I finally understood the full story _(I think)_ from the Spires of Arak. Some of my thoughts after creating this movie: it's both magical and terrifying to live in this corner of Draenor. The landscape is beautiful and mysterious, but absolutely packed with great dangers. From the very first minute you spend here you witness the destruction of Veil Akraz and you understand how violent the events are here. Corruption, treason, slaughter - _it's good to be alive._ *Info:* If you are new to my channel, than it's useful to know that turning on the CC / Subtitles will show you the music tracks names. Also there are a lot of details in the video description. If you like what I do, please consider subscribing, liking and sharing the video. If you want to do even more, please support me on my Patreon or PayPal. Details in the video description. If you dislike the video, would like to take the criticism further and understand the reasons (maybe you dislike WoD, maybe you dislike the way I set the ambience or the music, or it's anything else). P.S. 1: Thank you Shumway for the request :) P.S. 2: This video is the "story mode" version, following somehow a logical (quest) path. Tranquil version coming up soon I hope! *Related videos:* Spires of Arak _Tranquil_ Music & Ambience: ua-cam.com/video/3_OH_Ary47k/v-deo.html Shadowmoon Valley (General) Music & Ambience: ua-cam.com/video/4u1lcQp2i-Q/v-deo.html Warlords of Draenor music & ambience playlist: tiny.cc/n050xy With love, Meisio
Admiral Taylor's garrison questline was a real masterpiece. The most horrifying moment was when you were reading his journal after the last battle. It gave me chills!
I remember being very disappointed when I've discovered his fate. In a way typical Blizzard, it grows a character several expansions and then kills it easily (sometimes even offstage like they did with Admiral Taylor). There is also a pattern: if you see a character into Blizzard's cinematics, chances are pretty high will die that expansion (or few expansions later). Taylor was suppose to be a survivor, a man of the sea, he would have been a great addition to Battle for Azeroth sea adventures for example.
I was waiting for this video for so many years... Thank you, now I can die in piece. The music in this zone is magnificent, dark, sad, but beautiful. This is what I want to listen while drawing.
Hey, you should have said something. I might not be the quickest out there, but I have a whiteboard full of suggestions and ideas which is always welcoming new stuff :) I hope the video raises to your expectations. I'll make a tranquil version as well, only with the slow pace songs. Salutations!
WoD could have been something great. Leveling and questing is some of the best we’ve ever seen. There was a real chance to capture a similar magic that we had in TBC. But alas, it was not to be. Thanks for the upload!
I've said it before and I'll say it again; despite WoD being a giant pile of rat shit, Draenor itself is a masterpiece, easily the most inspired and inspiring continent in the entire game with only Outland being truly able to compete. Every single zone is atmospherically and aesthetically absolute pure gold, and the quests aren't half bad either. Its just a shame the rest of the expansion sucked so much ass, just imagine if they hadn't tried to switch to that damn one expansion every year development cycle! Draenor really did have the potential to revitalize the game. I don't regret playing this expansion at all, and even look back to it fondly, until I remember the Garrison Jukeboxes and S.E.L.F.I.E. cameras.
I almost forgot how powerful are the songs from Neil Acree. And they make a good combination with Sam Cardon's tracks. Soon after I've finished the video I've realized that this "collaboration" happened recently as well in the Vol'Dun area, which has the same feeling (Vol'Dun + Vulpera tracks). Here is the proof: ua-cam.com/video/HjF-PXip0z4/v-deo.html Salutations :)
Rise to the dark is in a quest line here. The Skyreach music is for the dungeon. I'm creating dungeon videos as well. In all fairness I've only created vanilla dungeons videos, but hopefully this will change soon. Impressed by your knowledge by the way. Thank you for the criticism. Kind regards, Meisio
I miss the casual gameplay and my garrison. Can't remember anything special from raids. I remember that after Tanaan Jungle everything became a grind. Thank you for watching
Hey Jack, Thank you. I know you like Draenor, that's the place where you first commented on my videos :) Tranquil version here: ua-cam.com/video/3_OH_Ary47k/v-deo.html (I will publish it very soon). Salutations :D
It is. Sorry for being so late :( I have sooo many unfinished plans. By the way, when you say Blood Elf racial video, are you thinking about all expansions until BfA or just Cata only?
It will always annoy me that they never made the Arrakoa into a playable race. They have some of the best lore in the game, a unique look and style. Such a waste.

Azeroth?
Good catch! Thank you Scott!
Say what you want about WoD, but the zones and questing are amazing
It started perfect, finished not so well unfortunately. I've *loved* my garrison!

What are we without the sky? I've been waiting for this one. Much appreciated, friend. :D
Memorable line. Thank you Johnny and nice to meet you (I don't remember talking before, apologies if we did! :) )

This is one of those zones I come back to in order to adventure around in aimlessly. Love it so much.

Looks amazing. The shots are perfect. I can see how much you put into it
1st comment, huh? :)
Thank you ❤

I see Rukhmar flying in the background! I finally got him to drop the mount after 4 years and over 4000 kills later. This music is nostalgic.

Always loved the soundtrack of this area ^-^

Zones in wod are very good!
Hey Karol, I hope you are well :)
Yes! I agree! Like the ones in BfA. Not commenting the overall patch though. But I've loved the art around it.
Why so less likes. You deserve like thousands of likes for these uploads. Thanks a lot my friend!
man, i need to take a trip back to draenor just because of this zone
the quest and the story here is fantastic
Yay! Thank you for this long expected video! :)
Thank you for the request
Hello! How do you record those smooth camera angles in-game? They're beautiful. Good Job!
Lots of angry birds in this place lol. I like the music though.
The story is nice. Not all the birds here want your head though 🙂
why the heck did you include Rise to The Dark ? can't remember this track being in that place. You forgot Skyreach as well ? Thanks friend

Nicely done, don't miss wod, but it brings back cool memories anyway

Thank you for watching
@@Meisio yes it was a good expac, they just didnt give us enough content towards the end..
@@ZguichardZ I agree. :)
Hi fren, it's been some time. Love this and love you.
Hey Jack,
Thank you. I know you like Draenor, that's the place where you first commented on my videos :)
Tranquil version here: ua-cam.com/video/3_OH_Ary47k/v-deo.html (I will publish it very soon).
Salutations :D
OOF, thanks for that link! It's getting me through work on a Monday morning! Is a blood-elf racial video still on the cards?
It is. Sorry for being so late :( I have sooo many unfinished plans.
By the way, when you say Blood Elf racial video, are you thinking about all expansions until BfA or just Cata only?
Any and all Blood Elf music from any expansion really. And no stress, the video will come when the time is right :)
Thank you for the patience Jack. I'll try to think about the Blood Elves video, see what's relevant to include in a music & lore video.
if there was any good thing about WoD, it was the music
Shadows gather... when the raven swallows the day.
