If you are wondering what's the music played at the beginning and end of the video, that's the famous "Meditation from Thais" for violin and piano by Jules Massenet. Find the sheet music of it, instantly downloadable at the link below:

Thanks for watching!
My teacher, just today, told me that my bow was crooked and in order to fix it I should bring the violin scroll closer to the center of my body. Essentially what you said in this video! Two teachings of the same message in one day - this must be a sign. :)
That's great to know! Keep it up!
I'm happy for you!!!
It's really cool 👍😁
I play the Viola since 2013 but sure it helps me a lot 😊
Yeah!
Love it
Thank you for posting this video; I've been wondering about my hold position. :) I'm finding this way so much more comfortable and natural compared to what I've tried since beginning playing.
You're so welcome!
The moment I started holding the violin between the chin and the collar bone was a turning point for developing my technique. However, I also use shoulder rest and that combination makes everything much easier and opens up possibilities. You can hold the violin straight and not moving at all, concentrate on and developing your bow technique without interference, and have a much more natural and stressing to the body pose than not having a shoulder rest.
Very cool!
I will throw away my shoulder rest tomorrow and hope this video is no April joke! ;-)
No it's not! But... the use of a shoulder rest depends by how tall is your neck. If you have a tall neck, you''ll have a hard time to play without a shoulder rest!
What is the name of the piece in the opening logo?

@@virtualsheetmusic Thank you so much! I have just heard it at the end of the video, what a beautiful piece and recording! even in such a short passage, Williams as if cuts my skin open and reaches to my heart with his singing. Got shivers.
I have a long neck, I have a hard time finding the right hold
