I'm not entirely convinced that shiny charms don't operate by siphoning off his insane shiny luck. Like, any given pokemon in a PM7 video that *isn't* shiny is surely the result of his overwhelming shiny luck being taken and sent off to a different player finding a shiny in that same moment.

The shiny charms just serve to balance out PM7's shiny luck by distributing it more evenly, since he himself is an epicenter for shiny luck spike anomalies.
My first ever alpha shiny was found without the shiny charm. I was just riding around in Cobalt Coastlands, when out of nowhere, I find a Shiny Alpha Female Combee (no outbreak, static spawn) I ran through the odds, and it is, at least, a 1 in 1,600,000 chance to spawn

My first alpha was a massive mass outbreak of white-strip(hisuion) bascalion it was a female then my Space Time Distorsion shiny was a shiny scyther that i evolved then moved to violet and she is level 100 and on my violet team her name is lucy. my bascalecion is named sunshine and she is the lead of my arceus team.
I would say the luckiest shiny I caught was a shiny haunter in a new playthrough from the first distortion I visited in the Obsidian field lands. Love the enthusiasm John keep up the good work and congrats on that distorted alpha walrein you deserve it.
I will still stand by as my Alpha Shiny static Gardevoir on my post-"repair"-service save file as my best ever. First time I went to that static encounter and it was shiny. 💞 One of my favorite shinies too~ ❤

To those unaware, do not attempt to save and reload if you find a shiny in a spacetime distortion. Upon reloading the game, the distortion will be gone, which in turn means the shiny will be gone as well. I've never lost a shiny this way, but I have attempted the save and reload strategy simply to avoid having to wait for another distortion and... The distortion was simply gone.
Yeah, i had set my mind on catching a shiny alpha ninetales. Ninetales only spawns in one spot in all of hisui, on top of the volcano. To make a long story short, I spent hours searching but now have my prized possession.

I got a lot of shinies out of space time distortions, including one of the 3 special spawns and a shalpha sylveon. And please, to anyone who finds a shiny in distortions, do not throw balls at it, attack it, therefore it doesn't despawn. Pm7 here had great luck that the shalpha stayed in.
My first shiny in legends arkoos (and I think in my overall pokemon experience) was a shiny alpha gallade (gallade is 1 of my fav pokemon) but later on I found a regular shiny Luxio in a space time distortion and I lost it.
I count myself lucky then to have caught a shiny onix, now a shiny gold steelix, in a space-time distortion. It’s not an alpha, (it’s actually very small on the size scale) but a golden steelix is a nice prize. 🏆
Caught my first Legends shiny in a time space distortion. An Espeon! At the time I was focused on Dewott (for the dex) then realised the Espeon when it pranced over 😂

If you ask me, shiny alphas from trees are more rare, but shiny alphas from space-time distortions are a very close second.

For distortion shinies, unless they're the static spawns, it's best to just battle them. That way you don't have to worry about them despawning
