Great job as always. The Sea Goblin parts made me imagine a Megalith video where it cuts between Mobius 1 and the infiltration team. "We'll get those panels open! Don't let those pilots die!"
That's a great idea. Only issue would be creating the exterior of megalith. I'm sure in time it could be done, as when started doing these I didn't even imagine incorporating ground unit shots, and here I am lol

Absolutely stunning. I love seeing the ground battle as well, wish we had more cutscenes like this in the game. Petition for Nassault to be hired by Project Aces!
My dream Ace Combat is: 1. Vietnam era onwards kind of planes 2. A setting for more realistic flight model kinda like war thunder (where energy retention and actual maneuvers matter more) 3. More serious characters and less "anime kids" that talk and behave in a childish way (Ace Combat 7) 4. Nassault making the cut scenes.

That way, without the sight of a usual character, car, location or weapon we always see in game, other than to those few with a very sharp eye and are accustomed to the Euphoria Engine's look and feel, it is hard to tell. In the Shelf Nunny music video, I actually went into the North Yankton files and made everything but fences and a few bushes totally transparent so it was a barren snowy landscape with roads, and from there added in a ton of custom map objects to construct Iceland. I figured hardly any movie we see is actually filmed in its real world location, so why not apply that same suspense of realism into machinima production and make unique sets for unseen shots.

Sure. It's a sort of russian orchestration with brass (fitting for Yuktobania) mixed with a bit of Vivaldi's Winter strings, electronic beats and a cold glockenspiel and it's so nice. My favorite winter theme. It's also a rearrangement for AC4s Emancipation which is pretty cool, nostalgic and gives an unique feeling to this mission.
If the next video isn't Nagase capping some of the pursuing patrols armed only with her Beretta M9 so we get the full combo of air and ground animation; we are done son! -Awesome video and thank you for continuing to pay homage to Ace Combat.
Thanks Avarik! ! That reminds me, after playing 4 back in the before time, I remember that feeling when your wingman actually taking an order and blowing someone up for the first time blew my little child mind of 2005. Hope you are well :--)
Those were certainly some amazing times back then, look how far we have all progressed since then. And I am well, thanks! I hope you are too, buddy. :D
Love this. The environment, the music, Nagase still fighting with the voice inside her head blaming herself for Bartlett getting shot down. All this makes the mission and the one right after it one of the most memorable in the game to me.
Brilliant use of Tacview btw. And don't think we did not notice that VFX in the beginning. That 2:26 🦌 was also taken from the FMV, right? Amazing job as always.
So breathtakingly beautiful, Nassault! In these moments, your videos are such a relieving treat! I'm glad you chose Ice Cage, this mission's OST is so soothing.
This is arguably one of the points in the story where Kei's character undergoes the most change. Even though she physically survived in the game, a part of her never truly returned to the sky after operation Blackhaul. Whether or not he meant to, Nassault showed that metaphorically by having her go down with the plane here. The sound of her plane breaking apart at 4:56 gives me chills.
Well, yeah, seeing how much she almost died (considering her absolute devotion as Blaze's wingman and her promise to "never lose another flight lead"), I guess that small film of Bartlett saying "Nagase, you keep flying like that, and you'll die real soon!" passed by her head after she ejected. She really tried out her best to become a better wingman after the incident.
This was phenomal work! I love how perfectly integrated the chatter is; it was iconic for the team. Plus, seeing the way they work together drew me into it because it wasn't just Blaze killing things, which is the only perspective of the game. Archer showed some skill and competency you hardly get to notice while playing the game.

I always do F-14 for Rescue though. It just seems right to do a homage to Razgriz (plus LAAM is killer in this mission). And swept wings are awesome, especially when you ascend parallel to the elevator shaft to chase a drone and you see the wings sweep back in replay.

Funny thing is that Bartlett never acknowledged his death. When Razgriz were escorting him, he somehow knew Swordsman took Chopper's place.
