If only people knew. Its actually not that difficult to achieve financial freedom in GH. Takes discipline, planning, financial knowledge and prudent investment guide. You will leave a stress free life. Good one brother.
I thank God for buying my land at east legon hills 15 years ago. Today, my house is under construction in one of the most expensive locations in Accra..
Typical example is Baron Fiore Taricone who came to Ghana to look for gold but ended up acquiring lands instead, he saw the value of lands in Ghana. Now his sons and family owns the largest commercial lands and properties in Ghana. Trassaco, Casa Trassaco, Villagio, farms, gold mines etc. Guess their worth now😊. Yes Ghana will develop with or without you, and I want to be part of it 💯
The colonizer gone do what colonizers do. You go and try it and see the love you get from the people who look like you. Ghana has countless cases in court for fraudulent land scams.
Thank you for this, I am planning to repatriate to Ghana, and before I do that, I want to buy a house already built. That way when I visit I don’t have to pay for a hotel or airbnb, and when I’m ready to move I don’t have to pay anyone rent or run around looking for a place to live.
Buy your land and register it, and it’s yours. Your landlord will usually tip up just to say hello, receive him or her and give them something small on their way, have a mutual friendship with them and they will never bother you. Most ppl won’t leave long (99yrs) to come and bother you with renewals.
I live in the Netherlands(EU) 99% of home owners deliberately don't finish their loan but renew it because the property taxes are even higher then the loan.. people should be happy with the Ghanian lease system with 99 lease just put automatic renewal clause in their and your good to go.
Staying in another man’s country till retirement age before relocating to Ghana seems like a wasted life to me. Is good you go there raise some capital and come back home and start your simple and free of stress life in Ghana
@@Baros4444 you’re right. But if you want comfort, then stay abroad and forget about Ghana. Because Ghana will never afford you that luxury, not even spending many years abroad. Because the roads are bad, and you’ll not get quality service for your car and etc
You can pay outright from a land owner or you can pay instalment if there are payment plans put in place for the company selling mostly (service plots). Be careful when buying a land in Ghana, I believe Rush can help you with that.
As someone who bought land and built a small house in Prampram Ghana along the coast; I would recommend businesses connected to recycling and private garbage disposal. There are many people from the West who pay reasonable fees for garbage pickup and disposal. Another option that I see taking off is the business of paving stones for both residential and commercial use.
Hello Rush do you have a borehole? If not what is there reason you don’t have one in addition to being connected to Ghana Water? Thanks for your reply in advance
Depends on the area. I have a borehole at my carwash and no borehole at my house. Ghana water is pretty reliable in my neighborhood…. The water content from the borehole isn’t the best so if I get a borehole, I have to spend more money to treat the water. It’s just not worth it when my water bill monthly is less than $15.
The most of African countries has lease systeem. And if they don't they will have it in a view years. Everyone knows the worth of South Africa is the only one i think that you can have freehold. Ghana also has freehold(no lease fully yours) but this is only for the people that had land before the lease systeem was implemented in 2010 or something like that.
But you can take 99 years lease and put a clause in there for automatic renewal 99 year again. And yeah you wont be around for your grand Grand Grand Grand children also the land that you have will be divided so many times that there is nothing left so worrieng about that is not really logical. Some people dont even want or have kids and stress about 99 year lease. 😂
Whether we go up or come down, Africa is home. Period!

It will be helpful if we can also focus on building social amenities instead of us all building houses !!

@ I understand! That makes sense. Thank You for your reply!
There are better options than the US and Ghana .
Where ?!! Your opinion?
Can you own land in Ghana 100% as another African? Like not a land lease 50 or 99 years.

It's not like the house will be taken from you or your family. The ownership is renewed after those years, and it's not that much
Okay, thanks everyone for your responses
