Give this intense 6 minute dumbbell shoulder workout a try! All you need is dumbbells for this routine. You get a killer shoulders workout that you can use for working out at home or at the gym. Routines like this are great for those who want to work out while traveling too! There are 6 exercises using the intervals of 50 seconds high intensity work followed by 10 seconds rest and repeated for 6 minutes straight. Try 3-4 sets for a full volume dumbbell only shoulder workout or use this as a finisher at the end of your weighted shoulders day. This is a follow along routine and a timer is run throughout on the screen for you to stay on track. Let's train those shoulders hard together with only dumbbells Aliens!

Do you train only using these routines that you share or using a 'standard' hypertrophy workout then following with a burnout?

I personally love following a powerbuilding type of main workout plan and using routines like this as 1 round finishers at the end of my workout! There are multiple ways these routines can be incorporated into your programming including full workouts themselves by doing multiple rounds so whatever works best for you to get them gains! 💪

Would you recommend heavy weights with rest between sets or 3/4 rounds of these sort of workouts?
Completely different types of training! If your main goals are size and strength and you have the option to use multiple levels of resistance then I'd recommend heavier weights with desired reps resting between sets and using a routine like this as a finisher at the end of your workout. If you're trying to build muscle with limited weight options or are going for more high intensity then these routines are great doing multiple rounds. Whatever works best for you!
