequels so close to each movie, & eventually i will have to get a set of the movies, which i almost did past October.

Hey Carlos. It's a stunning looking edition and I'm so fortunate that my fiance bought it for me. One would say you have seen the best of the Saw movies. None of the sequels lived up to the first movie. To be completely honest none of them came remotely close. But it is a fun franchise to watch and you do get a full circle feel when you get to the last one. I do recommend checking them out but having said that you're probably not missing out on too much.

That is a really cool looking Saw box set Keith. It's a good thing your's came in good condition and yeah I've heard and seen many of those Saw Collections damaged I like the really like the Reverse bear trap I like all the Saw movies but spiral is my least favorite ☠️😈🆒👍 I have all of them on blu-ray except spiral
I think this is the first time I ever had the entire Saw collection in one set. I'm nearly certain there is a box set out there but I was never able to find it for cheap. You have no idea how nervous I was when I open this for the first time. I honestly thought it was going to crumble in my hands after seeing all them other videos. That's exactly why I enjoyed them. The fact that they do interlock with each other and you get this whole Perfect Circle by the ending. You don't see too many of these franchises out there and it's great to finally get such a stunning release for it. I'm actually a massive fan of paranormal horror movies myself. That is a beautiful set! Via-Vision did amazing with it. Are the discs the same as the previous Saw Collection?
I honestly don't know if the discs are the same because I only owned the movies separately but they're definitely different to those ones
I'm finally going to get to see Halloween Ends, been waiting for a copy forever, I don't understand why Movies don't go from Theater straight to physical Media, and then to all the streaming services, it makes no sense. Why wouldn't they have it ready to be distributed on Physical Media at the same time as streaming services?
It was on streaming at the same time as cinema release because they knew it was terrible and were scrambling to recoup as much as they could from that trainwreck.
I never fully understand the big delay myself when it comes to releasing these movies on physical Media. I'm sure there is a reason to it I just can't wrap my head around it. I have my Halloween ends hopefully coming next week. I'm not too excited about it though because I have seen the movie and I did not like it at all and the only reason why I picked up the movie is to complete the trilogy. Hopefully I might enjoy it a bit more on my second viewing

Yeah I'm very well aware of the uncut versions they are the only ones I ever watch. You have absolutely nothing to worry about my friend. It is an expensive Edition but I think it's worth it.

That’s really sweet, but personally I wish they had an option that came without the mask at Aa lower price point, maybe those could be unlimited and the masks would stay limited to 1500, idk seems smart to have a few options and get more buyers. Escape ally since the mask is the hardest to make the buoyed and stuff are less expense I’ve and so could be unlimited. I digress…
That's actually a very good point you made. I don't understand why they just don't release the movies separately and as you said keep the the Trap edition the more limited of the two. I enjoyed jigsaw and I also kinda liked spiral even though it didn't actually feel like a saw movie I still loved some of the traps that were used in the movie 😀

A gimmick set imo, why all the films are not in 4k I have no idea. Hate those slide out disc booklets.
It's very simple the rest of the movies are not out on 4k and that's why you only get 3 4k discs. I can assure you there is nothing gimmicky about this set. It's highly collectable
@@millerman9991 I know most of these are not already in 4k but why not make it so with this set, If you think this set is not a gimmick as the next one I am sure will feature more 4k movies then more power to you.
I don't think Via Vision do their own transfers and that's why you are never going to get a complete 4K set. Not just that but how expensive would this set be if they were all in 4k.

I'm actually putting out a video tonight where I'm going to be reviewing the Running man on 4k. I haven't picked up Apocalypse Now on 4K yet and it's a movie I definitely want to get. Not quite sure why I haven't got it yet. Great to finally see the Rocky movies coming out on 4K as well. All of them will be a day one purchase. Thanks for stopping by my friend
