Winger sounds amazing live these days. Great vocals, awesome guitars and still going strong! Proud Desperado is a great new tune and I cant wait for the new album!
Winger is one band that got better with every album they put out in my opinion. I love all their albums, but my two favorites are Karma and Better Days Comin. They never deserved the backlash that they got back in the early 90's. I am really looking forward to Winger 7 album. I absolutely love Proud Desperado big time!

IM getting fed up with people calling our beloved 80s heavy metal bands hair bands to me they are the best effing music around i have repeted for them our bands dont use auto tunes
Yeah, well, there's a musical idea in there that's clearly #Desmond Child. It's that bridge or post-chorus thing that's all disco sounding and the lyrics say "Bullets fall like rain.........nothing lasts forever..............." which is clearly recognizable Desmond songwriting musically.
When Kip Winger mentions he listened to Ravel, Stravinsky, Debussy, etc, as a kid. Those specific composers actually make classical music that has the same intensity as rock and metal
Someone should ask Eddie Trunk one simple question... Why is Hair Nation (Ch39) complicit in killing these bands from the 80's on not playing any of their NEW material on regular rotation! Winger and others have put out multiple great releases but you never hear them except for the same old tired tunes from the 80's.. These bands are struggling to stay relevant and sell albums and Hair Nation does NOTHING to help them. It's a damn shame these bands who have released some great material over the years past 1980 are kept in a 1980's box.. Help these bands out and play their new material!
Very fair comment. Support the new music these legends are still putting out. Also check out the new Extreme single- killer track, up there with their best like Proud Desperado.
@Manish Mims Are you going to tell me that radio stations thru out history has never changed it up and expanded their platform to bring in more listeners?? Not to be rude but I think your lack of understanding the radio stations tired platform of boxing these bands in the 80's and my statement was CLEARLY a post of my grievance I have with Hair Nation in which I am allowed with my 1st Amendment right to do so! Good Day Sir.
I agree with you big time! If I was in a position like Eddie Trunk , I would definitely play new songs from all the 80's bands. That is one huge reason why new songs are usually the bathroom and drink breaks at the shows they do because most have not heard them. These bands have more songs than just their past hits. It is sad that radio won't play them.
@@PowerslaveWarrior I was also own away by unbreakable....after seeing them test it live around 2000-2001.... Humanity hour one is different....but still classic scorpions to me, a little updated. Great riffs there too. Good singing by Klaus.
In my opinion Winger surpassed Pull with Karma and Better Days Comin. Pull is my third favorite, followed by the self titled debut album, In The Heart Of The Young, and Winger IV. I love them all big time. It will be interesting how Winger 7 will be.
Winger is one of the most underrated and misunderstood, underappreciated band. Great talent, song writing, musicianship and production.

Desmond child did a wonderful album with scorpions called humanity hour 1...
I tried really hard but just couldn't get into Humanity Hour unfortunately. Unbreakable on the other hand absolutely blew me away.

They can't surpass Pull. This new album needed more songs like proud Desperado.

Pull is amazing, but honestly I think they already surpassed it with IV.
